SoHo Park - Hell's Kitchen
SoHo Park features casual American Cuisine, all-day Breakfast and Brunch, a morning to 8pm Happy Hour, and a full line-up of beer, wine and specialty cocktails, all served in a warm, contemporary, garden-like atmosphere.
With three floors, two full bars, and an outdoor beer garden patio, SoHo Park offers guests a wide variety of options when planning special functions and get togethers.
Slow service, mediocre food, nice ambiance.
Sat for an hour. Got drink after 45 min. Never got food. Left. Terrible experience
Cute multi-story place that is somehow both cozy and big. Each of their floors is not very large, but if you put the seating on all three floors together, there is a lot of seating which means you basically don't need to worry about getting a table, even with a larger group. Food is delicious, reasonably priced, and service is friendly and without attitude.
This spot is one of my favorite places in midtown for a casual but delicious and affordable meal out. There's a beautiful winter garden on the 2nd floor, with string lights and cute seating and plants, as well as two bars on 2 different floors, and lots of other seating throughout. If you like American style gourmet breakfast and burgers, this is a nice option in the Times Square and Hell's Kitchen area.
Soho Park is very accommodating for groups! We made a last minute reservation, had more people than expected come, and were taken care of no problem. We even had tables and chairs moved around for us on their beautiful 2nd floor, as well as the sound level changed to our wishes. Overall it was a great experience. Wonderful food and great prices.
One of my standby options for a delicious and affordable breakfast and brunch in the neighborhood. Excellent all-American menu with an all day breakfast, great burgers, and really good drinks. The staff has always been beyond kind when I was there, and I appreciate the combination of price and good food that you get here. Will definitely recommend this place to anyone!
We were quite excited to try this new place with our group of 10. Unfortunately we were not pleased and almost left to go somewhere else. The man at the door directed us to a crowded bar area to be checked in. Awkward with 10 people. Then showed us upstarts to a covered deck area that had patio furniture and was ice cold. We weren’t given menus until we asked for them. They did put heaters on which made it better but we all stayed in our coats hats and scarves to eat. Not the nice dinner we planned. Food was surprisingly good but one meal was completely forgotten and came out when we all had finished eating. Not acceptable. They also asked us to move tables halfway through the meal so they could fit 20 more people in this tiny space. We said no! So overall unhappy and won’t be going back.
I love the chill vibe in here, with the garden decoration touches all over the place. Convenient location right by Times Square, but the prices are great and the food is surprisingly good. Add to that the all day happy hour and cheap margaritas, and you have yourself a great hangout place.
I really enjoyed my burger here, and will definitely recommend Soho Park to any burger lovers out there. The one I ordered - the smokehouse BBQ burger - was one of the best I've had in NYC. I'm surprised this restaurant isn't better known in burger circles actually. The menu is American comfort food so there appear to be a lot of other American classics here like lobster rolls, gourmet salads & sandwiches, and an intriguing all day breakfast menu.
Came in because we had been here a while back and decided to give it another try, this time for brunch. Overall we had a very pleasant experience. The food was delicious, which is the most important thing in a restaurant after all, the service was polite, and we also liked the ambiance. There was a super cute winter garden on the 2nd floor all decked out with Christmas lights where we sat. One of the nicest dining experiences we had for a little while, considering the very reasonable prices.
Nice peaceful place for a tasty and casual breakfast or brunch. I work nearby and sometimes come, and today decided to come on a weekend. There is a lot of seating thanks to this being a three floor place, so I never worry about reserving a table for a larger group even when they are busy. Burgers and the all-day breakfast are the menu specialties, and have always been great when I order. Nicest ambiance is on the 2nd floor, in the backyard patio which is covered and heated for the season.
Rude hostess. Zero atmosphere. Mediocre food. Won't be back. So many better places near the theater.
One of the best burgers I ever had, thank you Soho Park! The smokehouse burger, with bacon, onion rings, and bourbon bbq sauce, amazing! I will definitely be back! PS service was very accommodating. Several members of my party were very late, but we were still seated right away, at a table exactly the right size for our entire party.
