Semi-private dining available for larger groups.
Sat & Sun: 1pm-3pm
Great, creative food. The flavours are incredible. I have been twice now and always been excited to go back.
My father ordered the beef main, the taste was great, however the tenderness and quality of the beef was surprisingly the only let down of the whole experience - not a show stopper by all means though.
I will recommend this place to all of my friends too.
We went for the set lunch which was good value at £27 each
I went with friends for a casual lunch. The staff were very friendly and service was good. The pasta dishes we had were delicious as were the desserts.
Our group of 5 had been waiting to try Sorella for ages and it didn’t disappoint.
The tasting menu for all of us plus cocktails and wine turned out to be a fantastic evening.
The bread was good enough to turn even the most dedicated ketomaniac (thanks for the leftovers to take home) and we could’ve eaten the agnolotti all night.
The service was a great combination of relaxed and attentive, we didn’t feel rushed at all.
Thanks Sorella :)
Second time here, this time with friends who had not been before and who were extremely impressed. Excellent food and service. Will certainly go again.
We had a lovely chef’s tasting menu here for our wedding anniversary. Food was delicious. Staff were fantastic. They were more than happy to make adaptations given I am heavily pregnant, including making me up a non-alcoholic cocktail and several food substitutions. We will definitely return. The chairs could be a bit more comfortable (but I think that’s pregnancy for you) and given the stripped back walls and decor the restaurant is quite noisy so for some people that can be a distraction. Would recommend the truffle arancini balls, the pasta dishes and the fantastic chocolate pudding. A fantastic evening.
Stunning italian food.. we were treated like kings.. and dined like them. Delicious vegetarian options and truffle taggliatelli wonderful. Very good value vermentino too.. worth the long trip to clapham.
i thought the food lacked consistency. I thought the tasting menu was pretty average and there were no dishes served off the tasting menu that made me want to go back there.
I also ordered their signature pasta dish @ £16 which was truffle based, however the lemon completely overpowered the dish & the truffle was lost.
The music unfortunately was some kind of techno house which did not suit the restaurant. It was also really loud which ment people were having to shout across the tables.
All in all, I thought the experience was average and I wouldn’t recommend this restaurant to any of my future diners as I don’t believe the food is the star of this restaurant.
Check with the venue what they are actually serving. They advertised a menu that was not available, which meant my fiance couldn't enjoy his meal. He was really looking forward to the chicken or cod, which were no longer on the menu there so he didn't enjoy his meal. I was ill 2 hours after eating there and was the only one in your group that had sea bass. Therefore, our overall feeling was that it was a large disappointment for a lot of money. My parents enjoyed their dishes though.
I don't get out that often these days, so was pleasantly surprised by what I experienced at Sorella. Simply put, the best meal I've had in years.
Rich creamy, earthy sauce in the pasta (shared starter), and the best cooked and seasoned cut of lamb I think I've ever had (main course). The dessert was also scrummy.
Not a huge menu, but plenty of choice for most people.
The only downside for me was that we were on a cramped table, pressed against the bar, and the music being played was both odd, and a tad loud.
That said, what a meal. Excellent service too.
Very good overall (as opposed to outstanding) because of the music, the table and the old fashioned cutlery (Yes I know it's all the rage right now, but it wasn't great to use when I was 6 at my grandparent's house, and it hasn't got any better with time).
A brilliant discovery on my part, that I will definitely recommend to friends.
Sorella did not disappoint. The pasta dishes were exceptional. Presented on fabulous stoneware dishes. The secondis were also delicious and the puddings were very decadent. Service was super attentive. We had a lovely evening and could not fault this place at all.
Ok but we've recently come back from Tuscany and feel the menu could be a bit more true to Italian food. Nice atmosphere as expected but expensive for what you get and not OMG delicous more..."hmm interesting"
Absolutely phenomenal food - fantastic arancini, best bread I've ever eaten. Would absolutely recommend.
Fabulous find having read the article on Sorella in this month’s Olive magazine. Fantastic food and wonderful service. A fantastic evening.
First trip to Sorella and the food was amazing. Between the 2 of us we had some olives, arancini, bread, 2 antipata and 2 primi pasta dishes, which sadly was sufficient as I would have loved to have tried others!
nice environment, really good food, very good staff
Great Italian food. The set menu is a steal and highly recommended. Staff are very knowledgeable and helpful.
