The inspiring dining experience to launch in Manchester is Steak & Lobster at Alto restaurant. The concept: no menu, just a simple choice between the eponymous mains. A 10oz rib eye steak or a lobster served whole. Both are served with garlic and chive butter, French fries and a side salad. Select either option for only £22. That’s it! Nice and simple. Great food, amazing value. Cemented by today’s trend for simple, quick and quality dining; it will be a hot ticket for those looking to hold impromptu business lunches, the city centre shopper or for those dining with friends.

Steak & Lobster Manchester Ratings and Reviews
Very relaxed, sumptuous dining area, fantastic staff, nothing too much trouble, but no harassment or in your face service. The food was delicious a large lobster, beautifully chargrilled, very tasty unlimited lemon dressed salad and endless fries. £50 for 2 meals and 2 cocktails.. Great value.. The wine was rather expensive but the restaurant is inside a gorgeous 5* hotel so it wasn't too shockingly priced... No room for desert! My friends medium rare steak was cooked to perfection and accompanied by a tasty green peppercorn sauce. Food arrived promptly, perfectly cooked and presented. Our cocktails were delicious and exotic, one contained gin, pink grapefruit and passion fruit, the other prosecco, vodka, rhubarb puree and strawberries... I will definitely repeat this dining experience...
We ate at the Steak and Lobster to celebrate our 10 year wedding anniversary. I am so glad we did. The staff there made us feel very special. They were very friendly and informative the overall service was faultless.
The food itself was outstanding the menu choice is the perfect size. Some places have a menu choice so vast that you can never decide.
We had the T bone streak each and I a 1lb lobster too. The steaks were cooked perfectly and the cut of meat was excellent. The lobster again was steamed to perfection and beautifully presented.
I highly recommend this restaurant and we will definitely be back.
Located in the Radisson hotel building, opposite the Opus, this is a nice and quiet restaurant.
The lobsters are well cooked, you can have them steam or chargrilled.
Surf and turf is well served.
Fries and salad as sides are good and are served as much as you can eat.
The team is experienced and always at your service but also discreet.
Great food, service and atmosphere. Located in an amazing area which is not far from many of Manchesters amazing sites.
The service was friendly and very professional and we were taken care of very well.
I would definitely recommend trying the lobster as it tastes amazing and is even better with the sauces provided! However I would recommend that you quickly check up on how to dissamble a lobster or ask the wonderful staff as it is hard work.
Great menu, would dine again.
It's was and absolutely beautiful meal! Only thing that ruined it was that I had to send my steak back as I asked for well done and it came bleeding! The waiters quickly changed it for me and did apologise. When it came back again it wasn't well done either however I did just eat it! The steak was amazing defiantly worth 20 pound! Would recommend to anyone.
Seated and given menus immediately. Drinks order taken. Starters arrived (mushrooms) not very hot, but very tasty. We had half a lobster and half a steak each, you have to ask for half and half. Steak was cooked to perfection and lobster was amazing. Unlimited fries and salad, just ask for more. We d8dnt have desserts. I had seen somewhere that you can have your main meal and a cocktail for £25 each, you have to ask for this otherwise they'll charge you full price. They don't question you though. Service was brilliant, restaurant was spotless and busy. Will definitely return