Super chill place, great prices, amazing food, and a great all-day happy hour. The thing I liked most was the all-day breakfast menu, like they offer brunch 7 days a week, all day. The croissant sandwich and chicken & waffles were both great, especially the croissant sandwich. Beautiful environment for the prices too.
Dependable spot for the best burgers and assorted Americana style food you will find anywhere in Midtown. Excellent breakfast that's served into the night, high quality burger patties and toppings, and to top it off, a great all day happy hour. Wonderful hidden gem right off of Times Square.
Very cute and green restaurant and bar with a great hidden winter garden on the 2nd floor. The food is American comfort food, and we had the all-day breakfast. The croissant sandwich and the steak and eggs were both delicious and made to order. We noticed from their menu that they have a very generous all-day happy hour, so we will try that out next time!
We originally stumbled on this place and decided to try it out for breakfast. Since then we've been coming here on a regular basis, and haven't ever been disappointed by the food or service. Sweet staff and the food is much better than similarly priced places in this expensive and touristy part of the city.
Good breakfast offering at a competitive price. NYC tends to be expensive, especially this part of the city, but Soho Park seemed like it was a pretty good deal. The breakfast was pretty much the same price as the cheaper places in the neighborhood, but the environment and food quality were both very good. Check out the covered patio on the 2nd floor, it's really nice.
I love the covered winter garden they have here. You would never know it from the street, but this is a really nice three floor place with lots of seating and cute decor. The drinks and food are great and the service is polite and lets you take your time to eat, without trying to push you out.
Soho Park is a reliable neighborhood bar and restaurant for those into American style comfort food. Think all day breakfast, gourmet burgers, lobster rolls, cobb salad, stuff like that. I'm a regular here and everything I get tends to be good to great, for the prices they charge. There's a sweet all day happy hour too, so for those that want a liquid lunch, this is a good place.
Too noisy, food was average and expensive for what’s worth.
Beautiful yet affordable place, especially the 2nd floor which has an amazing winter garden in the back. Comfort food American menu with something for everyone (at least in our group), with prices that are like what you will find in the diners in midtown. All day happy hour also hits the spot. We had the Soho Park draft which was great.
We had the best bbq burger and steak and eggs here today! It's cool that they offer an all-day breakfast menu throughout the day. The burger was with a bourbon-based bbq sauce, and a big fat onion ring as a topping. I can definitely recommend that one. Cute place and lots of seating if you are with a group.
This spot is great for breakfast. Every time I come the food is delicious, the staff is nice and without attitude, and the check at the end of the meal is less than I would get at most other places around here. If you like breakfast, do yourself a favor and check Soho Park out. They serve breakfast all day so you don't even need to come in the morning lol.
Some of the best French Toast and Chicken and Waffles you will find at an affordable price in the entire city. French Toast came with cinnamon cream and berry preserves, along with the usual maple syrup. Chicken and Waffles had home made waffles and breaded fried chicken. I like the seasonal decorations here and there is always plenty of space.
Fun and casual place for brunch on a weekend morning. Our server was very polite and friendly, I forgot her name but she was taking care of us on the 2nd floor. There are three floors here, all different from one another. We enjoyed our brunch entrees, as well as pitchers of rum punch, which were excellent. Nice music too. Overall this is a good deal right off of Times Square, and in the middle of the Theater District.
We had a great brunch here with a party of people that ended up being larger than we originally reserved for. The staff were very nice on a Sunday morning and made sure all of us were seated together on the 2nd floor, which has a beautiful covered garden in the back with hanging lights and plants. Everything we ordered was good, I personally really liked my chicken and waffles. The chicken was well-breaded and perfectly cooked, and the waffles were home made. Prices were really good for the area and for the quality of the food and environment.
Why bother taking reservations? I made reservations here because we were going to a show at the New World Theater down the block. We wanted a quick bite, nothing special.
