I heard about this restaurant from a work colleague and I'm glad I decided to check it out.
Went on Valentine's Day so was a set menu, but the food was outstanding.
Great service from friendly staff and the overall ambiance was very nice with just the right amount of lighting.
Great location with the Harbour Bridge on one side and a view to the Opera House on the other.
I recommend a visit and I'll definitely be going back again (even just for a pizza and one of Squires many beers on tap).
I requested a window seat and me and my wife were actually the first ones there and didn’t get it. I think the tables are also a bit to close to each other so not much privacy. I understand there’s not much you can do about that but just giving some honest feedback.
We were seated looking straight at the Opera House which our English guests were super excited over. Great location, food was wonderful and the service attentive. We had a great evening and would highly recommend it.
We came to Squires Landing for an evening of great food and celebration as it was my wife's birthday.
We were disappointed. We started off with a small pitcher of a cocktail for 2. It was tasty but watered down. I tried a sampler of 4 different beers. They were balanced and tasty but nothing spectacular. We enjoy raw oysters and ordered 6. They were warm. We've traveled all over the world and never had room temperature oysters before. They are always chilled. Fortunately, no ill effects. For entrees I had the Barremundi which was fine. My wife had the crab salad as an entrée. It was 95% salad greens and shaved fennel and 5% crab. She was very disappointed. The waitress had suggested the sourdough bread which was described as cheesy, crisp and garlicy. It was cheesy only. As far as service, very good. The views were also great.
If no cruise ship is in...this restaurant has the best views of The Circular Quay ferry traffic and the Opera House. Friendly staff, great beer, good (not great) food.
Amazing view! You can't get a better location in Sydney. The service was great too!
Been 3 times now and nothing but good experiences. Great view, food never disappoints and beautiful venture to have a few laughs
Good food, but steak temperatures were on the low side. My medium rare was served closer to blue, and my wife's medium was served closer to med-rare. Far from a show stopper. Very boisterous environment. Amazing views. Great service.
The proportion size of the food was very small for the cost that was being charged
We had fish, wine and chocolate dessert. The food, service and ambiance were all very nice.
View & service were good but the quality of the good & taste was very disappointing don’t think I would eat in the restaurant or recommend again
Food is amazing!! Service is amazing! Atmosphere very vibrant!! Location is perfect!! A great place to enjoy with someone special!!!
The food itself tasted great, but was cold which was disappointing. The service was also average.
Our 3rd visit this time with out of town guests. What a fabulous addition to this part of town. Service always with a smile and very accommodating. Food outstanding. Will def be back.
Lovely menu. The meat is chargrilled - I think this should be stated on the menu
You're paying for one of the best views in the world rather than the food
This is my second visit to Squaire Landing and I decided of never going back again. It was an awful experience compare to my first visit. The food we order took more than average waiting and steaks wasn’t properly cooked as what I asked for. Waitress took them back to the kitchen to be re-grilled instead of serving me a new one as she said it will actually TAKES EVEN LONGER TO COOK A NEW STEAK and came back with it over cooked and dry. Most ridiculous thing is we were served with RAW CHICKEN with actual blood in it and the kitchen and the waitress denying it was raw and making excuse of it was just near the joint without a proper apology. I see no difference of this restaurant to a normal food court, not even the quality of the food as well as lack of staff training on customer service.
Only disappointment was the children’s menu, otherwise fabulous
i think they left the fish off the cerviche dish! or we couldnt find it at least... also couldnt find the the crab in the crab salad!
Food is good, view is great and it is value for money.
Throughly enjoyed it, great view great food , very nice atmosphere
The restaurant at Squires Landing looks out over the Opera House and Harbour Bridge. It offers “gastro-pub” high quality food. The wide range of beers on tap include some brewed on the premises. It is an absolute “must visit” for any tourist or SYDNEY local. We have been back again several times. The menu includes salads, burgers chicken, fish and some amazing beef options. We also enjoyed “wine on tap” which was really good value.
Outstanding view! Great place for a long lunch with your friends or family
Stunning view of Opera house and harbour bridge. Great food.
Great food and view. Service was excellent and didn't have to wait too long for the food.
Awesome venue and not as many people there as you would expect for such a fantastic location. Food for dinner was good, better than the lunch menu. Staff were very friendly and attentive. Had a great night.
The casual bar ambiance down stairs could be better injected into the level 1 restaurant - which despite being told our table needed to be vacated in 2 hours remained only 3/4 full for the duration of the night - we were allowed to stay but the vibe is hit and miss.
Seafood is perhaps not their strong point and so if we enjoyed meat we may have really loved it.
A fun place to have dinner and hang out by Sydney Harbor. Food and service was good.
Great experience, lovely views. Would highly recommend. Perhaps a more child friendly kids menu would be the only suggestion.
Amazing views! Food is slightly overpriced, but worth paying due to the views!
We went to Squires Landing for our anniversary and really enjoyed our evening with gorgeous views of the harbour bridge and opera house. We had a lovely meal and a bottle of Prosecco and was served by a waiter by the name of Mitch who was fantastic. We would highly recommend this place for a Special Occassion, or otherwise!
The food was excellent! We went on a very quite night and got prime seating with an excellent view of the opera house.
Great views and food is good with a menu that should suit everyone.
Waited for a while to get the main course
Nice staff and delish food. Amazing view. Cannot be beat but a little $ as would be expected
We enjoyed the ambience, the noise level was good - we could have conversations without having to yell. The service was ordinary. My steak was nearly inedible- in fact I gave it to my husband who like raw steak. It was very raw and chewy- not what I expected for the money we paid. I did not complain, even though now I wish I had. The wine was notable. I would return for the ambience and the views but may consider the bar downstairs as the meals were over priced and of a poor standard and the service was appalling- I even had to ask for water a number of times.
Great venue with an amazing view that can not be found elsewhere! Staff were amazing, food was sensational! Loved every minute of it
Great place , service was fantastic, will definitely be back . Keep up the good work !
The food at this place is a little mediocre especially for the price point. The only thing amazing about this place is the view. You decide if you were more interested in the view or in the food. They also messed up on our order two times
A great spot for a nice lunch, where the menu has plenty of options
Sevice was slow for no one in the resturant on Xmas eve lunch time.
