I took my dad here who is in his 70s and quite an outspoken character. I am always a little nervous when we arrive at a restaurant. Will they "get him" or will they end up offended when he starts complaining about the price of water etc... however our head waiter was just brilliant, he immediately clicked on to my dad's sense of outspoken tongue in cheek ways and made sure my dad had an amazing time. Thank you Mounir, and thank you to the Sosharu kitchen for serving up delicious food that my dad could not complain about (even though he tried to joke about the size of the plates, by the end of the (great value for money) tasting menu he was well and truly stuffed.
Amazing! One of my favourite restaurants in London.
Service absolutely excellent. Food was good, more vegetarian options would have been good.
Our service was shocking, waited over 30 minutes until we had a drinks menu, an hour until we ordered food.
Food was not explained when delivered and all dishes came at once. It was disappointingly bland, good presentation but lacked flavour, not clean, flabby.
Final dish came after we asked for the bill
Our voucher was not taken off the bill and had to ask again for that even though all staff were aware through booking and checking in at the restaurant.
Fair play to the manger, he took our feedback into account, removed the service charge and comp'd a sake. I hope they use the feedback
Food good. Service good. Food quantity tiny! Value for money not good.
Great food and nice staff, however we ordered the tasting menue and recieved the food in the wrong order not once but twice. Result; not really the expexted food experience and some problem with the wine paring.
Service a bit sketchy. Committing orders to memory for 5 people leads to confusion. Unwelcoming and brusque reception. Food was good and we enjoyed our evening with the caveats above.
Excellent food and service
I ate at this restaurant during the pre-opening, and unfortunately the food wasn't the same standard. The tasting menu for sharing was fine, although the rice dish (which you mix yourself) quickly becomes a bland, mushy sludge. The grilled of beef was overcooked and tough - a long way from Wagyu. And this was the main dish of the set menu.
A good wine list - we drank a stunning garganega, which although pricy was a great choice. It seems £50+ per bottle seems the norm these days. However, all in all the meal wasn't bad value - just a couple of misses with the food.
Insane quality and taste of food, very clean restaurant and really well decorated throughout.
The waiter shouldn't speak so quick and needs to find better ways to explain what the food actually is. Struggled to understand most of it. Serving quality was great and food arrived in good time.
