We offer fresh, authentic, rustic Palestinian & Middle Eastern food with a hint of the Mediterranean. Pomegranate, sumac, almonds, za’atar, mint, lemons, figs, pine nuts all add to the smell of real Palestinian food, that you can enjoy in our eclectic restaurant. The décor is based on a Bedouin tent merged with pieces from “one thousand and one nights” (and no we do not have a flying carpet).
The food was delicious! the staff were so friendly, the price was very reasonable. We had a really nice evening there :)
Great food and professional service.
Group of 7. Table just inside the window. Great experience as always!
Bit dissatisfied with the amount of food presented, still quite hungry after meal!!! But service was great and the atmosphere.
Fantastic ambience. BYOB so refreshing
Service relaxed but effective
Deffo come back
Food wad patch with great starter and desert but beer average main course. Service was not great. It felt like he was not all that bothered
Lovely meal, lovely staff, brilliant value. Would recommend
We enjoy Shakshuka but they need to address the problem with the door - a curtain around it or something and a better closing mechanism. Service and food are very acceptable.
Lovely place, great service, delicious food
Really great middle eastern cuisine :- can’t fault this place . Amazing value for money too which is a nice change for Dublin
Sunday night was quiet but ambience very relaxed. We had delicious food and a lovely young waiter. I will definitely be back😋
Absolutely love this little gem of a restaurant.
The food is always very tasty with a great range of options.
The staff are very friendly and obliging.
The fact that it's BYOB is a great plus.
One downside was that their door never shut properly (super annoying and drafty in winter) but they seem to have rectified this.
The food was really good. I especially liked the desert (Knafeh). Also the shearing plates are perfect for 2 people.
It has gone a little expensive since our first visit, but we enjoyed celebrating my wife's birthday dinner at her favourite restaurant! Book in advance, as every table was taken after we arrived. Very good food!
Lovely evening with fantastic food at the right price
Really tasty, accessible and reasonable fare.
I love this restaurant. Staff are so professional and polite. We usually get the sharing Mezze . It’s best to book at the weekend as I have seen patients turned away as it is often fully booked, especially at the weekend.
Looking forward to our next visit.
Food at Shakshuka is fresh, tasty and offers great variety. Their vegetarian set menu for two was delicious and our very friendly waitress was happy to exchange the hummus for our preferred baba ghanoush that they always do very well. Service was friendly and efficient and their BYOB is great value.
The food at Shakshuka is delicious and full of flavour; we had the mezze for two so were able to sample a few dishes. The atmosphere is lovely and relaxed. I would recommend!
Eight of us dined here on a busy Friday evening and every one of us enjoyed the entire experience. The food and service was excellent and we all will happily recommend Shakshuka to people.
Best falafel in Dublin! Cosy, authentic atmosphere and great staff. 👌
As always the most homely, authentic and hospitable place to dine out! Food is excellent!
This was my second visit to Shakshuka and it was as enjoyable as the first. The waitstaff were charming and helpful, the ambience is great, and the choice of dishes is good, allowing for all tastes (1 vegetarian, 1 pescatarian and 3 omnivores). All in all I'd recommend it.
Second visit to this lovely little restaurant - food great, service fast and friendly, good value, love BYOB (small corkage fee) - only complaint was that the place was rather chilly on a wintry evening....
Great food well worth a visit. Delicious homemade Baklava...
It was very cold. Kept having to close the door and sat beside the window and had to keep coat on
Great little restaurant, with nice authentic food, nice ambiance and good service.
Wonderful Palestinian and Middle Eastern food, maybe the best in Dublin! Always love to come here. Great menu and friendly staff.
We are regulars at Shakshuka over the years and really like the food. This time we noticed however that the menu has changed and the prices have gone up quite a bit. Also the old menu with the old prices is still displayed in the window, or at least it was when we were there last. It was a bit chilly but the guy said they were installing new heaters. The food is lovely as is the service however.
Excellent experience great value
Super local favourite with tasty healthy Palestinian food served by lovely staff - very reasonably priced and byob with low corkage!
Good service, food was tasty and seemed all freshly made and using good quality ingredients. Good service. Slightly cramped seating, found it a bit on cold side but it was a cold night.
Great food. attentive but inobtrusive waiter. Glad it was a quiet night cos its quite a small place. Lovely evening and great value.
Great food in a fun, lively atmosphere - will go back again and again!
Lovely place and great food
A great meal as always. A lovely selection of mezze and equally tasty main courses. We always order too much but it makes lunch time something to really look forward to the next day. Brilliant staff and gorgeous decor make Shakshuka one of our favourite places to go for a never-fail casual dinner. Just fabulous.
Brilliant ambience. Always love the experience here :)
Lovely relaxed atmosphere, tasty and authentic food at very reasonable prices.
This restaurant used to be exceptional when it was still 'Little Jerusalem' (under previous ownership?).
Unfortunately the quality of the food has deteriorated while prices have gone up considerably. Set menues are overpriced. All plates now dominated by a hug pile of rice and rather little of the actual dish. Presentation of food is poor. Would not go again
Very nice good. Falafel was a bit dry and have had nicer hallomi but everything else was very tasty. Service was very good
