Food was great, service was quick but the noise level was awful
Food and service were fantastic and the pricing was very fair also. The only issue was the noise levels as it was very hard to hear the person sitting just across from me. Would definitely come back
Went here for dinner on Friday night, after myself and my partner going past a few times we decided to book a table and try it out. Firstly out starters where put very fast and were absolutely beautiful, then we had our mains again which came in good time considering it was a busy Friday night. We went for the 2 courses and a cocktail each which is great value for money, and lots to choose from. We will definitely be back, also the servers were very polite and efficient.
Food was mixed, starters were nice. Main meals were not good.
My wife had mac & cheese that consisted of cheap supermarket pasta with a pile of cheese melted in it, there was no sauce and no taste.
My chicken Cesar salad had no sauce on it, the chicken was battered and the lettuce was more rocket than lettuce.
The musician that was on was not good and was very loud. Which made the noise level of people shouting at each other to talk to be unbearable.
Food and service good but very noisy atmosphere.
Went here with friends we all had pizza and they were lovely. Been before and would definitely go back again. Great staff
Came here for my 21st birthday meal while in Glasgow for the weekend, service was 5 star from the minute we came into the restaurant to as soon as we left, the food was absolutely to die for and very reasonably priced. Me and my boyfriend haven’t stopped talking about it since. Came in on a very busy Saturday and service was still very quick and overall brilliant. Will be back and would recommend to anyone
Food was amazing, loads of choice. Very attentive service
staff were amazing and food was fab. cocktails were great too.
Really quick service, great choice of draught beers
Ate here with a group of friends and had a nice evening. The service was excellent and the food was great with the exception of the minestrone soup which was made with burnt vegetables. The ambience was relaxing and noise level were more than acceptable. Would definitely come back
Truly placed the cherry on top of a special night. 10 out of 10 all round
Great service from the team. We were seated at a table next to a very loud, irritating group and we asked to be moved, which was done with no problem. Food was average. Good live music. Would definitely consider going back.
Place was really busy but service was good nevertheless. Out of a group of 4, I cleared my plate (not unusual), my wife felt her risotto was fairly bland and our 2 friends left about half. I done my best to help out but theres only so much I can eat. All in all we enjoyed our visit and would go back.
Great atmosphere, delicious food, very attentive staff and great variety of cocktails!
Enjoyed the welcome and food. I know the lighting is in keeping with the name of the restaurant, but for us a bit on the dark side, when it came to reading the menu, especially the small print.
The place was busy and very noisy, the food was average and some a the portions on the dishes we got were very small. We could not have a conversation during the meal as it was very loud and you had to shout at the staff when ordering a meal. We order two coffees at the end of our meal and it must be the worsted coffee I have tasted, we did ask for another two cups as would could not drink it but the second cup was just as bad. I have been to SoHo a few times but this was my worst experience and will think twice about going again at this time of day.
Food has changed. Not as nice as it used to be. Menu looks like it has changed also.
We see Soho as our "go to" place for the quality of food, great service, atmosphere and value for money. My wife, son and myself had lunch at Soho on sunday, I booked the table for 12:30. Service was very good (blonde lady, glasses and possibly originating from Eastern Europe - lovely), restaurant was very quiet. I ordered the Rigatoni and my wife had the king prawn risotto from the "specials" board, my son ordered a margarita pizza (as always). My wife and I, for whatever reason, and I have no doubt its connected to the food from Soho, have struggled with an upset stomach since Sunday night. Sorry guys but we'll be giving you a miss for a good while.
Beautiful food and surroundings. Will definitely be back
Took a while for server to come and take our food order we were waiting for about 15 minuites and had to call Someone over. However other than service was good and food was fantastic :)))
Having eaten in soho on a number of occasions we booked for a much needed meal after running the great scottish run half marathon. Can't fault the food, and venue was busy with other runners. However the attitude of staff didn't seem like normal. We ordered some pizza one without sour cream.. Unfortunately the pizza arrived with this on, even though we had made it clear when ordering. We accepted that a new one would take ten minutes... Although was understandably v hungry. After twenty five minutes it still hadn't arrived.. And we asked another staff member to check. Shortly later it arrived with very little in the way of an apology... The original server also appeared to suggest we had order wrong. Thankfully food was good. We then asked for a dessert menu, which sadly never arrived. When finally settling bill, I thought this member of staff was far from friendly. Never experienced this before and hopefully a one off, as would like to go back..
Overall disappointing. Had looked forward to eating here. Turned up 20 mins before booking wasnt seated until 25 mins after, struggled to read menu as it was so dark. 1 meal was sent back as it was burnt, although it was replaced and removed from bill. I appreciate it was a busy saturday night but it was like organised chaos.
Outstanding every time we visit! Favourite place for a date night
Poor food. Poor atmosphere. Music too loud. Sticky tables.
Brilliant atmosphere, food was lovely. Staff were absolutely run off their feet but dealt with it magnificently!
Loved the vibe here with attentive friendly service, great live music and delicious food. The mussels in white wine was the star of the evening, juicy and tasty. Pizza is good and certainly above average. I should have tried the sorbet than cheesecake after two courses as it is a very rich version.
Great atmosphere and in a great location. Food was brilliant and the service was quick. Can’t recommend this place enough
A fantastic resturant - great quality & wonderfully prepared food, generous portions & interestingly innovative menu. One of my favourite restaurants!
Amazing, as always. My partner and I ALWAYS come here whenever we’re in Glasgow. It’s amazing, the staff and customer service is excellent.
We had a fab night at the restaurant on Saturday 7th Sept. We chose the 2 courses and a cocktail for £19.95 good value plus another few drinks. The entertainment was really good will definitely be back soon .
Service was really good staff were very nice couldnt hear myself think it was so loud but it was saturday night and the food for what it was was ok but over priced
Birthday dinner. Fabulous. A bit disappointed with steak dinner hubby had.
My Pasta was perfection
We just loved it the moment we walked in the door, staff are lovely, they can’t do enough for you,and we got the £20,2 course with a cocktail and it was really nice, and so was the cocktail we will be back xx
Lovely friendly staff, nice atmosphere, great central location and delicious food. Definitely worth a visit!
It was mines and my boyfriends first time being here and the food was delicious, as was the cocktails we had. The ambiance and atmosphere was amazing but it was slightly too loud because of the live music but didn’t effect our experience at all as the music was really good. Only issue was our table was very dark so we struggled to read the menu, luckily we were next to the window so there was a strip of light we could hold the menu under. Overall the experience was great and definitely will be back, the staff were also very polite and friendly. Would recommend 100%.
Excellent service, food amazing and overall a great places to visit when in Glasgow.
A very mixed review unfortunately. Restaurant and toilets quite smelly. Food was quite good. Massive portions. Great value. BUT two of our party who had pate were ill afterwards. Draw your own conclusions
Very much enjoyed our first visit. Staff and food excellent and we were able to chat without shouting. Cocktails were very good
Quirky wee place with a quirky interesting menu and lovely fairy lights everywhere. The pizzas were good but would be better if they were less well fired, too crispy and crunchy for my liking. Good place for casual drinks with friends, far too noisy for nice meal with my parents tho and its was saturday 4pm but had to shout to hear each other. Still liked it though just didn't suit my occasion and from the photos I didn't sense the quirkiness, looked atmospheric from the fairy lights.
