Solera - La Concha
Solera is located in La Concha hotel/resort - more or less in the middle of the complex - with an atrium courtyard for semi-outdoor seating. The staff were very friendly and attentive. Our server was happy to give many recommendations on things to do and places to see when asked.
The food was good - I had the Churrasco wrap and my gf had the fish tacos (with mahi mahi as the catch of the day). Both were good but the hot sauce - which had this tangy-ness to it not found in many hot sauces, trust me, I've tried A LOT - was delicious.
The prices were a bit high for what you get, but I attribute that to being in an upscale and touristy hotel.
Jose was great! Friendly and professional!!
The restaurant accepted and confirmed the reservation, however did not honor it, due to the NYE festivities according to them. Thete was no effort made to accomodate us somewhere else, or invite us back.
They did not accept open table reservation
Arrived on a long flight to Puerto Rico. Looked forward to a New Years dinner. Arrived 15 mins early for our reservation only to be told it wouldn’t be honored due to a last minute private party. They would not help us find alternative dining so hard to come by. Shoddy, horrible, awful. The whole resort was cheap and tacky looking. Stay away. Horrid.
It wasn’t open. So we couldn’t try it.
