Superb food, a real treat and good service.
Only 2 little things that I think could have been better. Firstly the room is large and sound echoes, with a full house, testament to its popularity the noise was overwhelming at times. Maybe some form of noise reduction could help?
Secondly, make sue you ask for tap water... still is £5 a bottle which I just think is too much.
A real treat as always! Indian flavours mixed with Western ingredients that blow your mind!
Wonderful lunch at Sindhu, my family members are very fussy eaters and especially with Indian food they would rather eat at home. Each member of my family loved the balance of flavours, none of the spices were overpowering, the ambience was perfect and we thoroughly recommend the restaurant. It’s a must do !
Excellent venue for a birthday lunch.
Staff very friendly and helpful. In fact chef created a special candle light cake slice for our birthday boy. Made him feel special.
Excellent food and good value. Highly recommended.
Very enjoyable lunch, very relaxed and interesting food
The dall had obviously been sitting in the kitchen for a long time as it was both dry and clogged. The Biryani was underwhelming and lacked appropriate spicing. The deserts were frosted and inedible.
Generally the food was on the tasteless contour. Surprising, as I have always rated Atul to be one of the best, if not the best, Indian Chef in UK. Perhaps, having too many commitments, in his various business engagements, has a cost and the quality suffers. The delegated chefs in the restaurant are not Atul.
Wow! Wow! Wow! Blown away. Beautiful food, wonderful restaurant, lovely staff. Highly recommend it to anyone.
Very nice venue for a delicious good value lunch with friends. Would definitely go again and also recommend this restaurant.
The whole experience was five star. The food was amazing. Beautifully spiced and seasoned. Excellent service and a wonderful atmosphere I would definitely go back.
Went there on a Friday for the lunch. Service was good. My wife is Pescetarian and the choice was quite boring really. The cauliflower starter was boring and very average. A fish option rather than squid would have been good. The salmon main was just ok for this class of restaurant. Ice cream dessert was poor (chocolate and a something and ginger - go to Thames Lido to taste proper ice creams.
Was a Christmas present from my son as we are all keen on our food - sorry but left disappointed. I think Atul should send in a secret taster - he would realise how "un-special" this was - we should have popped up the road to Tom Kerridge at Coach.
We both preferred the previous menu and so our enjoyment levels were reduced
Lunch menu outstanding value for money. Really enjoyed a very different menu to the standard in a lovely setting overlooking the Thames. House wines very good too. Will definitely return.
I'm a big fan of Atul's food. Love his recipe books, thoroughly enjoyed his masterclass and love Sindhu's for that special meal when there is something worth spending money on. Love it
Fantastic meal. We really enjoyed it. Everything was cooked to perfection.
Service was outstanding. Very enjoyable experience
Waiters very unfriendly
Embarrassed as we took friends out on the Virgin experience
The food was the festive menu which was cold and disappointing
I was thinking it would be like the Sindhu we have always enjoyed on our P&O cruise as I did email before to ask for the non festive menu but no one bothered to respond!
Food and service was without fault.
We will definately go again.
Excellent from beginning to end. My wife prefers relatively lightly spiced food and I prefer spicy, yet somehow we both found all the food perfectly spiced and so tasty with every course of the tasting menu. We will return.
The starters were very good but the mains were very disappointing. We had the chicken curry and the seafood curry and the sauces were sugary sweet and lacked a balance of flavour.
this is fabulous Indian cuisine, elevated, refined, not street style, not your local curry establishment, therefore it is elevated prices too, but worth paying.
This is our 4th year having lunch at Sindhu just after Christmas Food not as special as normal too many supplements. Also very noisy
Boxing Day !
Excellent food, good choice of dishes served by helpful staff.
The Food was delicious, all the flavours complementing each other.
We have already submitted a Trip Advisor review effectively saying that for a Festive Lunch we had anticipated more exciting food. The food was nice but only nice, we had hoped it would be better. Service was very good, additional £5 for nans seems excessive and the coffee was diminutive considering almost £5 a cup. We would recommend the restaurant to others as it was not a bad experience but it did not inspire us to make a quick return visit.
Great food in a lovely setting. Service was excellent. Thoroughly recommended.
Great tasting menu, varied and delicious, my friend also enjoyed the vegetarian tasting offering
Thoroughly enjoyed this meal. We had the tasting menu and it was innovative and really tasty. Will definitely return
Tasty! We especially loved the guntur prawns
Brought my parents for their birthdays and it was the first time at this restaurant for all of us. The service was amazing from start to finish. The food was cooked to perfection. The location was perfect and the ambiance was calm and relaxing even though there were many others in the same room.
Would recommend Sindhu to everyone and will return here soon.
We had the 7 course tasting menu with wine pairing. It was absolutely fabulous and the waiter explained each course and the wine with great detail. They even bought my partner a small birthday cake with candle which was a lovely touch.
We absolutely loved our lunch, the quality of the food was amazing and the service was fantastic. I have given the food four stars, I would of given five stars if the Kulfi ice cream was home made and not bought in. It just doesn't have that authentic taste. Kulfi is my favourite desert so for me that was a disappointment. Other than that it was amazing and I will definitely be going back!! We had a lovely time
Lovely food, sometimes a little one dimensional but with some very nice elements. The lamb was delicious, as was the scallop and the pheasant. I liked the desert - not normally a desert person but iwas nice. Attentive service.
Another great meal! Would recommend to anyone!
Only start missing because of a misleading email, ref “festive dining” but didn’t apply to the Anglers, even the waitress had to look for a bit to see why!
The quality of food was wonderful. Service was attentive and friendly. Overall a wonderful evening
Lovely food with plenty of different choices for each course from the menu. All staff very attentive and helpful and they responded quickly to any request for extra water etc.
I treated my friend for her birthday, and a lovely treat it was.
Lovely staff, really lovely food with wines to match. Made us feel very welcome and didn’t need to ask for anything as service was so attentive.
Wonderful food , well done to all the team.
We had the tasting menu which was delicious! Amazing staff, so attentive! We weren’t rushed, lovely dining room.
This is our third time to Sindhu. We first went two years ago and were really impressed with what a lovely atmosphere, what great service we received and how great the food was.
This time, I felt something wasn’t quite right. I missed white table cloths on the wooden tables. I thought the service was average. The food was still good but the whole package needs to be right for that venue and the overall cost.
Perhaps they’re a victim of their own success?
A little disappointing for us this time.
Beautiful indian food in a great location We went for the set Saturday lunch - 3 courses £25 - but we chose the lobster curry with a supplement and the wine is not inexpensive so our final bill for lunch was £120. Complimentary rice and a lentil side dish were a nice touch