Excellent food, friendly service, great atmosphere.
Just brilliant - great food, beautiful interiors and a lovely atmosphere!
This was my second time to visit Sorella and it was as good as the first which is hard to do!
Great quality seasonal food expertly cooked in a casual atmosphere What’s not to like?
Great food. Eat at the dairy and were keen to try this. Fantastic food and service. Waiter was great. All good excellent.
Really delicious dinner on a fun and buzzy Saturday night. Our pasta dishes in particular were really good. We shared a tagliatelle with porchini mushroom and truffle and a pappardelle with pork and nduja - very tasty! We love the dairy, so very happy sorella is of the same quality! We will definitely come back!
Beautiful restaurant! We went for the Tasting menu which i would definitely recommend. Drinks are great and worth a try if you want something a little bit special. London is experiencing a heatwave so the only negative was how hot it was inside. Aircon didn't seem to be working and fans were very much needed but regardless, a lovely restaurant and the ambiance and staff were great.
Great restaurant.. Food really good. Service excellent and very friendly staff . Would definitely recommend.
The food was very mixed, with only three main courses, as opposed to pasta. The turbot was excellently cooked although it came with very chewy chard. The gnocchi were disappointingly bland. There was more salami than could be eaten by one person, as it was quite spicy and cut into large pieces, although obviously a sharing plate, still quite a challenge. The mackerel was marinated à la ceviche - although the menu oddly didn’t mention that - and it was good. Service was very good, if a little too fast. Good if unexciting wine list.
Genius food, outstanding friendly service, tasting menu extraordinary value
The small plates of arancini and olives were excellent and the pasta was very tasty. The only disappointment was the charred brassica which was a lump of cabbage. Overall the experience was very good.
Lovely atmosphere, friendly staff and of course delicious food with good sized portions. Great place to go.
My favourite restaurant and the best deserts ever!!
Food was very good but servicd seemed scripted. Downsides were; very hot, loud and “optional” charitable donation already added on top of service charge. Happy to donate to charity but shouldn’t be guilt tripped into donating. Weird end to a decent meal..
A selection of antipasti was all lovely, and the primi was delicious, especially the truffle linguine and the crab pasta. Quiet for Sunday lunch but very happy with the food
It was a birthday celebration which has gone totally wrong !
We went for the Chef's Tasting menu which flavours were expected to be better than delivered.
We found a piece of glass in the sauce served with gnocchi. Luckily nothing bad happened as we identified it early enough however, these mistakes should not happen in any restaurant as might carry serious consequences . This was a violation of basic health and safety rules that should have been followed.
We had big hopes for this place which were totally diminished.
Front of house staff were friendly and did all they could to apologise.
We had an absolutely delicious meal at Sorella and I have already recommended it to friends. The food was excellent - we opted for the very reasonably priced tasting menu which has so many delightful and interesting dishes on it that we were unable to select a favourite. The wine was also excellent and the staff were very pleasant. We left feeling extremely full and impressed!
Beautiful presentation and delicious food
Will definitely go again for a special occasion
My boyfriend left his sunglasses and within an hour they had called to let us know and let me collect them the following day.
Tasting menu absolutely brilliant. Only minus point was the temperature and can’t blame Sorella for heatwave!
Cosy and summery vibe all over. We loved the Mediterranean look not just for the food but for the nice colourful touches all over the rooms.
Happy/ friendly staff to welcome u in/out a big high five to the overall experience.
Can’t wait to go back with more friends to show them this little treasure in Clapham
Had a great time with my brother.
Food and wine was amazing.
Plus people are very friendly.
Sorella was fantastic from start to finish. Not only were they able to cater for gluten-free for the majority of the menu, but the staff were incredibly personable and helpful.
The waiter that served us was so charming that I forgot to tip and will definitely be going back to drop off a tip!
Food was insane, I can't explain how every bite was thoroughly worth it
We had several small dishes to start with and all were very good. The pasta dish was also very good but, if we were being very critical, we thought the gnocchi was a little bland. The staff were excellent and were sorry to hear that we were less than satisfied with one dish. They went out of their way to try to make up for it. Good selection of wines by the glass. Very good value for London and we would be more than happy to return.
