Hello, I LOVE your bar and i come regurarly. The djs are amazing, the music, the environment, thecocktails. However, the music is way too loud sometimes. I love this place so i come a lot but my friends cannot bare the volume of the music and don't want to come back.. They are in their early thirties so it is not that they are too old for loud music. I believe if the volume was a little lower everyone would enjoy it even more. Many thanks!

Great atmosphere for music lovers, cool retro theme decor and great spirited staff. The food never disappoints either, healthy tapas style so plenty to choose from - once you scratch your head at the Spanish menu 😉

Went for lunch with a work friend. Great change from the bigger venues in the area. More intimate, quiet and relaxing. And very cool. Original and tasty food (not too much choice) with good service.

Utterly fabulous as usual, I have never had a disappointing evening at Spiritland. The service was impeccable, the food and wine delicious and the music fantastic. Sadly too late for that evenings playing of a whole album as that is always a treat. Don’t go expecting a massive theee course meal but the food that is served is excellent and perfect to share alongside a drink.

A terrific atmosphere, attentive staff with great small plate food & cocktail list. The music selection suits the time of day and the sound system is outstanding. Hugely recommended.

Awesome as usual.

One of our bartenders was pretty forgetful with our orders on a number of occasions, but his
colleagues made up for him plenty.

It would be nice to see some new additions to the food menu.

Great place and sound system - recommend dipping in and out in small groups as if you go with a large group and are unlucky with the dj you may feel stuck there. Djs are generally great but the noise levels vary a lot (I have been many times) from enjoyable to too loud to talk / eat dinner!

I absolutely love this place. The ambience is great, loved having the DJ (Ben Gomori) play live next to us while we ate. It's different, and the food is absolutely fantastic. My only criticism is that I think the venue was let down heavily by it's wine list, which is just not nearly as good as the food. I thought £6.50 for a very small glass of sub-standard wine was a bit of a let-down. Stick to the cocktails.

I had a reservation at 8:30 pm yesterday.
My friend went there on time, though he had difficulty entering, he managed to get to our table.
I was 15 mins late.
The guy waiting at the door did not let me in!!!
I told him that I had a reservation and my date was inside waiting for me. He did not let me in saying that it was full and it would take at least an hour for him to accept people inside. He didn't even let me talk to any manager.
My friend had already ordered while waiting for me. He had to pay for the drinks he couldn't even finish and come out. I really thought this was a joke! never happened to me before!!
How can they be disorganized and The guy didn't even apologize! He acted like this was a normal thing.
Why do you take reservations then?? Or tell us beforehand that you might not be able to let us inside even though we have a reservation.
How unprofessional, poor and disrespectful of them! They ruined our night!

We had a great time. We got what we considered to be the best seats in the room, centre of the speakers and far enough to enjoy conversation.
We had the company of a Steely Dan anorak whose enthusiasm for the band helped us enjoy the evening even more.
Highly recommended.

Great bar. Successfully treads the line between being atmospheric and having its own character without being overly intrusive or noisy. Music was great, but at a level that made conversation easy. A great place and I'd certainly go again.

I love this place, yes it is loud, but the music is always interesting, the burrata and pan con tomate delicious (The rest is a bit hit and miss) and the drinks pretty well mixed too. I love the speakers in the toilets best.

My first experience of Spiritland was a joy. The environment is geared around music. From the fabulously warm and rich system to the recording studios you can clearly see. It's an audiophile dream. The food was well prepared with good ingredients. The wine list well considered and that all adds up to a fab time.

Try it once....I'm sure you'll be back.

The sound in here is impossible not to appreciate. Smooth and delightful. Great djs. Great cocktails. Service friendly and accommodating with my water always kept topped up. Came here for a birthday and had cake brought out to us that I'd given in at the bar. Nice crowd with a big age range.

A really interesting spot with rotating DJs and exciting cocktail list. The Pan Con Tomate is lovely and the burrata dish. Sometimes it can be loud, but with a group of friends that is part of the fun

Good food and drink in interesting surroundings. It helps if you like music, but midweek the music wasn't too loud. Only drawback, you were quite packed in almost sharing tables (and conversation) with those around you.

I wanted to love this as the venue is so cool and the music and soundsystem are really special. However we had really poor service and when you're paying £11 for a teeny plate of egg/sausages and chickpeas it's a real shame and a bit ridiculous. I would come here for drinks in the bar type area with a snack. Don't bother bedding in for food, the service isn't up to it for the price.

The first I heard of Spiritland was an article on the London TV news, explaining that the fitting out of this place was rather expensive largely due to the sound system. This takes up a substantial amount of space, there's a DJ bench and there are huge speakers with their dedicated amplifiers. The resultant sound quality is the best I have ever heard (then again, I didn't spend over 100k on my home stereo). But this place is worth a visit just to listen to whatever is playing. The selection of music is varied, even making genres that don't normally impress me enjoyable - even jazz! Anyway, once you add the interesting cocktails and good quality food it's a great place.

Small tapas-style plates made with fresh ingredients. The main reason to go though is for the music.

I heard about Spirit Land on R3 when they were reviewing the music side of the venue. This is what mainly drew my attention to visiting it. Therefore, when attending a concert recently at Kings Place I thought that it might be worthwhile checking Spirit Land to see what it was like for food. The menu is quite small and the dishes are also fairly small. There were four of us and we chose 7 small plates. I would say this was not really enough - if this is for an evening meal. It is OK for a small supper though. The food itself was very good and tasty. We had the polenta with walnuts, a couple of vegetable dishes and potatoes (very good).
I would go again, though I did find it expensive for what it was. I did enjoy the music though. It would be worth going for that alone.

I loved it - but having an expensive sound system should mean quality sound - not simply decibels. It was so loud the wait staff couldn't communicate with us or understand. When the music was lowered 5% it was amazing! Overall the place was amazing, the vibe great, the DJ was good and the good and drinks were good. Menu is small and light so more of a light meal place or a drinks after dinner.
