A delightful lunch. Freshly prepared seasonal food, served on small plates to share. A choice of both cold and well prepared hot dishes, all perfectly seasoned . Delicious .
Lovely restaurant good choice of food we were a mixed group of vegetarian and meat eaters. The mixed beets were really good and the prawns too.
Will definitely return
Fabulous food and superb staff in a lovely venue. Great wine menu. Thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to go back to try the other dishes.
Fantastic venue with great tapas style food and excellent wine and cocktails.
Amazing food, comfortable and plenty of space.
Nice place with a very nice ambiance, food was nice if not slightly pricey for a size of the dishes, the macaroni cheese although nice and tasting of truffle wasnt cheesy at all. I'll definitely be back I love sitting drinking wine here.
Great tapas, good wine selection, reasonable prices. Service good, but we did have to ask about dish which has been forgotten about. Was't busy, but went for a later lunch.
The look and feel is great with nice low volume music. The only downside was that a lot of our food was cold, we were more there for a drink and a chat so it wasn't the end of the world but still disappointing.
Good range of wine by the glass to accompany bistro /taps type food
This is a superb place to eat. The food is outstanding, the service perfect and the atmosphere just right. The oysters are amazing! We asked for cheese and the way it was served was perfect The small plates are cooked to perfection and the advice we had from the server was spot on. The wine selection is top notch. We will go back - it's worth making a trip to Newcastle for! 11/10!
Service and food was fantastic the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable
If I had to make a criticism it would be that the background music was a bit loud
Excellent service, divine food and a great atmosphere.
It ticks all the boxes but sorry, it’s just too expensive!!
It’s quite unbelievable eye watering prices for what we had!
Tiny portions. Huge prices
Lovely meal at St Vincent. We enjoyed all the dishes we tried especially the chill prawns. Staff were friendly and warm with our two young children. Will be back.
Good ambience, cheerful staff and good food
A great place for Sunday brunch. A classy venue that won't break the bank!
Some of the dishes weren’t the most reasonably priced, but there was a great variety of dishes available and everything was delicious.
I loved Cafe Vivo and sad it’s gone (was my fav restaurant in NCL) but the new place is also fantastic - really high quality food and same great staff. Thanks, will be back.
We all had been looking forward to the evening and St Vincent did not disappoint. There was something for everyone. Tasty, unusual dishes, good wine at a reasonable price and friendly service. The ambience was lovely - good lighting and, although busy, not noisy. We will all go again.
Most of the food was nice enough, if a little overpriced, £10:50 for five ( not very large prawns) 4 slices of stale sourdough bread £3:50.
The waitress was so disinterested in us, she didn’t put our dessert order into the kitchen so we had to do without as had theatre tickets.
I wouldn’t return, there are far better places nearby.
Fabulous place; food delicious and the decor and ambiance absolutely lovely. Key location on Newcastle quayside. My new favourite restaurant 😁
This place never fails to disappoint. Great staff, great food and a great vibe
Great food and the service was very good. The wine list is extensive so will definitely be back.
Loved it, can’t wait to come back!
Music was great, staff great, atmosphere excellent. And of course the food was outstanding!
Delicious food as usual and great service. Excellent wine recommendation. Perfect evening for a special celebration.
Excellent all round as usual. I noticed that mains have been introduced. Small plates for me was this restaurants distinctive feature along with choice of good wines by the glass. It was very noisy on arrival caused by one party but it settled down. The music level was too high for conversation so moved away from the bar which I had booked and was able to do so because on Thursday night the restaurant wasn't full.
Thoroughly enjoyed this first visit to St Vincent. Warm welcome, great surroundings and absolutely delicious dishes. I will be back.
Lovely food, great atmosphere. Variable size portions.
Wonderful food and exceptional wine from Cahors. Very consistent quality and very good and helpful service
Really good service, I accidentally dropped my drink and
It was quickly replaced by waitress. Service excellent and menu choice very good. Quality of food impeccable, would definitely go back
Booked a table and requested a high table but did not get one even though they were available. I felt we were an inconvenience to the waitress. Not the usual standard for your restaurants.
I went there with a very special person and we loved it. The food was fantastic, the staff very friendly and spent an excellent time trying different food.
Would recommend.........but we felt the dishes were overpriced.
Staff were too attentive! We were asked twice about everything: drinks, food, whether everything was ok.
This was my second visit to St Vincent, and it was just as fantastic as my first visit. The food is delicious and great choices, and the knowledge of the waiting staff on the food and wine was most helpful. Lovely atmosphere, we will definitely be back again and again.
The food and service and St Vincent’s was fantastic. We were there on a Saturday night so the place was busy but the service was still spot on and the food was spectacular. Every dish was beautifully presented and tasted amazing.
What disappoints me about St Vincent is the fact they add a discretionary service charge to the bill however this service charge is not passed onto their dedicated hard working staff. In fact the staff I spoke to did not know where the service charge went.
So in summary. Great food and service however I would refuse to pay the service charge on the principle that the staff do not receive it!
Absolutely love this place; decor, atmosphere, location and the food is delicious! A credit to Newcastle 👍
Staff really friendly and attentive. Food lovely but portions quite small therefore not great value for money
Great tasting food and lovely wine served by knowledgeable staff ; a real treat.
An amazing brunch. Great friendly and informative service. Menu choice very good to cater for wide range of tastes. Perfectly poached eggs and fresh doughnuts were just ace!
Fast becoming the best place in town for a lovely long dinner
