Food took to long to come out
Nunca nos atendieron, los meseros nos ignoraban, que pésimo servicio !!!
Great customer service !
Very relaxing atmosphere!
Service was extremely poor. To the point me and my party left the restaurant to find another one.
When you arrived, there is no one to greet you, people just sit wherever they want. You have to order trough a QR code, no one explains this. Drinks and food are seriously overpriced. The only appetizer worth ordering are the nachos.
They automatically add a 15% tip, even when the service did not live up to expectations due to the slowness of the servers.
WORST. PLACE. EVER. RUDE OBNOXIOUS PRETENTIOUS PLACE. TOTAL LACK OF CUSTOMER SERVICE. MADE RESERVATIONS & DID NOT HONOR. WAS LIED TO BY CHRISTINA WHO SAID SHE WAS GOING TO GET INTO THE RESTAURANT INSIDE THE LA CONCHA HOTEL & NEVER SHOWED UP. HAD LARGE FAKE PSEUDO BOUNCER GUY BE A JERK. WAS BULLIED BY & SURROUNDED BY 5 MEN FOR 2 PETITE WOMAN. DON’T WASTE YOUR MONEY THERE!
We got there and they told us they cannot accommodate our reservation because they no longer work with open table and they only accommodate hotel guests. It was extremely frustrating since we could not get in anywhere else because of the curfew.
Hotel guards wouldn't let us in despite having made a dinner reservation. We had a delicious meal across the street instead at Waiters.
When we reached to the location.m they told us that we could not come in. So we ended up having to look for another place to eat which was nearly impossible due to the fact that all restaurants were fully booked because of the curfew. Hence why I made the reservation. Long story short. Very disappointed!
Beautiful spot. Service was very slow - 20 minutes before anyone came to our table after seating. Overcooked appetizer and meal - calamari was like chewing gum and steak was charred (ordered medium). Pricey for what was received.
Burger was cooked ok.
Would not go back.
Great location, and beautiful ambience. The waitstaff was super attentive and extremely efficient. I was grateful to find a nice casual place to dine outdoors for the evening.
salad was nice but prefer to leave chick peas unfried-
I showed up with my reservation and they didn’t let me in. It is impossible to get a table in San Juan without a reservation right now, so I missed dinner because solera wouldn’t honor my reservation. Not a very good way to do business.
I made reservations and still wasn’t seated I think it was a race thing because a lot of people who was my color was seated.
We made a reservation days beforehand and then showed up but they wouldn't let us in the restaurant. They said due to covid they were only allowing hotel guests into the restaurant. This would have been totally fine if they had called or emailed us to give us a heads up. Instead we drove 45 minutes into the city and they wouldn't seat us. No apology or anything. Very frustrating experience.
Don’t bother. They only let you eat if you are a guest of the hotel but they decided not to let you know ahead of time. So after a $60 uber to get there, we were turned away and sent to a restaurant next door that was pretty bad. It seems easy enough to update the app to let you know before you book but they chose not to.
This wasn't my first time visiting. I visited for Thanksgiving and at that time the food was subpar. I decided to give it another chance because the view is top tier, and I must say, I was NOT disappointed.
The view, our server and the food were all excellent!
Great food and good service until it got busy and then our waiter disappeared (it’s cool, he was super nice). Music was loud and not my vibe but I can imagine some customers would like it.
Service and ambience were exceptional. For the price; the food was not up to our expectations.
Brunch was not actually at Solera but at a different restaurant in the hotel that honored our reservation. There was a lot of confusion figuring out where we had to go. Once we found the new location, it was not the poolside atmosphere we had in mind. Service was very slow. The waitress spilled our drinks. Kitchen didn’t pay attention to dietary restrictions we mentioned while ordering. My pancakes were burnt. Horrible experience
Food was great! Vibe was relaxing by the pool. Spanish music playing sealed it all.
