The food was great and the staff really good. It seemed quite manic and I think they were under a lot of pressure that evening. I would still go back and have another meal when I was next in the area .
Understaffed, got the food order wrong, said they had stopped serving cocktails (on a Friday night) but I could clearly see the lady making cocktails so must have been for the select few? food was a bit bland items labelled as spicy weren’t spicy at all, the sushi was nice. Food did take a while to come out and I seen another table complaining about this.
The food was absolutely delicious and the staff was lovely. Looking forward to going back.
Nice selection of expected foods on the menu, plus a few new things to try. The quality of the meat in our mixed grill was excellent and the lamb chops were the best I'd ever had. Would definitely recommend it to others.

Great restaurant with a varied menu
We love this restaurant and is one of our favourites in Newcastle, unfortunately the food is marked down this time as it was received at the table warm rather than the usual hot. It was however still of good quality, pleasing to the eye and very tasty.
Staff are always happy to assist, recommend and are tentative.

The service was very slow and it wasn’t that busy, but the food was well worth the wait!
We booked a table for 6:45, upon arrival we got told we were sat downstairs closest to the stairs. When we got down there there were still people sat on the table having drinks and had just ordered some more. So we just left after about 5 minutes of waiting with no available staff to talk too.
Came here for some food before the match. Ordered 3 small plates as my main and my partner ordered a meal from the main menu for himself. One of the small plates came around 20 minutes before any other meals. Waited around 5-10 mins to start eating as I thought the other food would be coming meaning I was sat eating alone for this time. My partners meal came next which was originally delivered to the wrong table then brought over to ours. He ordered the ribeye which was full of fat, edible but served on its own. Again nothing else followed this meal forcing my partner to eat his meal without his side dish. My partner had finished his steak before his rice arrived. My food eventually came, I chose the teriyaki chicken skewers which were pink and fatty when I cut into them and I also ordered the beef bao buns which the meat was also very fatty and inedible. The buns were hard and tasteless. Service was very slow multiple people around questioning where their food was. Really really disappointed with this meal as had heard such good things. Will not be returning.
The best Korean food I've found. The team are lovely and I love being able to sit back, relax and enjoy some great food with friends.

We love it here, the food is always delicious and there is so much choice. The staff are always friendly and accommodating and the place has a lovely vibe. Highly recommend.
Very nice food and a cosy atmosphere, me and my friends really enjoyed our time. The only issue we had was with a confusion when splitting the bill between us and the waiter which ended up complicating the monetary side of things for me and my friends. However apart from that the staff were really nice and we would go back
The food was great however it was let down by the service. We ordered sushi first which took about 45minutes to arrive. I kept chasing up with the staff and there was no apology. We also got a dish we hadn’t ordered but realised too late so didn’t say anything! It didn’t seem like anyone was in charge. With a strong manager this place would be 5*

sushi was revolting, clearly off. got very sick from it, put me off my ramen and buns were meant to be steamed. hard as nails, could use the bun as a hammer. usually adore this place but never coming back. after the sushi was brought up to staff they took it away and we clearly heard them say it was off. they came back and told us it wasn’t, as if we don’t know what off sushi smells like. waitress was rude after complaining, not our fault i got terribly sick from the sushi.

We go here very often and usually absolutely love it here. The service was awful this time. We were celebrating a birthday and I had added this to the information when booking, not that I wanted anything special but I would’ve definitely liked better service. The food we ordered came all in a random order - the main dish with no sides, then the starters, then the sides by themselves - I wondered if this was just me being picky but looked around and saw everyone around me having there meal in the correct order, which obviously made us feel worse. We were also missing one of the starters we ordered, I asked three separate servers three times if they could help, they didn’t seem do to anything to solve this, until eventually a server came over with the receipt and pointed at it to say I hadn’t ordered that, so I had to tell her that I definitely did as I always order the same starter and again did nothing to improve the situation. Then after all our disappointment we waited for ages for the bill to arrive, weren’t asked if we wanted any drinks just sat with a completely empty table for ages. The serve came over eventually and asked if we had been served yet, even though we had been sitting there a while and were waiting to leave. I’m just really disappointed as this is one of my old favourites but they seem to have got it all wrong this time.
First time I visited this restaurant it was lovely, good food, quick service and nice ambience. I made the mistake of visiting on a match day, and the shortage of staff made the service extremely slow. However the main issue with the visit was the face I was served raw meat not once but twice. I ordered the pork yakitori, took one bite, before realising it was completely pink through. The outside was burnt, so I can only suspect they cooked this pork from frozen. After sending this dish back I received no replacement for it. I then waited 20 minutes for my second dish, the chicken Katsu, which was also completely pink in the middle. I sent this dish back and was offered no other substitute or replacement dish. I ate nothing but steamed rice. When the bill came, these undercooked dishes had been left on, alongside an additional dish which I had been told they couldn’t supply. It took a surprising amount of hassle to get these taken off the bill. I felt bad for the staff, as they were obviously stressed, overworked and underprepared to deal with this situation. But it couldn’t have been handled worse. Definitely avoid this restaurant on match days.
Really enjoyed the great food but wasn’t available some we chose from the menu. Soju and some food.
Also didn’t get noticed it was booked for a birthday meal.

I've had bibimbap and ramen on my 2 visits. Both were very nice and I'd recommend.

Unfortunately Kevin and Arran have left the restaurant and the service was very poor - they were just letting people in despite the fact tat they clearly didn't have the staff to service the tables or the kitchen to provide the food in a timely manner - it took over 45 minutes to get our first course which was not as hot as it should have been - such a shame as this was one of my favourite restaurants because it has such an extensive menu at very reasonable prices
Reasonable food in a fairly nice setting. Staff were nice but service a little slow at times. No lobster available, the dish we had travelled for.
