   Manager wanted the table back in 2 hours, so they literally asked me to leave with my 4 Friends because they had a Big party booking. They should have informed about this during my booking so I could have booked another restaurant. Waitress was really in a hurry forcing us to choose our drinks quickly, always making comments that we only had 1 hour left! Until I Lost my patient and had a Big argument with her saying that I'm 8 months pregnant and I need to have my dinner in peace with my Friends. That's a pity because myself and my husband used to be regular Sophie’s costumers before covid. Food was great by the way...

   Disappointed re selection of cocktails and food was so so Staff serving tables run off their feet Bar staff so so but plenty of them behind the counter Pity no stools at bar to enjoy a drink beforehand as once u sat at the table staff wanted to take your order Enjoyed the experience but poor value for money in my opinion As expensive as the ivy but ivy streets ahead on every level Glad we went though

   Food wasn’t good at all and very overpriced. Lovely looking restaurant nice staff but the food was not good at all. Paid 35 quid for a steak and I genuinely wouldn’t give it to my dog.

    Made an advanced reservation via Open Table; no problem with seating. Beautiful view of Dublin and sunset. Great service - had to ask for water refills and Parmesan on the pasta but that was fine. Could’ve used a few more spices in the entrees. The risotto and park/tarragon fries were amazing. Definitely will return.

    An unexpected Gem. The location on entry does not prepare you for the 5th floor restaurant with a view. Terriffic modern environment with magnificent vista out across Dublin. Food ex Ellen service to match and the view finishes the package Will return

    Nice food, service and ambience. They even served a nice dessert for my birthday out of surprise! Also had a couple of drinks at the rooftop, which is very cosy and nice ambience. I would definitely recommend.

    The service was a bit lax, we had to wait a while initially and had to follow up on items ordered a few times. It wasn't overly busy so expected service to be better though appreciate getting staff is a challenge for lots of businesses

    Food was just awful from starter to mains chips had so much salt on them they we’re uneaten one mains was a steak and was eaten the chicken dish swimming in a rich gravy and was sickly and hake had no flavour sause was just a muscle water we will never eat there again toilets were so dirty best part was the swings

    An evening of two halves, first part of the evening the service was attentive and fast, after a time we struggled to grab any attention and service. Finally live music arrived and we couldn’t make ourselves heard to each other and we cut short our meal and left.

    Amazing food and amazing setting. We went for my mam birthday and she loved it food was lovely, and staff were so friendly and nice. We had a lovely table by the window with amazing views and then staff even brought her out a piece of ice cream with a candle. Was lovely evening will definitely be back and highly recommend.

    We booked into Sophie's at 8am on our first morning before heading off to the Guiness factory. We were the first visitors so seated and served promptly. The food was tasty, hot and as expected. Overall, a freat experience.

    Great views terrible food. Vegetarian main was cous cous for 22 euro or pizza. Pizza was wet and slimy had to send it back it was inedible. Friends food also very poor. Views not worth being hungry!

    Requested a birthday thing, and when I asked about it was completely ignored. Also the service was awfully slow. Our drinks were empty for ages before we were asked would we like one or even another. Food took very long to come too.

    The food was excessively rich and greasy. Ordered grilled mediterranean vegetables and they were drowned in oil and vinegar. The gnocchi for the main course were well made but very greasy and had clearly been sitting under the heat lamp for a while as the cheese had split and was starting to congeal. The view is great, the ambience was nice and the service was good.

    From the moment we arrived to the end of the dinner we were being rushed to leave the table, which was very uncomfortable. We finished the dinner and no one asked if we would like to order desserts and the waiter brought the bill straight way, before we requested it. The food was ok.

    Went to sophies last night for the first time for my husbands birthday and it was just amazing, the staff were so nice, very attentive. We had an amazing seat and view of the city. The food was excellent and we can't wait to go back.

    We went to Sophie’s to celebrate my friend’s last night in Dublin. The food and drinks were lovely as always. We did have a long wait for our table as it was a busy night and they were a bit understaffed, but the staff were very transparent and kind about it and even gave us a round complimentary drinks as an apology. Once we sat down and ordered the food came very quickly. The pizza and cocktails were delicious and the vibe at Sophie’s is always amazing! I’ll definitely be going back and recommending Sophie’s despite the long wait we had as everyone we spoke to was so nice and handled it very well!

    Hey guys, I never normally complain but I work as a restaurant manager myself and I have to say I was thoroughly disappointed. From the start we arrived for our 8:30 reservation and were told of a minor delay , we opted for a drink at the bar to wait and were frustrated the wait was 30 minutes. Once seated we promptly ordered at 9:05 , 45 minutes after the original booking! Our food failed to arrive until 10:15 which was extremely frustrating as we had another booking at 10:45 for another venue to celebrate our graduation. In-between the wait for the food we had no communication from staff about the delay until we asked at 9:50. One waitress Amy was incredibly helpful throughout , however another staff member, a taller waitress told us “it’s not her fault” when we asked about the wait, she also stated extra dipping were a €1 each and said they had no garlic Mayo , only ketchup. Again Amy corrected this and got us the dip free of charge. All in all, I was incredibly let down by the whole experience, I’d heard great things about the restaurant but feel our whole graduation dinner was ruined and it put a damper on the whole day.
