Loved our dining experience here - it felt like a treat. The food was interesting, full of flavour and well adapted for the vegetarians in the group. Service was professional and explained enough about the food and drink to be helpful without overdoing it. Do try the bread - it was delicious.

What a gem in the heart of St Leonards. We went for lunch, a set menu of 4 courses, all beautifully presented and delicious. Relaxed ambience and and great service from Grace (x 2). We’ll be back!

Our first time and a great place to celebrate a birthday. We liked the adventure through the meal without a menu, each course was a tasty surprise! Good sized portions and good choice of unusual alcoholic and soft drinks. Very friendly and informative staff added to the occasion; we liked finding out the history of the wine and where the ingredients came from. Seating was comfortable, padded benches and all in all … a fun vibe!

Superb lunch on 2 July, with a fabulous menu: a little fish heavy but all the better for that. Everything was excellent - it was the first visit for the friends we went with and they were massive impressed by the quality and cost.

A wonderful set menu, left about to burst but what a fabulous evening. Very very good service from a friendly bunch who clearly get on well and love the place.

What a treat - lunch at Stage is a taste adventure that is perfect for omnivore foodies who love to be surprised with every new course. Service is friendly and helpful and the pacing of the food is also great. Don't forget to order the delicious bread!

Great little place packed full of delicious food that you don’t know what you’re going to have until you are served. The knowledge of the food attendants/waiters is exemplary & they were all very friendly & nothing too much trouble. Will definitely go back & most certainly 100% recommend. Thank you

This was my third visit. Once again the whole experience was wonderful. The menu was varied, seasonal, local, unusual but delicious. The drinks flight was a great surprise. A selection of wine, cocktails, and beer. Very clever. Thank you again Stage team - you are amazing
