We had a fantastic evening. The food was really great
A surprise fun experience
Much more food than I was expecting on the set Sunday menu
Great afternoon
Staff very attentive and friendly. Good atmosphere.
Never disappoints. One of the best place to eat good food
Really great vibe and energy on a Saturday night. Food was delicious - especially enjoyed the desserts, which were a surprise star of the show. Highly recommended, and more proof you don't need to hit central London for excellent food and a special night out.
Delicious food for a good price! Second time being here and would go back for more
Lovely menu, food was presented very well and was really tasty. We will be going back again!
Antipasti. Very little squid in the squid dish. The ricotta which was generous. Tortellini were a bit solid and something in the dish was gritty. Quite small portions. The Ragu was good and portion more generous. Deserts were good
The pasta was gritty for all three guests. Not ideal
Valentines

Good food, really nice atmosphere and great service. Would go back if I wanted pasta in Clapham!
Nice and friendly staff and delicious food :) Small portions though...
Absolutely fantastic restaurant. The food and service are equal and amazing.
Celebrating a birthday with my Italian girlfriend. Overall a great dining experience for both of us.
We shared a few antipasti- the truffle arincini were wonderfully tasty and well cooked- many places seem to use truffle as a gimmick but the taste here was spot on. The charcuterie was great (love the pork and fennel). The ricotta with radicchio and blood orange was nice and fresh. Only comment would be that as an Italian my girlfriend, was use to a creamier, more flavoursome ricotta? Perhaps look at suppliers?
The pasta dishes were exceptional and generous. We had the pork nduja tagliatelle and the ox shin tortellini. Obvious skill and precision had gone into making them and I enjoyed greedily slurping them both up unapologetically.
We shared the monkfish as a second course, which is my favourite fish and so I was greatly looking forward to this. Thankfully, the fillet was cooked perfectly and the almond sauce complemented it beautifully. To be honest I’m not sure that the monks beard added much to the dish and possibly could be substituted for something else. Also, while I completely appreciate that monkfish is an expensive cut of fish, I’m not sure the roughly 200g fillet justified the almost £30 price tag- the plate just needed filling up somewhat.
The service was excellent. All servers were welcoming, friendly and polite the entire evening. Really nice surprise of bringing over a birthday celebration. Couple of mistakes of not having wine glasses but they were lovely. Also we were the last one there and there waited patiently and politely for us to finish our bottle.
Overall a wonderful meal, great cooking and wonderful service. Will definitely return. You made an Italian happy on her birthday!
Food and service outstanding as ever. Both the tagliatelle with pork and nduja rage and meringue with rhubarb were exceptional.
Fantastic evening as always - great food ( vegetarian as well as non vegetarian ).
Our guests loved Sorella.
Delicious & friendly thank you a wonderful evening.
Been wanting to go for ages since it changed from the manor and it did not disappoint. Food was off the charts, gnocchi was worldy. Great atmosphere and very well priced for the quality. Hard to find a fault.
Desserts were especially delicious and different, very reasonably priced restaurant.
Excellent food and very quick and attentive service
Terrible service, felt very very rushed with mains being brought out at the same time as the starter pastas which was very unusual. Basically made my Saturday night catch-up very stressful and not enjoyable at all. Initially told table needed to be returned at 8pm and was then reminded of this at 7:30pm. Very bad experience overall.
Quite excited on visiting Sorella, we were directed to a small table in a cramped and dark part of the restaurant. So dark that we couldn’t read the menu, the table was small so tricky to fit the wine with its glasses and water and menus and also had to be straddled due to its very odd legs. Food was good but menu invites sharing but also starter main and desert, so was quite confusing. The service was poor, the staff swept up the around the table next to us and as it was so close had to squeeze past our table while sweeping, making for an unpleasant experience. Throughout the service was abrupt and strange. Style over substance.
Last minute choice for early evening meal. We (3) arrived about 10 minutes before opening, no problems at all. Staff very welcoming, food and drink very reasonably priced. Service very friendly and attentive, staff do try hard. Started with a mix of cold and hot starters shared between us, very pleasant and well priced. 2 of us had pasta and one monkfish. Wine list short but well chosen. Overall good value for money and pleasant experience. Would go back if in the area.
Excellent food, wine and service. Sorry for staying so late!
Amazing food and good selection
Lovely food, lovely staff, and lovely wine. Only issue was that each course arrive immediately after the last
Had the Sunday tasting menu, 2nd time back. Great food
The menu is small and well put together. The pasta dishes were phenomenal and the veal was perfectly cooked.
I’d recommend trying a few things off the menu as the restaurant are very accommodating to people sharing dishes.
The downside was the lighting being quite dim but overall a fantastic night.
We love Sorrella and we go quite often these days. Their food is Michelin star level and the staff are attentive and nice.
The space is relaxed with a good vibe. Cosy but still.fine dining level of food.
Fabulous food. Very different. Had linguine with Cornish sardines which was delicious. Wine was a little pricey, would be good to have some cheaper options on the list.
It was okay. Food was over priced for portion sizes. No atmosphere by 10pm we were one of only 2 tables there and the music had been turned off. Service was very very quick, felt everything was very rushed. £130 for two people with the cheapest bottle of wine AND we'd eaten some food before we arrived!
The food is delicious in this friendly, neighbourhood restaurant. Try the homemade limoncello!
Excellent service, great food, good wine choice, nice vibey atmosphere. Will definitely be back.
Amazing food and a lovely setting. Staff were incredibly friendly and courteous.
Me and my girlfriend found this restaurant online and decided do give it a go, however we left really disappointed. The weitress serving us had no manners at all and kept on slamming the plates on our table or pushing us away when she needed to replace the cutlery. She served our wine holding the bottle from the TOP and spilling the wine everywhere without even apologising. My girlfriend ordered the truffle agnolotti and she received a plate of 5 (FIVE) empty tasteless pieces. After we complained to the manager, explaing that it was unfair to charge £18 for a plate of FIVE empty agnolotti she offered to replace it with a different dish. Unfortunately she forgot to take my plate away to keep it warm while they were cooking my girlfriend's dish so I had to eat it cold...
After we asked for the bill, we offered our feedback to the manager explaining all our disappointment however she replied that we could not expect a great service from them as they were only a brasserie. I found this comment really inappropriate as they are not a cheap restaurant and they could take a better care of their customers. The manager offered to take the service charge away from the bill however we refused as there was no point. To end this review I would reccomed to anyone reading this to go elsewhere as they are much better restaurants that for the same price (or less) will look after you a lot better.
Great food. I would highly recommend this restaurant.
Excellent Sunday lunch at £35pp. Super good value too. SO much food. Everything seasoned perfectly and the most beautiful tender lamb. Memorable meal.
Food and service top notch and a cool and quirky venue
