SoHo Park - Hell's Kitchen
SoHo Park features casual American Cuisine, all-day Breakfast and Brunch, a morning to 8pm Happy Hour, and a full line-up of beer, wine and specialty cocktails, all served in a warm, contemporary, garden-like atmosphere.
With three floors, two full bars, and an outdoor beer garden patio, SoHo Park offers guests a wide variety of options when planning special functions and get togethers.
I keep coming back because I like the food and the vibe here. Relaxed, no-rush, tasty food, and great prices for this part of the city. They have a gem of an outdoor garden on their 2nd floor, which I try to sit in whenever I come. Service is also friendly and they do pretty much anything you ask.
Dropped by for breakfast as I often do right before work. The staff here is so nice, the atmosphere is really good (I love the garden), and the food is consistenly tasty while also being affordable. There is also an all-day happy hour Monday - Friday which is great when you want a drink for lunch or after work. Bartenders and servers always try their best, and treat you politely, which is unfortunately a rarity in Manhattan.
I'm a regular customer here, and come back because the food is really good, and because I like the ambiance. The prices here are very competitive, like similar to the diners around, but you get much more for your money here. The food is really well made and has a lot of love put into it, and the environment is so much nicer than some dumpy diner. There are plants everywhere inside, hence the name Soho Park, and there is a beautiful outdoor patio on the 2nd floor.
Nice peaceful breakfast! Cute interior garden decor, multiple levels, and very good food at a decent price. Overall it's gotta be one of the best choices in Times Square. We sat on the 1st floor which was fine, but before leaving we went up to the 2nd floor as well, and wished that we had sat there. Very nice outdoor patio visible in the back, and overall a more airy and chill vibe than the 1st floor. We'll be back!
Wonderful food, happy hour, and patio! We have off today, and decided to stay close to home and give this place a try. We sat in the outdoor patio, which is absolutely gorgeous and almost felt like being in a resort. There is an all-day happy hour, which is very generous and we decided to take advantage with some beer and margaritas. Food was great too. Nice place to feel like you're escaping the city!
This is a great place for a casual breakfast or lunch! I've been here multiple times, and think that the food is a step better than you will find at similar prices elsewhere in the neighborhood. They are especially known for their burgers and all-day breakfast offering, which are really good.
This is a dope spot for breakfast and brunch. We came in, and everything we ordered was good. It seemed freshly prepared, and like they used good quality ingredients. The place itself looks good, with three floors, including a lounge on top and an outdoor roofdeck / garden in the back area upstairs. Overall this is a good place for any kind of celebrations or just a early morning out with friends.
The atmosphere with the patio and open windows on both sides of the building (we were on the 2nd FL) was great, but the food was abysmal and the service was lacking. They also decided to turn the music up a lot towards the end of our meal, which completely restricted conversation.
This place has maybe the best patio in Hell's Kitchen! It's on the 2nd floor, so it's not visible when you are walking by or walking in, but if you ask to be seated there, it feels like you're in a resort environment, and not one block from Times Square. Food is fresh, delicious, and made with good quality ingredients. Service is accommodating and polite.
Soho Park is a nice lively place for a weekend brunch! Of all the options around this area, this restaurant probably has the best balance of affordable price, good food, plenty of seating options, and a staff that is completely without attitude. This is a 3 floor restaurant and bar, so you can be sure of them having something even for large parties, regardless of what time you come.
Very nice place with a delicious brunch offering. We ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich and the house pancakes. While the pancakes were good, the croissant sandwich was probably the best that I ever had! Prices are great for what you get as well, at least by New York City standards.
I made a booking online for a large group for my birthday. On the day of the dinner I called the restaurant to confirm there will be a table for us. The lady on the phone confirmed. However, when we arrived it turned that there was a private party at the venue, no food was being served, and the staff denied that I had a booking. I was redirected to 5 different staff members, each of whom was really impolite and had no interest in resolving the issue. We went to another place and had a really great dinner. I will not visit the SoHo Park ever again.
The server was very inattentive. She brought my birthday cake while I was in line to use the restroom even though my friend secretly asked her 5 times before that. So my other friend who was at the table while I used the restroom sent a pic of the cake with the sparkler in it in front of my empty chair. The server also brought a table of 6 women behind us ONE glass (not bottle but one glass) of champagne to share. I don’t know what they requested but I just remember one woman at the table exclaiming “Wtf?! She brought that one glass to the table and said share, share, share.” As I saw the server carry away the glass.
Also, they don’t have security. A man tried to skip the line for the restroom we were on and when she didn’t let him he pushed his way into the bathroom with her and refused to leave. His friend had to come get him out.
The drinks weren’t strong. The food was meh.
It was all in all just a bad experience. I would not recommend.
Came for an early brunch and was surprised to find the restaurant already very busy. Nevertheless our group was seated right away on the 2nd floor, in the patio. We ordered a variety of items, and I can say that we all liked our meals. Prices were very reasonable, the servers were very polite, and overall everyone had a good time. We'll be back again!
First time here for the weekend brunch, and I was impressed by how good the food was, and how nice the atmosphere is in their outdoor terrace. They serve the breakfast and brunch menu all day every day of the week, so no matter when you come, I recommend the breakfast croissant sandwich with 2 sunny side up eggs. It's absolutely delicious!
Food was great and service was good when we got the service. Seemed not enough waiters. The busy bartender was also out waitress.
