Superb food, superb atmosphere, just brilliant. Will definitely head back there at some point again soon.
Amazing food every single time.
Great place to eat but very noisy! Food was lovely and the portion sizes were generous but it was spoilt but a group of people, one guy in particular, who loved the sound of his own voice and his language was disgusting and in such a small place was very noticeable....Obviously that is not the restaurants fault but it made for an uncomfortable evening, we just wanted to get out, which was a shame.
We made a last minute booking for this restaurant. We were not disappointed. The restaurant is small, which was lovely.
The service was excellent with helpful and friendly staff.
The food was outstanding.
Best chinese food ever. Great value for money. Not too fancy.
Very authentic and the staffs are all very friendly, which I found quite unusual in Chinese restaurants in Soho!
I’ve lived in Sichuan for a year and was able to find all the main authentic dishes here!! Incredible. Staff is really nice too and environment is clean.
The food was not served all at once , very inexperienced waiters and the disturbing thing was when I checked home the bill and I found a service charge even i tell them to add a tip.
Not coming back in 1000 years.
A Chinese restaurant at walking distance from our hotel. The food was very good but not spectacular. Service, however, was kind and efficient. This is extra important for kids that are hungry. In a neighborhood where there are plenty of reasonably priced restaurants to pick from, I would certainly consider Sichuan Chef one to consider seriously.
I had dinner here with a group of friends. It coincided with one of my friend’s birthday; the restaurant allowed us to bring in a cake to celebrate (I asked, knowing they didn’t have cake on the menu). The staff brought out the cake after our meal without my having to prompt them, having arranged candles on it that I had brought in with the cake. Afterwards, they also happily gave us containers to split and bring home left over cake.
All commented on how good the food was (albeit some dishes, some found a little salty) and we had a great time. Thank you to the staff for helping to make it an enjoyable evening.
Food was excellent, and the menu a little different which was lovely, service and staff very good and helpful. I appreciate that the restaurant is fairly small which indeed makes the ambiance very good, however, there was a party of four people next to our table of two and the tables were very close and so their conversation was quite loud for us.
Apart from that it was a lovely meal and well recommended to anyone.
Service was prompt, the food very good, and I was very pleased as I have never been and was taking an American friend I like very much out for dinner here and was worried about it not being a good restaurant. She loved it, and I am grateful! Thanks so much for a wonderful evening!
Good service and nice Sichuan food
I’ve been here many many times and this time booked on OT (you can normally just roll in) because they deserved a review. Nothing fancy about the place and the endless delivery drivers coming in can be annoying if you are sat in their path but the food is outstanding and the service impeccable.
Have to force myself not to go every week live the food that much.
Never fails. Quality of food is excellent and the team know how to look after you. A long time favourite.
The lunch menu offered good value (though the included soup wasn't great) and we had a few things there that combined well with options from the ALC menu. Excellent service. Would definitely return.
Excellent! Like being back in China. Highly recommended!
The Sichuan Chef is now the premier Chinese restaurant in Earl's Court. It has a great menu combining traditional Anglo-Chinese fayre with more authentic regional dishes. The service is first class and unobtrusive. With the closure of the Dragon Palace on Earl's Court Road, thank God for the Sichuan Chef.
Very friendly service. Authentic Szechuan food. Very tasty.
Ottimo ristorante cinese, prezzi bassi per essere a Londra, servizio puntuale e garbato. Ambiente semplice e familiare. Consiglio
Great restaurant and friendly staff. We will definitely be returning to try the other items on menu.
The food is excellent very small but cozy, service is good
Outstanding Sichuan food. Tiny restaurant. Reservations helpful. Homemade noodles and steamed dumplings have great Q. The experiemce is enhanced if you enjoy spicy food.
Probably The closest you will get to authentic Sichuan cuisine in London
Its all about the food
The service is attentive and friendly
The customerd were from a variety of backgrounds who all seemed to be here for good Sichuan food away from Sichuan
Nice small restaurant. High quality food cooked in a proper manner. Very kind and friendly service. Highly recommended!
The portions were generous and the food was good value for money, although some dishes were quite salty! The service was excellent.
Wonderful staff and outstanding food. Very tasty and every option has a picture by the description
Proper Chinese food, like you get in Sichuan restaurants all over China. The two of us shared fried dumplings, twice cooked pork, fried green beans and spinach with garlic. All delicious and exactly as it should be.
Great staff and friendly service.
As ever, this place is fantastic. Amazing food, large menu and great value!
Very cosy dining room. Really interesting menu full of dishes I’ve never seen before. Great service and very reasonable prices. I’ll definitely be back!!
Good food. Some more exotic dishes for the more adventurous. Good service
Food is unbeatable. Authentic Sichuan cuisine and very friendly service. A wonderful dining experience.
An excellent Sichuan restaurant in West London. No need to go to Chinatown.
Very authentic quality food that is reasonably priced.
If ever you are craving some Sichuan cuisine in London, this is the place to go
Great Sichuan spicy Chinese food, simple decor but quite good value. Great location as it is very close to tube station! One of the rare true Sichuan restaurants in the west of central London.
Excellent all round would thoroughly recommend to all. It was a lovely meal we had and the staff were very attentive. We asked what they recommended us to eat and accommodated meals without garlic and gluten free, and all was catered for and so very tasty. Will be going again. 👍😀
this was one of the best and authentic Chinese food in all of London!
Excellent service. The food was a bit turned down in the spice level but will surely return when next in London.
Amazing. I've been three times in two weeks. The dishes are totally authentic and well presented. Service is cheerful and helpful.
Excellent food, 50% of clientele were Chinese which is always a good sign
