Soooo delicious. I married a Texan... I’ve had some BBQ in my life and the brisket and pastrami were tops! Overpriced compared to the small portions, not the most comfortable place to sit... but friendly service.

We ate beef, potatoe and salad. Everything was really nice. Good service. Only negative point is the noise.

The food is so good and the ambiance is great.

This place is really great, the food is excellent, service fun and attentive and hte atmosphere always buzzy. Always leave feeling absolutely stuffed. Only (minor) criticism is that the wine list is a little light.

Great food and service. Very cool that you can see into the kitchen and watch the dishes being prepped. Space between tables is snug so the place can feel a bit cramped when busy.

Foods always soooo good. And tunes are fab

The of cheek starter was amazing and would love to have them again. The rest of the food was good, too. Perhaps slightly more salty than my personal preference.

Great food, not a lot of variety - more quality over quantity but would certainly recommend!

It was a friends birthday - so we expected to pay more but still is pretty spenny for relatively small plates. Service and food great though but the tables are cramped and we constantly got kicked and bathed throughout dinner - which was not ideal for either of us. Definitely more volume custom over relaxed kinder dinner experience. Black lock definitely a more comfortable eat! Excellent allergy advice and care however - testament to the staff!

Smokestak is one of my fave places in London. The food is really outstanding but it is a shame that they have taken off the mushroom toast from the menu, it was incredible. One of our waitresses was fantastic but a couple of the other staff members seemed disinterested on this occasion. I love the industrial vibe but on a few occasion that I have been there it is always a bit chilly.

Great spot and wicked ambiance, I’ve walked past the place a few time’s and this is a serious bbq stop, you have to try the beef short rib!! That is the dogs B**ls

Great good & price

Very good, tasty food. Vegetarian dishes were especially good (spring greens, aubergine, beetroot dishes). Liked the fried ox cheek too.

Good atmosphere though service was occasionally absent. That didn't matter since we would have been happier to have stayed a bit longer - the only issue is that we were in and out in an hour.

Wonderful and I cant wait to come back. Great vegetarian options too.

We were seated at the bar despite having a reservation. Food is not near as good as the last time I came. Everything was dry, and felt like it was microwaved.

Always fantastic service, and the best carnivore experience in London

Were parked in a small, dark corner area of the restaurant against the stairs down to the loo on the ground floor. Very small stools on one side of the round tables, a very narrow bench on the other which was supremely uncomfortable. The food was average and the acoustics so loud we couldn't hear each other. Then there was the constantly-barking dachshund from the nearby diner. Overall, poor design and clearly never did a soft launch to know how to fix this nightmare of factors. ONe of the worst experiences dining out since arriving in London 31 years ago. #shameful

Smokestack is undoubtedly one of the best place I have eaten. Original tastes. A real foodgasm experience.

Service was nice and we were left enough time to enjoy our meal over and over again.

For the quality of meat and ingredients we paid a very fair price and we were surprised about it.

Portions are just perfect. We shared everything by 3 and it was just great.

A bit disappointing that on a Sunday at 1.30 Pastrami was already finished. I tried it before so I was ok with it, but I admit we firstly booked especially to try Smokestak pastrami. An opportunity to come back soon.

Qualità del cibo superiore, peccato la poca scelta. Avevamo prenotato per le 21,45 e, al momento di ordinare, metà delle proposte non era disponibile. Il servizio può essere migliorato, così come l’ acustica del locale, dove è quasi impossibile parlare senza urlare.

The restaurant ask us to leave after 1 hour that we got there. No one ask us if we'd like to look at the desserts. Their food was really good, but it is not a good place to go out with friends or to have a date, because you need to sit down, order, eat and leave, really fast. I got extremely embarrassed, because I suggested to go there.

Delicious brisket

Overall a fantastic meal, flavours were bang on, unique concepts and worth a visit if you don't mind a small hole in your pocket.

Interesting concept of the "wonton" crispy taco ceviche trout. Beautifully light and crunchy "wonton" with a refreshing mix of lightly vinegared trout. Although a bit heavy handed with the vinaigrette which resulted in a pool of juice which would then run down your arm, hopefully not staining your shirt.

For approx £15 per smoked meat dishes we were expecting a larger plate of meat in true southern style, but we were presented with A rib and 2 slices of brisket. Which were cooked to perfection and had a beautiful bark, but left quite a bit of room for more.

The tomato salad was a nice respite from the richness of two meat dishes. Not as fresh as I would have liked, as they tasted a bit riper than I would have liked, but would edible.

Dessert was top, beautiful salted caramel icecream but large chunky praline which were like Lego bricks in the mouth and a moist perfectly sauced sticky toffee pudding.

Love the pork belly and the beef briskets! The aubergine is also delicious!! However so sad to find out they’ve stopped serving pig tails (clearly haven’t been back in a while?!). Great venue regardless for hearty get together meal with friends!

Good food, really good flavors. Small portion for the price so I wouldn't go if I'm hungry but would definitely be back for nibbles