This is one of the newer places in the neighborhood we wanted to try, and we finally got around to it. There are a lot of seats and we decided to sit in the garden on the 2nd floor. We ordered the bacon brie burger and the chicken & waffles, and both the burger and the chicken waffles were freshly made and very good. In fact the burger was one of the best burgers I've ever had, in the city or otherwise. Great prices for the Midtown area too.
Outstanding choice for those that don't want to spend too much while still getting good food and a good atmosphere. The entire facade was folded open when we were there, on 2 floors, allowing a beautiful breeze to come in and make sitting inside feel like we we were outside. Along with a very pretty garden in the back with plants, hanging lights and parasols, it was a very nice setup.
Came in for a tasty breakfast and a nice ambiance. I would recommend the sausage and egg croissant sandwich with hash brown, which along with their entire breakfast menu, they serve all day. Prices are great and overall it's a solid choice in this part of town.
Chill place with a signature all-day breakfast menu and great burgers. Attractive patio on the 2nd floor, and staff are friendly and no-attitude. We could stay as long as we liked this weekday morning.
Soho Park was a really nice surprise after being stuck in the Times Square area for a few days. Unlike other places, the food is actually reasonably priced and very good. The environment is not ticky-tacky, and there are a lot of local office worker customers that make us think that this is one of the better places for a meal and drink in the neighborhood. Great all-day happy hour options by the way.
Good food, nice ambiance, and friendly polite waitstaff. And if the weather is nice, there's an absolutely beautiful outdoor garden in the back that almost feels like a resort, with hanging string lights, a big blue parasol, and lots of tropical looking plants.
We came back to this place again after a while, and it was still excellent. Great outdoor patio, like one of the nicest in Hell's Kitchen and Times Square. Prices are great, food is delicious, and overall the best way to describe this place is a good deal.
We were looking for a chill place for a birthday party, and this was definitely that. Excellent food, a bottle of champagne on the house, good music, and overall we had a great time. We will definitely be recommending this place to others.
This place has potential .... if they ramp up their service
Great place! I love the quality of the food here. It's not fusion or anything pretentious, but what they make is well made and delicious, and for a good price. There is a pretty dining area and on a warm day they open up all their glass doors so that the entire restaurant is open to the outside on two floors. Check out their backyard patio, it's amazing.
Awesome place for groups. We had a little casual birthday gathering here, and the group size was a little different than what we made a reservation for, but the staff didn't mind and made sure we felt right at home. Amazing all-day happy hour too!
We had a beautiful breakfast here on a beautiful morning, out in the garden they have on the 2nd floor. The food is prepared to order, tasty, and not expensive at all. Someone else who compared it to diner prices was right. This place charges like a diner but for much better food in a much better atmosphere.
I had an excellent croissant breakfast sandwich here. With sausage links, arugula, and two sunny side up eggs on top, making it absolutely delicious to bite into. The croissant sandwich came with a really good, homemade hash brown as well. This is a great place to get breakfast, which they serve all day from opening to close.
Awesome all-day breakfast menu here at Soho Park. I don't know why, but there is something really fun about having breakfast for lunch. I ordered the breakfast croissant sandwich, which was really really good. I haven't had a lot of croissant sandwiches in my life, but this was definitely the best one that I ever had!
Awesome staff! We asked with no warning whatsoever to requisition their sound system on the 3rd floor for our business lunch, and they very graciously agreed on the spot and showed us how to connect. Food was excellent. Try the burgers! And the all-day happy hour which they have running made everything a little more fun on this overcast day.
Lovely place with delicious home-cooked style food. The burgers we ordered were outstanding, and used fresh, good-quality ingredients. My husband especially liked his bacon-brie burger, with a side of really well-made onion rings. This is definitely one of the better restaurants on this stretch of 8th Avenue.
The chicken tenders here are actually better than other restaurants which are solely dedicated to chicken tenders/fingers lol. Very good food, nice green and gardeny environment, and polite service. Overall a good pick if you're around Times Square.
We came here on the recommendation of a friend who lives nearby, and had a great lunch with happy hour margaritas. Great deal and nice vibe up on the outdoor garden they have on their second floor. We ordered burgers and they were both excellent. BBQ bourbon burger and bacon-brie burger, both are definitely recommended.
Enjoyable place to stop and take a break if you are in the Times Square area. Restaurants around here usually just cater to tourists, but Soho Park has a pretty big office worker and local crowd, which is definitely a good sign. Great all-day happy hour, which we didn't see elsewhere nearby.
Soho Park is one of my regular places for lunch or drinks after works. The environment is really nice, especially in the patio they have on the 2nd floor, and the food is always freshly made and tasty. Servers are friendly and always quick when you ask them for something.
Wonderful outdoor spaces here and a facade with windows that all fold open. Great to feel the breeze on a nice day and have a drink and some apps. I definitely recommend the Southern Fried Pickles to go with any beer.
Fun and casual place for groups! Our group of 10 was seated right away with no problem even though a few members arrived late, and the staff couldn't have been nicer during our entire stay. Great drinks and very reasonably priced food.
8th Avenue is not the best street for food, but Soho Park is definitely an exception. Everytime we have come here, we've enjoyed the food and the ambiance. Their all-day breakfast and brunch are really standouts, but everything our group tried was good. Can definitely recommend here for a casual and pleasant brunch or dinner.
My husband works nearby, and we don't live far away, so we come here a lot with our kids. Very nice staff, big place with a beautiful garden, and my sons love the burgers and fried items so much! There is an all-day happy hour which is also really nice to relax while we are there.
