We had a delicious meal at Sorella this week. It was our first time there and we were all very impressed, both by the food and the service. They could not have been more accomodating in respect of my gluten free diet and offered several gluten free versions of what was on the menu, all of which were delicious. Waitress was amazing. Will be back.
Superb food that is fresh and seasonal. Not an extensive menu but one that is put together incredibly considerately
Great food and service, music far too loud.
We were over from Dublin and really enjoyed our meal. One bit of advice we both thought it was a bit cold temperature wise. Turn up the heat!!!
We have been going to The Dairy for years and wanted to give Sorella a try. Same style of small plates as The Dairy but focus on Italian food. All round very good- tasty food and wine and good service. My only complaint would be that the first food arrived almost immediately after our aperitif. Too many restaurants don’t give you time to enjoy your drink before eating! That apart, would recommend!
We went for the chef’s menu which is possibly where it all went wrong. It turned out to be poor value and I think the first three courses were straight from a packet, albeit a packet from a good quality Italian deli. The mackerel course was just plain odd. The staff rush around at a million miles an hour but not entirely sure why, stopping at the table to mutter only to rush off again. The dessert had no Italian connection whatsoever. I wasn’t crushed with disappointment but I’m just a bit over this type of style over substance dining.
Many creative dishes using freshest ingredients with added pickling/fermentations . Lovely combinations of flavours with some lovely pastas & good -mainly Italian- wine selection.
Top notch food, great service and lovely relaxed atmosphere
Fantastic food, really different to anything we’ve had before. Really friendly service and great atmosphere. Would recommend highly!
Whilst the food was really tasty - I'm not sure this style of small plates lends itself as well to the Italian menu. The pasta was delicious but just not big enough. I like the idea of sharing these types of dishes but actually, when you order a ragu - you want a proper bowl. The restaurant is lovely and I do think the menu could be great. I 'm just not sure it's a brave enough departure from The Dairy and The Manor. Truffle aranchini were amazing.
We all loved the make over and new Italian concept at Sorella. Staff were amazing and we were well looked after. We took our children who also loved the food and were made to feel very welcome.
Went during soft opening, and while it didn’t start well (we don’t do lunch menu until 1pm - which was not communicated at the time of booking), the food made up for it. Lots of small plates to try and a well appointed wine list.
Had an absolutely spectacular meal at Sorella. Opted for the chef's selection and enjoyed absolutely everything - from the truffle arancini to the affogatto.
Fantastic staff were friendly and knowledgeable, the Chefs menu had a great variety of courses and the wine was delicious.
My wife and I had an amazing time dining at newly opened Sorella. We have been fans of The Dairy and The Manor for some time and were delighted that Sorella met these high standards of dining. The real highlights of our meal were the crab languine and prosciutto/salami. We were also really impressed with the cooking of the venison and the wonderful fennel gelato pudding. Staff here were fantastic and the wine list was also rewarding.
