Read about poor service but was perfectly fine on my visit. Food would have scored higher if it had been warmer and the skepasti didn’t have enough chicken in it so reduced value for money. It was lunch time I went so ambience might be better in the evening when it’s busier

A very small and expensive plate of dried up Moussaka! Staff were inattentive and when I mentioned the poor quality of the main course, he just shrugged his shoulders.

We went here (visitors to Edinburgh) as we like Greek food but it was a bit disappointing to be honest. The food was ok, we had gone in earlier in the day to book a table to be told we had to do it online, no they couldn't just take our name and reserve a table. I was kind of expecting something a little bit more special, it's ok for an everyday meal but I wouldn't go there for a celebration.

Lamb chops very poor quality meat. Hard, chewy. Accompanying potatoes cold. Very small portion of moussaka. When mentioned to staff, was met with complete indifference. I suppose I should have see the warning red flag when I realised it was the only quiet restaurant on a very busy Edinburgh Fringe evening.

Service was very slow, apparently they were having some technical difficulties with both payment systems and with getting orders back to the kitchen. As a result our party of six did not get a beverage for 30 minutes and any food for 45 minutes. When it did come, it came all at once, salad, apps and entrees. My meal was ok at best, although I’ll concede the rest of my party may have ranked the quality of food higher than I have.

Terrible service the worst I have ever recieved in Edinburgh. My snd my friend came here on Sunday after some seriously high recommendation by my friends wife and e though we both love Greek food so why not! How disappointing. Wen we ordered the dipping platter only 3 pieces of bread for four or five dips!!! Come on guys you even know this is not enough so we ordered more bread which we were charged for bur seriously under portioned. Wine was fantastic and the beer mythos was lovely as same in Greece. Wen it came to the main course the young girl came out with the main course but our table had our platter on the table still as well as dirty glasses. She then tried to get a member of staff to clear the plate away Wen she couldn't get anyone she asked my colleague to help her!! Oh my god unbelievable service she could only carry 2 plates absolutely shocking service. After the fiasco ended the food was freezing cold and our server how was I think indian and had glasses obviously seen outer problem trying to attract his attention but he ignored us on purpose and let the young lady deal with the problem of cold food. So we asked for the bill and I found it astounding you have a service charge for a place like this with the staff you have seriously problems in the service industry ahead. I have worked in the service industry for over 30 years and this is poorest I have ever recieved anywhere. Wen the bill came she took service charge off and only 1 meal Wen both meals were freezing cold. No leadership no customer service absolutely never again.
