    Not our first time. As always the service was excellent. Made feel very welcome. The waiter even remembered us from the last time, and gave us complimentary oysters. Quality of the food is exceptional. The restaurant has a lovely atmosphere with plenty of space between tables. Will definitely be going back.

    Great food and excellent service. Scallops were perfectly prepared. I had the sea bass it was an excellent dish! The food was plated so artistically. Outstanding restaurant!

    Great restaurant, the staff were excellent, Jesus in particular treated us so well. Lovely extra touches, such a little plate for Father's Day for my Dad. Food was good, wine was good- all in all will be back!

    It was a special occasion and it did not disappoint, food was delicious, there is a variety to choose from, inexpensive to expensive depending on your budget. Service is very attentive but not intrusive

    We had an amazing night in Sole. The food and wine tasted superb. I had the scallops with pea purée for a starter and monkfish for main. Wow! And my dining companions all thoroughly enjoyed their food too. The steaks were cooked to perfection and all the food was hot. The waiting staff were friendly and good craic. No complaints at all. It is a bit pricy but we knew that before we booked and as it was for a special occasion we didn’t mind. We’d definitely return.

    Second visit to Sole. We had the special - Turbot with asparagus and potatoes in a caper sauce. Cooked to perfection and seasoned well. We ordered two of each type of oyster. The Connemara oysters were the best. Had to order more. Delicious fresh food, attentive service and great location.

    We had a wonderful experience at Sole. Our server Jesus was fantastic! The starters were amazing-we had grilled oysters and grilled prawns. House specialty Dover Sole did not disappoint. Several fine choices for non-fish lovers. Definitely a must during your visit to Dublin!

    We booked a table for 6.45 and opted for the tasting menu, they would not serve us as they said the needed the table back for 9. We finished eating at 10 with no delays. They apologised but bad feeling. Bill was €675.00 for 4. That's ok but we would have preferred full menu.

    Ante was one of the best waiters we have had. He knew the menu and could make recommendations, was engaging, helpful and had a good sense of humour. All the staff was attentive and delivered promptly. The food was amazing. Everyone was delighted. The menu had breadth for lots of different price points. I would highly recommend Sole Seafood!!!

    Because I booked the day before, we could only get a reservation at the bar But it turned out that there are clear dividers every 2 chairs, so that it was actually quite private and we were entertained by the bar activity. Nice and bright, spacious Food was very good although our portions of salmon were a bit meagre Overall though a good experience

    In amongst the hustle and bustle of Temple Bar and Trinity Street in the centre of Dublin we found this Oasis. The minute you walk in the door you know you are somewhere special. The staff where very attentive and pleasant throughout. The food was outstanding. We were on a business trip but there were also many couples and family groups enjoying there dinner here.

    We were a family of four adults celebrating a graduation. The early bird menu offered great choice and we were very happy with our meal. Service was very good. Jesus,our waiter recommended an excellent Spanish wine which complimented dinner and we thoroughly enjoyed our evening at Sole.

    One of THE best meals. I booked for my husbands birthday, I emailed ahead and was welcomed with smiles and them all wishing him a very happy birthday. The waitress was so friendly and talked us through the options. Very good options and decent pricing. we even tried oysters and was explained how to eat them which was great! The whole meal was just unreal and such good good quality. I would highly recommend this place if you are celebrating something special.

    If you want to eat at the best fish and seafood restaurant that Dublin has to offer then look no further than SOLE. Celebrating my wife's birthday while on holiday certainly raised the game. Staff were efficient, knowledgeable, friendly and hard working. Our waiter Ante made us immediately welcome and his knowledge of the restaurants menu and specials was excellent. Our food was an absolute delight for all of the courses, oysters, monkfish, scallops, we al. Must make sure that this is the first booking when we return. It must be noted that you can't just turn up, booking is essential Go on spoil yourself, it's well worth the cost

    Superb seafood restaurant - we were seated at a high top in the bar area (if you were older you might want to specify a lower table which I had booked but we were easy). Interesting space, nice looking bar and very charming staff. Thiago from Brazil was our waiter and he was great - they were all just lovely! We had oysters to start - delicious, delicate flavored briny range of oysters served on a bed of ice and seaweed. No need to add more than a drop of lemon. Also tried grilled oysters which were just sublime. I had the seabass in a coconut and limegrass (?) broth with some sweet potato - excellent. Other guests had the monkfish and the coquilles St. Jacques which they both raved over. We managed to squeeze in dessert - decadent chocolate brownie with Baileys icecream. Had a lovely bottle of Louis Jadot which was excellent value and delicious. Superb meal - definitely deserves the European Seafood restaurant of the year awards it has won and more! Great evening. You definitely need a reservation - we saw loads of drop ins being turned away.

    We arrived slightly late due to traffic and wasn’t a problem for front of house but after that it went downhill. Our server was not up to the task , we’d to ask repeatedly for our drinks throughout the meal and our red arrived the same time as our steaks , unopened , he also opened the Prosecco with a cork screw ( a first for me ) both steaks came out overcooked , the fillet to such a degree it had to be returned it was handled well but 15 mins for a rare fillet including resting is a bit much so we asked for it to be butterflied and it came out perfect The bill was deducted accordingly without being asked but it was a disappointing evening overall ! I was expecting a lot more considering I’d been rang , texted and emailed in the 24 hours beforehand to confirm our booking so I believed tables were in high demand , now I wonder why ?? On a separate note I was in the bathroom when an hourly check was done , @7pm , the door was opened and the staff member signed the sheet while standing on an open used hand towel ......... and walked out , that was the evening in a nutshell , going through the motions but not really caring
