Steak & Co St Martin's Lane
At Steak & Co we use the centre cut of the tenderloin to create the perfect barrel fillet. The fillet is the finest of all the steaks with a soft velvety texture
Rib Eye Steak
Our Argentinian ribeye has a soft creamy eye of fat at the centre which melts on the stone keeping the steak soft and succulent
Outstanding service from waiters who go above expected to ensure that their customers are happy, an example of this being offering tips and help with the steak as you cook it by yourself. Greeted with smiles at the door, and the restaurant was super clean! With regular checks, my partner and I felt very welcome and we will most defiantly be returning. Delicious food too which is the real winner!!
This was our second visit to this restaurant and our third to a Steak&co since Christmas. All was excellent. For me the music can be a bit loud at these restaurants sometimes!
Amazing food and terrific service. Would definitely go again.
Good steak restaurant situated 2 mins walk from Leicester Square Station. Some cuts of steak can be served rare leaving you to finish off to your liking on a hot stone with an excellent selection of sauces, seasoning and butters. Good friendly service.
Great service, lovely atmosphere and fantastic Steak!
My children loved the idea of cooking their own steaks and everything was consumed. Good tasty steaks that came in a timely fashion -friendly waiter-we will go again
We chose Steak & Co for it's convenient position a few doors up from the theatre. We intend to return for a more lengthy experience with friends.
Excellent food and service. Steaks are the best I have eaten and the overall experience of cooking on your own stone is great.
Would highly recommend
Lovely food served by friendly waiter. The starter arrived quickly with extra plates as we were sharing. The main course steak was tender and tasty.
This was are first time at the restaurant, and would recommend to are friends.
The only issue was we could have done with a bigger table to fit all the plates & glasses on .
Fabulous concept, which is well executed. The food was outstanding and will be returning to eat here again on our next visit to London.
Decent place but probably better options in Covent Gardens area.
Booked in advance - excellent value for my rib eye steak and very friendly service. Highly recommended
Friendly and efficient service. And enjoyed the novelty of part self cooking the steak.
was good dinner for a good price
Good quality food, excellent service, too much smoke inside
Had to wait over 20 minutes after arriving (on time) to be seated as they were busy. No apologies or complimentary drink. Seeing as we were there for 2 people’s birthday, no acknowledgement of this.
Waitress took our order and we had to ask 3 times to chase for our water and drinks.
The steak was ok but bit fatty.
After dinner they straight away asked if we wanted pudding we politely said not at the moment and 2 mins later they plonked the bill down even though we had drinks to finish and we were going to order some more.
Over all food was nice but not amazing, the staff were clearly very busy which meant they weren’t very attentive. And we felt very rushed to sit down eat and leave so they could get the next lot in which is not what we wanted.
Would definitely go again. Food and service was superb.
The food was great have never used this Steak & Co before but it didn't disappoint.
Amazing quality meat and everything else just as good
Had a table of 7, very busy Friday night but it all worked out well. Great food.
Service was appalling. Had to ask for water 4 times. Camembert was hard so had to wait 10 minutes to get the waiters attention. He brought out a new one but this shouldn’t have needed to be done. Steak was good but mainly because you can cook it yourself so no issues. Was very hard to get the waiters attention for the bill. Think he knew that he let us down because he gave us shots with our bill. Don’t think we’ll return.
Have eaten at Steak & Co a few times and the food has been consistently good. Cooking your own steak on a stone adds to the fun, if you don’t want to do that the helpful and attentive staff will get it cooked in the conventional way. Nice ambience in the restaurants too and this one is very convenient for pre theatre dinner
Lovely restaurant and food but we were the only customers, so no atmosphere
They forgot our appetizers, the sauce was bad and the fries were horrible. Would not recommend considering the price tag.
Good food, great steak. One waiter for the whole section. We waited an hour for food after it was ordered. We then waited 45 minutes for dessert. Good if you have plenty of time.
Very good food and service. The atmosphere in the room does get a bit smokey due to the hot stone sizzlers. They add to the theatre of the food but if you are going out afterwards, the smell of steak does linger on your clothes.
Fabulous food, brilliant service from polite staff. Will be back again
There were too many people, and my family and I have been waiting quite a while for an order.
Steak and Co is ok but you always end up covered in butter. I can’t believe they still insist on the £1 per person cover charge in this day and age. Just annoying. Also the waiter (who was slow and inattentive) took the opportunity to remind me that if I did a tip on my card then 30% doesn’t go to him. Again, bad mgt practise. The steak was good but Overpriced. This sums up the whole experience. I’ve been a few times as the kids enjoy it but to be honest I think we are done with it moving forward.
We went to steak & co for my sons birthday. The waiter was very polite and always made sure we were happy. We will definitely be back soon
Expensive for a restaurant where you cook the food yourself, would be okay if you like raw steak but anything medium or higher takes a while to cook and hot stone begins to cool down. Was so concentrated on cooking forgot abt sides they went cold too. Food was nice but hard work.
Food was good but a few problems - we had booked a table for 8.15 but had to stand outside for about 15 mins they were obviously booked to capacity but were still telling anybody that walked in without a booking it was no problem! Huge huddle of people stood at the front door for at least 30 mins . They need to sort out their booking / seating policy.
We were also shocked to learn that if you leave a tip by card that steak and Co automatically take 30% of the tip. Appalling ! If we give a tip for good service we expect it to wholly go to the person that served us and not just be used as extra income for the restaurant . If we venture there again we will make sure to have cash to tip.
This place is amazing, next time I’m in London I will definitely be back.
Orderd the fillet steak and it was lovely would definitely recommend. I will be booking again.
Absolutely loved our meal at steak and co! Always amazing every time we go. The only faults I can say are the hot stone gets cold too quickly a lot of people around us had to get new ones to finish cooking their steak, we didn’t bother and just dealt with it. Also has happened twice that the waiter has forgotten to add the drinks to our bill and then once paying he realised and asked me to pay for the drinks when it should of been on the bill anyway. Just little things but overall amazing food!
We really enjoyed the food and the staff were doing their best in a busy restaurant and were very friendly. The whole place was very smoky though from all the steak cooking which meant our clothes and hair smelt all evening.
I feel they had overbooked, with it being valentines weekend they split larger tables into lots of tables of 2 which meant you felt cramped; we were essentially eating dinner with the people next to us as we were so close.
I would return as the food was tasty, but I would hope for a slight improvement.
we went here on valentines night and we had a really great time the food was excellent and service too even though it was very busy did have to wait a while for drinks and food but understandable being valentines night. not the cheapest place but you get what you pay for.
we would recommend to friends and will visit again 5 stars.
For me it was very noisy and the steak was very average. But have been several times before and it was much better on quieter nights and would recommend on those experiences.
Great Steak, fabulous service. Only downside is the tables are quite close together.
