Such a relaxed place to enjoy brunch
Staff attentive and pleasant and food outstanding
Choice of booths and open tables to suit all ...
Reliably excellent and interesting small plates and good service. Very good range of interesting veggie options. Beets are beautiful, venison and lamb cutlets also winners as an alternative to Sunday lunch. And a great wine selection. Plenty of space and relaxed atmosphere just off the Quayside.
Everyone on our party had a great time and enjoyed the food.
Nice food but expensive for what it was and the amount. We had a voucher and would have been disappointed paying full price for what it was.
Good wine choice and small plates of food to
Go with the wine.
Amazing as always and lovely staff
I highly recommend and have been there many times now
Fantastic atmosphere and food. Also one of the best dirty martinis I’ve had! Excellent!
Wonderful place. Always feels celebratory even for a glass of wine and a light bite. Have gone back time and time again and never once been disappointed. The only qualm I have is that I hate service charge being added to the bill. The staff are uniformly fantastic - they really do make the place- and I'd sooner the guarantee of handing them their tip myself at the end of the night (having worked in service myself I know just how easily the process of incorporation can be abused, and how the servers themselves can end up missing out on money they have earned through skill and hard work.)
Good food, interesting way of eating as a group. Wine very good.
Great evening with fantastic food and service. Location on Quayside was perfect for parking with multistorey 5 minute walk away
This is the second time I’ve been to St Vincent and I couldn’t speak more highly of the place! The food is fantastic, the staff are brilliant and the wine is perfect. Overall, 11/10! Thanks again for a great evening, can’t wait to be back.
Great place to test some new wines, this is where I have discovered orange wine.
Excellent food and attentive service.
The food was excellent. Wonderful range of dishes and flavours. There was also a great choice of wine. The restaurant also had a lovely ambience making it a memorable evening.
Fantastic restaurant. Friendly efficient service, extensive interesting wine list, delicious food. Only slight criticism would be the order in which the food was brought out, with the chips last after we had finished everything else.
A great place to relax and enjoy lovely food and wine
Quiet time of day at 4.30pm but still a lovely atmosphere! Great venue on the Quayside, good selection on the afternoon menu and beautiful food! Couldn’t fault it and would visit again when in Newcastle.
Amazing food and service. Calamari and salad were incredible, and a lovely selection of drinks for the bottomless brunch. 10/10, would definitely recommend for brunch. Staff are so lovely too, very attentive and friendly.
This was my second visit to St Vincent's but I didn't enjoy it as much as my first visit. It was busier and noisier than I was expecting. I had booked standard seating but we were sat on high stools which I find uncomfortable. We had to wait quite a while for our food and one of the dishes we ordered didn't arrive. However, the food was tasty and well cooked and the wine was lovely so I would probably return on a quieter night.
Restaurant week is good value with 4 tapas dishes for £15
Some of the dishes are a reasonable size so you wont be left hungry.
Limited choice of dishes for vegetarians seem to remember a wider choice in previous years
Chips are far too salty and it would be nice if an option of no salt on them was provided.
Macoroni Cheese was delicious as was the Beef Cheeks.
Titamisu is to die for.
We have been a few time for a drink here, it has a good choice and good service. We went for the restaurant week deal and weren't disappointed! Four small plates for £15 was more than enough and kept me full for the rest of the day. A nice bottle of champagne to accompany it made it even more perfect. The food was very rich but that is what was expected. Would come back again and maybe try the sunday brunch deal!
We took advantage of the restaurant week deal which was very good value. We thoroughly enjoyed it and can’t wait to come back to try more of the menu. Looking forward to trying out the brunch too!
Food, wine and staff were all amazing
Delicious tapas with fantastic wine list in a relaxed environment- we’ve been with friends, celebrated our daughters 21st and sons 18th here - very happy customers each time!
Fabulous as always. We have been a few times now and food was outstanding every time. Great wine too and always a very relaxed atmosphere. My favourite dish this time was clams with langoustines and fregola. Really just not sure which of the 21 venues is my favourite, love them all.
Had such a fab NYE meal here! Food was great and atmosphere was brill.
Was really lovely night thank you everyone food was good they even made my friend an “old fashioned” that wasn’t on the cocktail list
The best meal I have had in ages . Food was delicious and the house wine to die for. Would highly recommend. Best tapas style meal in Newastle. Definitely 5 stars for this little gem of a restaurant
Food lovely, friends were visiting from London and they all commented on the tasty food. Good wine selection as well. Service poor. Took a while for table water and drinks, difficult to catch someone’s attention, finished plates partially cleared then all glasses left on the table despite several drinks etc. Would go back for the food but service at a busy time like the festive period possibly needs improved.
The service was amazing as always. The staff are personable, efficient and helpful. Decor helps the fantastic ambience. The food is well presented and tasty. The cloudy Prosecco and natural wines are stunning. A lot of superlatives in this review but well deserved. Thank you!
Great food , tapas style ,lovely place to eat and be able to chat
A delightful lunch. Freshly prepared seasonal food, served on small plates to share. A choice of both cold and well prepared hot dishes, all perfectly seasoned . Delicious .
Lovely restaurant good choice of food we were a mixed group of vegetarian and meat eaters. The mixed beets were really good and the prawns too.
Will definitely return
Fabulous food and superb staff in a lovely venue. Great wine menu. Thoroughly enjoyed it and can't wait to go back to try the other dishes.
Fantastic venue with great tapas style food and excellent wine and cocktails.
Amazing food, comfortable and plenty of space.
Nice place with a very nice ambiance, food was nice if not slightly pricey for a size of the dishes, the macaroni cheese although nice and tasting of truffle wasnt cheesy at all. I'll definitely be back I love sitting drinking wine here.
Great tapas, good wine selection, reasonable prices. Service good, but we did have to ask about dish which has been forgotten about. Was't busy, but went for a later lunch.
The look and feel is great with nice low volume music. The only downside was that a lot of our food was cold, we were more there for a drink and a chat so it wasn't the end of the world but still disappointing.
Good range of wine by the glass to accompany bistro /taps type food
This is a superb place to eat. The food is outstanding, the service perfect and the atmosphere just right. The oysters are amazing! We asked for cheese and the way it was served was perfect The small plates are cooked to perfection and the advice we had from the server was spot on. The wine selection is top notch. We will go back - it's worth making a trip to Newcastle for! 11/10!
Service and food was fantastic the staff were very friendly and knowledgeable
If I had to make a criticism it would be that the background music was a bit loud