First off have you ever heard of waiting at a podium for ten minutes for the hostess? We were second in line. She finally shows up and brings the first party to their table. Then she disappears again. She knew we were waiting and she actually saw us standing there but went to do another chore. When she finally comes back she tries to stick us at a table which is just there by the door. Where you would put a walk in. After we refused to sit there we were brought to the second floor. A bunch of tables available so I don’t get it.
I’m not one to complain but the place is shabby for the prices they charge. Tiles ripped off the stairs. The burgers are not cheap and don’t come with a side of fries. How much do a few French fries cost?
Next time I’ll just plan on eating earlier and not worry being close to the theater. Such a shame because it’s in a good location.
Had a simple brunch items. Service and food were good. Was walking distance to theaters but not overly cramped. The hash browns were the best ones I have ever had. Very clean restrooms which is rare in NYC.
One of the better looking restaurants on 9th Avenue and in the Theater District. They have a beautiful covered winter garden on the 2nd floor, a lot of space for parties and events, and the staff are very accommodating and polite regarding requests. Food is good, and also a good value, especially the brunches and the burger menu.
This is a great restaurant if you have a group you need a lot of seats. The food is consistently good, the ambiance is cute and gardeny, and there is a lot of seating spread out over three floors, so you can be pretty sure they have space for you.
Soho Park has really great burgers so if you're around and are in the mood for a burger, this is a good place for you. The prices are not high, the burgers are pretty big (but not huge), with good quality meat from a famous local butcher called Pat Lafrieda, and interesting and inventive toppings. The atmosphere is nice too, overall it's a really awesome place where you get a lot for your money.
Very reliable spot near Times Square for some delicious food that won't break your bank. I come here regularly and love all their breakfast and brunch menu entrees, which they make the entire day from morning to night. It's fun to come in for drinks and get chicken & waffles or French Toast.
Nice spot for breakfast and lunch. They serve an excellent all-day breakfast menu here, in addition to very good burgers and fried items. The interior decor is nice and this is one of the better done places in the area. Prices are very reasonable, almost diner-esque. Try to get a seat on the 2nd floor, it's the nicest part of the restaurant, with a beautiful covered patio in the back, perfect for this time of year.
I love the garden theme here, and the winter garden on the 2nd floor is absolutely beautiful. Food was quite good, better than I expected in what is kind of a tourist area. Really neat that they offer breakfast and brunch all day from opening to close. If you are in Times Square, this is definitely a good choice for an inexpensive meal.
Great burger and fried pickles! In fact one of the best burgers I've ever had. I've never had fried pickles before, but enjoyed the ones I got here. They were cut in thin slices, and had a really interesting taste that I definitely want to get again. Pleasant looking restaurant with a lot of seating, so you can be sure to get a table no matter how large your group.
Had a great breakfast here. If you like a classic American style breakfast at great prices, Soho Park is definitely a good choice. I like the vibe they have with the modern but casual and kind of gardeny interior decor, and the service was polite and without attitude. I stayed as long as I liked, and didn't feel rushed to leave, which is nice.
We stumbled upon this place initially but now we come regularly. The reason I like here is the value - the menu is priced like a diner but the food quality is so much better. Food is always made fresh to order, and the ingredients seem quite good. The environment is also really nice for the price. There's a covered garden in the back, two full bars, TVs playing ESPN, all day happy hour, overall it's just a good vibe and value.
Very pleasant staff took care of us, even though a member of our party came very late. This is a 3 floor restaurant, so even if it is busy, you can be pretty sure about finding a table. Each floor is not so big, so the restaurant has a lot of seating, but is cozy as well. Not expensive at all, especially for what you get. One of the best deals in this part of the city.
Really cute place on 8th Avenue. There's a lot of light from all the French doors and the winter garden patio in the back. Food was good and pretty inexpensive. Our favorite was the breakfast croissant sandwich with hash brown, which is part of their all day breakfast offering. There's a ton of seating spread out over three very different floors, with an elevator if you don't feel like climbing the stairs.