It was a good place. Excellent music and food. And the service was great
Very nice, food was good. We ordered a bottled of champagne and enjoyed the beautiful view.
Had drinks and food out by the pool. Music and service was great as well as the food. Can’t wait to go back!
Our original server wasn’t present and we were left without a server for a while. We managed to flag down Neyali who was so wonderful and accommodating— 10/10 would recommend her
Carlos the server was wonderful. Very accommodating!!
We didn’t even get served. Walked in the hotel and directed me to the doors that lead to the pool. Hostess referred to me going upstairs instead. Waited for another hostess to tell me I came to the wrong side and to go to the pool entrance again. I went and told him what was said so he let me into the pool area. There’s no hostess stand and no one was able to serve my Husband and I. We ended up seating ourselves by the pool. We sat and waited from 845 to 915. A server from another table looked at us and didn’t even bother to ask if we needed help. It was our last night in San Juan, my husbands birthday and Valentine’s Day. You can see my frustration. Thanks for nothing.
We showed up to our reservation fighting all the traffic. After being scanned for temp and given hand sanitizer tye front door guy checked my reservation. He told is where to go. We were greeted by another guy at another door. He just said go in. We asked a waiter and he said just sit anywhere. So we sat by a table by the pool (made sense because our reservation said pool side). After 45 mins of waiting there we walked out. As we are walking out I saw a paper sitting on the podium of the guy at the door saying that Valentines day dinner was moved to another restaurant. Long story short, no dinner for us on Valentines day. Worst experience.
Kitchen and wait staff were laughably unprepared for the Valentine's day dinner crowd. With all hands on deck, it took 2 hours before our desert came out. The funny part was that our entrees still hadn't come out. Groups began walking out around 10 PM after arriving at 8 PM.
We was with a large party we was seated at 7:45pm food started to come out around 9:30pm cold to touch under served without drinks. It was a fixed Valentine's Day menu so everything was preset we don't understand why things were taking so long to come out when the menu was set it wasn't like people were ordering random things and had to give the cooks and time to get adjusted and service etc, Everything was set prior to coming there. It was also extremely cold inside of the restaurant everybody's wearing shorts and t-shirts due to the fact that you're in Puerto Rico and it was freezing maybe about 50° inside everybody was cold. I admit the manager was patient and tried her best to accommodate us but the service was out of her control.I would say because of the city shutting down at 11:00pm due to curfew everyone who didn't eat at that time was concerned on how we were going to get food because of the city shutting down at that time so we got up n left to look for food in surrounding area.
Valentines Dinner in La Perla was awesome! The live music and atmosphere was phenomenal!
It was freezing . Everyone was shivering on Vday .
I would give less ⭐️ if the service was terrible but our server was actually good. Food is overpriced for what they are. They taste decent. A little on the salty side. Serving amount is small, for brunch or lunch. Drinks are far from strong. Overpriced for artificial flavoring.
We weren’t allowed to exit to the “public beach”. Seating close to the pool which should be the highlight of the place is not allowed if you’re not staying in the hotel. Kinda disappointed, I planned to have a good day by this “pool bar” next to “the beach!” Only few people reserve and spend as much as we did but yeah. Whatever. Not blaming the workers for doing their jobs but I don’t think that it’s well managed. There was no host to seat and inform guests either.
The menu has diminished extensively because if COVID. They now only serve a selection of tapas. Drinks were ordered and never arrived. After 15 minutes of waiting we decided to leave and pay for the drink if they were ready yet. Lo and behold...they were ready but were completely watered down. The sangria tasted like a jolly rancher and the Bloody Mary was the worst ever. So what was the damage after all this? $31. Should’ve just walked out.
Obvious lack of management trickled down to no service at all. The two waiters onsite where noticable over worked for the number of costumers at the restaurant. Total disappointment
They offer here one price for Bruce but is nit the price in there is not 25 pp
Good food, nice selection of choices, gorgeous views. Fast and friendly service.
