Our dinner was amazing as usual. Steak perfectly cooked and seasoned. Their home made BBQ sauce is to die for. We also tried the new appetiser Beef Carpaccio and it was fantastic. This is our neighbourhood favourite restaurant and we do and will keep coming back. Service was superb and always is! Thank youuuuuu!
Sophie's Steakhouse Soho:
A lovely selection of steaks, burgers and veggie treats. Especially enjoyed the beetroot hummus.
They open the whole front of the building on summer days for wonderfully airy and chilled ambience in the heart of the West End.
Such a good meal. Steak cooked to perfection again! Definitely will return again and again.
Food was excellent and the staff knew what they were talking about when advising on the portions and steaks. Great night!
Really good food. First cote de boeuf came over done. They very kindly removed it and brought a new perfect one, no problems.
We have been to Sophie's before and because we enjoyed it, returned for another meal.
We were not disappointed.
My brother and his wife are food guru's and particularly like steak. The fact that they raved about their meal says it all.
The staff were lovely and fun.
Truly fantastic. Meat quality. Side dishes. Service. We keep coming back and will continue to come back.
Great steak house with excellent service. Steak was lovely.
I have been to Sophie’s steakhouse on many occasions.every time I was happy with the quality of food but this time I was very disappointed.the quality of ribeye steak was very poor it was a very thin cut.i asked for medium cook but it was still quite bloody and very chewy .the price £ 25 for bad quality steak with no sides it’s very high .
Great food although very busy on Father's Day. Service was a bit slow
Overall enjoyed dinner here
Food average not worth the price. Fathers Day dinner ruined by staff.
It was awesome
We had a very nice, dedicated and courteous service, we think her name was Angelique. Thank you very much for a very nice lunch
We love to go to Sophie’s and in this occasion my husband and I took my mum there for dinner. The staff is really friendly and nice and the food as always delicious. We love to have a proper meat steak but I guess my fav dish is the tuna ones!
We will go back soon for sure.
Food was excellent! A bit pricey but steak was the best in London.
This place has become very average, steaks are ok but starter was lacklustre and deserts an abomination. Service in particular very poor staff seemed more interested in chatting to some friends at the bar than actually paying attention to customers. Avoid there is way better for the price point.
I all the jus of the “côte de boeuf” poured on my arm when clearing the table.
No one apologised to me even though that they noticed
Truly wonderful meat experience. Service was exceptional . Also a lot of good looking people were eating in the restaurant. ❤️
Great food, ambience and service. The steak was perfectly cooked.
We visited for dinner two night running it was so good. Great menu and service. Food excellent.
Really helpful, professional staff. Steak, frites delicious and tender. Overall a great evening catching up with a friend
The restaurant was lovely, we wasnt rushed could of stayed their ages.. Aimee our waiter was lovely and very attentive. The food was beyond amazing!! I had a burger and my boyfriend had a steak with sides.. it was made to perfection!.
Truly lovely and relaxing Sunday dinner, great quality meat, well prepared side dishes, delicious desserts in a casual no fuss and hospitable atmosphere. What else can we ask for?
Great to find a steak restaurant that actually cooks your steak the way you like it. As a fan of “rare” or “medium rare”, most places overlook the steak. Great and friendly service at the right pace.
Superb service from our waitress (blonde hair, sorry didn’t catch name!) and food outstanding
Really nice venue off the beaten track and therefore no tourists and great atmosphere
Convenient location for me. Food is fine, service too. Informal setting, loud when full. "Down the middle" sort of establishment. Very good value, pub-like ambience around bar.
The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and decor (specially near the bar and windows), but the portions were tiny for the price and the service was extremely poor - nobody checked on us once throughout our meal so we had to walk to the bar to ask if we could order something, and then had to do the same to ask for the bill at the end of the meal (and then to pay). With decent service, Sophie's could really improve diners' overall impression.
Good burgers and steak, but wasn't sure about the advertised "beef dripping chips"....they were just normal chips.
Wonderful cocktails. So pleased Sophie's is child friendly at lunch time too.
Great beef salad, attentive service, nice table set up.
The food was lovely, despite not having the full kids menu, and several mistakes being made in terms of what we had ordered and how our steaks were cooked. But the service was awful, there was no engagement, we had to ask several times for drinks and even for sauce. Barely anyone spoke to us, we had to chase everything. No one even said bye as we left, and after spending £300 (4 adults and 2 children) and paying the “discretionary” service charge of 12.5% you kindly added to our bill we expected much better service.
Been here previously for a steak, which was fine, though this time I had the Lamb Sunday roast (£18), which was unfortunately underwhelming.
Not substantial and quite subpar. I’ve had better roasts at pubs. Also, I was expecting regular gravy as the board stated as such. However, it is served w/ mint gravy, which I think is an unnecessary spin as most people that have a roast expect a classic one unless otherwise specified. Additionally, there was a short delay on the Yorkshire Pudding, which seemed avoidable.
The staff were pleasant, atmosphere okay. I wouldn’t return unless the menu improved.
Always great visiting Sophies and reliably good food and service.
A great place to eat however feeling a little dated and waitress didnt ask if we should add in "extras" which when food arrived it was clear were needed
Took my boyfriend there for a birthday dinner - felt that the staff pushed us through then were disinterested in up when it can time to pay. Food was average and small portions.
We are visiting london and We do go to this restaurant almost every trip when we are in London 3-4 times a year.
Food was actually good , and the gentleman who served us provided good service
However , after we ate and paid , we walked out of the restaurant , one waiter ( he didn’t serve us ) came out and asked if I paid the meal , with customers sitting outside the restaurant and the other waiter outside , I just felt it was very rude . He could have asked his colleague before running out to question me, which didn’t make us feel very nice
Wonderful, great food, great service
We really enjoyed the food and the ambience and the waiter was charming
We had a wonderful Sunday lunch - all 6 hours of it. Great food and wine and friendly, efficient staff.
Best steak and atmosphere in town!!!! Great service nice environment all round.
