Best BBQ ever!

Server wasn’t friendly at all. Food was good.l though.

My boyfriend and I were in the mood for BBQ and this hit the spot. Love the mini cornbread muffins, too! My bf didn’t love the brisket sandwich and we had to wait forever to catch the attention of another waiter for BBQ sauces since our waiter never came back around.

I’ve rarely had BBQ where all of the meats are spectacular on the same evening. Usually quality is more uneven on any given night. But the brisket was maybe the best I’ve ever eaten and the pulled pork and ribs were fantastic. Sides were great as well - especially the Brussels sprouts. It was all so good I returned a couple of days later for takeout.

Fantastic! Food was great. All of the staff members where helpful, fast, and kind. Dining room and restrooms were clean. COVID measures were appropriate. Chief came out to ensure our meal was good. Great experience, we will be back.

This was an incredible eating experience. Booked a last-minute reservation on a busy Saturday night, and we were greeted and seated immediately. The restaurant took our temperature and was very COVID-safe. Our menus were online that we scanned a QR code for, and we never were too close to another table. Our server was always prompt and offered great advice on what to get. We ended up ordering the "Whole Lotta Que" for our party of four, which came with four sides and six sauces. It was overall an incredible experience. We were helped often and our waters were never empty. I would suggest going here to anyone who is looking for a safe, comfortable, nice place to eat!

Literally the best food in Arlington. Do not go anywhere else for food.

We really enjoyed Smokecraft and felt very safe during Covid. We went specifically for brunch and were pretty bummed to find out we couldn't order 1 of the 2 brunch drinks on the menu (they did not have any bloody mary mix)... but were pleasantly surprised by the other cocktails we did order - they were delicious albeit a bit pricey. The service was outstanding and the food was tasty. We will definitely be back to try more of the menu!

Random lunch one day, but wouldn’t go back.

The best barbecue around! We started with the deviled eggs and had some of their complimentary cornbread. For entrees we had the pulled pork sandwich and a combo with pulled pork and brisket. Absolutely amazing! A lot of food for a reasonable price. This was our third time here and we’re already planning our next visit.

The best local bbq place in Arlington! We got the full sampler and everything was delicious! Also bonus points for the smoked deviled eggs, we love this place!

Interesting form of protocols.

I had brisket, pulled pork, and Brussels sprouts. All were excellent. Server was very friendly. My only quibble is the beer list doesn't have much in the way of darker beers. Otherwise, I highly recommend this place.

Husband’s birthday and he really enjoyed the service and food.

Smokecraft is a new bbq restaurant that got a great review in the Post's top 10 so i was curious, especially since it's only been open for 3 1/2 months. the decor is very inviting and warm and i love seeing the wall of the dozen or so different types of woods used to smoke the meats- a rarity in the biz. we ordered a range of foods to test the house. each meat had a different wood infusion and none of them were too strong which is a problem with many places. what really sets Smokecraft apart is the quality of the meats. the chopped beef brisket was certainly a cut above in it's silky texture and juiciness. fries were above average too. decent amount of beef. cole slaw was average and neither too sweet or tangy, just neutral. the min cornbread cakes has a nice sweetness and caramelization. sauces were solid too and not overwhelming. the 3 meat tasting menu was a winner. the sliced brisket was the perfect combo of lean and fatty with with the thickness offering it a bend but not break that pulled apart just right for an excellent chew. again, the quality of cut was above almost all other competitors. the pulled pork was rich and moist and evenly smoked. most bbq places leave their smoked chicken as the neglected step-child of the family but not here. great color and delicate smoke with a moisture level that showed a mastery of the bird. i know it's Arlington and rent is high but the only negative would be portion size here on a $25 item. service was acceptable and the kitchen had our food out promptly. the Q'lub sandwich was fantastic with it's candied bacon and smoked ham being hard hitting flavor bombs. again, the balance of flavors and ratio of complimenting items shows a level of competence that's harder to find all the time. made with love and expertise. a modern take for sure and a place that offers many items you just never see so it will take many visits to truly explore all the options. a burden i gladly endure as it's a keeper.

Loved the food. Reasonable prices. Parking was no problem on a Saturday night in Arlington. Service was friendly and flexible.

This was our first time dining here and we were not disappointed! For appetizers, we tried the pork belly burnt ends, smoked avocado deviled eggs, and the salmon crostini. All of these were delicious, but the burnt ends were amazing!
For dinner, we went all out and had the "Whole Lotta Cue" platter so we could try everything. Everything was perfectly cooked and tasted amazing. I would definitely recommend this place for some great bbq, great drinks, and overall a great experience. We will definitely be back soon!

As a BBQ judge and fellow competitor, I wanted to try (and judge) Andrew Darneille’s restaurant Smokecraft Modern BBQ. The spot is gorgeous and the food is perfection! Sure, I knew Andrew made amazing BBQ, but the cocktails, the appetizers and the sides were all equally amazing!! Great job Andrew!!

Upscale bbq joint with exceptional delicious quality smoked meats at a reasonable price, if you like tender and juicy!!

The best modern BBQ place one can ask for if you’re a carnivore!

Food and service were amazing! The Cucumber Collins was delicious and I’m not usually a gin drinker. We had the nachos with brisket, the whole lotta cue and the tri tip, everything was amazing. My favorites were the Mac n cheese, the pork belly and the sausage. Alex was an amazing waiter. Definitely a must have in Arlington.

Love this place. Been here many times with my wife, and brought friends with us a few times too. Everyone agrees...YUM!

Food was so yummy! The spicy margs are delicious and the service was excellent.
