State & Main Kitchen + Bar - Etobicoke

I think no one looks at the notes entered.. this was the second time I requested a table and it was not reserved.

Also this time of year to not have wine that is on the menu shows poor planning.. Thursday wine is the feature.

the food was fresh and good, but not outstanding as i was expecting considering the prices.

Food was terrible cold and oily tasted like it was under warm light

The reservation didn't seem to be in place. Not sure if making a reservation through OpenTable works in general or works at this location.

Went to watch the Raptors 2019/2020 Season Opener and had a great time. My only setback was the chicken fingers we ordered were slightly burnt and over-cooked. Apart from that, no complaints.

Overall a good place to get a descent dinner with friends and family.

Staff was attentive , food was great with lots of choices and very reasonably priced.
Worth another visit

We arrived on time and had our choice of seating. It wasn’t overly busy but was very noisy with patron chatter and numerous tv screens showing multiple events.
I had fish tacos, which was quite messy, and each taco contained only one piece of deep fried fish (2 oz maximum)
It’s ok to watch a game, but if you’re looking for a good dining experience, go elsewhere.

Quiet only a few people around. Nice lunch out on patio beside East Mall. Our waitress was happy, friendly and gave us excellent service. The West Coast salad was tasty but could have had more cranberries and avocado. One lady had the Thai salad with some spice. She said it was delicious. I will go back to try some other dishes.

Amazing servers, and lots of interesting food offerings! A bit noisy, but they immediately moved us away from the party-ers and all was well! Great neighbourhood restaurant!

Good experience overall.. Hopefully next time I could up one star.

Reason I gave a 4 star was because the fish tacos I asked for almost came with no fish and a whole ton of lettuce. Even the server was shocked. They did send out a second plate but had to wait a very long time! Second round although was perfect.

My bf had the grilled chicken breast sandwich & that was an absolute 5 star.

We will come back and try it again.

Food was good as was service. Timing was good - not too slow or too rushed. Inviting ambiance. Menu is more limited than it was last time I was there.

My husband and I were visiting family in Toronto, and looking for somewhere to eat nearby. State & Main was the perfect low key date night spot...delicious food, laid-back atmosphere, and friendly staff. We enjoyed ourselves enough to take his parents back there the following night. I wish there was a State & Main near us in Houston, TX!

Loved this spot! We had drinks and the steak. Everything was great :) wouldn’t recommend bringing a huge group as it was pretty full but a very nice place.

Love the food, it is a bit loud in there, but we still keep coming back.

Excellent food and ambiance! Would definitely go back, however not all food came out at the same time unfortunately so half of us were waiting for food for quite some time.

Owned by Cara, along with the Keg and others, this restaurant/bar from Alberta is on par with Milestones, Kelsey’s, Montana’s style restaurants.

My family took for my birthday dinner and we all very much enjoyed it. Our server was excellent checking on us several times. Noise level was fine as we could carry on a conversation. All dishes were enjoyed!

Great booths for a group to watch the game

I only have two minor issues. We were there for a special occasion and the appetizer I ordered was out and two of us ordered the brownie dessert which was somehow not available as they were over cooked.
Our desserts were very generously covered but a bit disappointed that we were unable to get what we had chosen.
Overall though a very nice experience.

Good food, good service, good night out. They ran out of one of the desserts we wanted but the waiter was great and gave us another free. Noice level was a bit high for dinning with a group that wants to chat cause the table we sat at was high and a bit long for 4 people.

State & Main Kitchen + Bar is a wonderful destination place for those living in the west end of Toronto or Etobicoke. Tucked away in the Loblaws property at East Mall and Burnhamthorpe Rd, locals know it for it's good food, drink and service. Don't be surprised to see the hustle and bustle on a weekday so reservations are suggested.

Brittany was an amazing server! So accommodating, polite, hospitable! We we surly be back!

They were very accommodating to our group and helped us celebrate our daughter's birthday!

Our server was just fantastic. The food value was ok. We each ordered tacos, the order came with two, which would have been great had the tacos actually been full. The salad we ordered with it was delicious but not much of it. So we both still felt hungry when we were finished our meal. The food itself was delicious though. I recommend the lamb tacos, just order an extra one if you're hungry!

Had a great night with a large group. Was able to make a reso for a party of 10. Had great service and was able to see lots of TV's. Had a good selection of beers on tap and even larger including bottles. Food was tasty and good value. Will definitely be back.
