tasty food, presented well and served by helpful friendly staff
All I can say is meal was totally awesome and can't wait to return
We were there for father’s day lunch. I appreciate it was a busy day but we waited for an hour before we got our starters and equally longer for our main meal! My starter was pulled jackfruit and it was not good! Too tart I’d say. The mains we ordered were the Sunday roast. It was very very salty! The roast was over done and salty! The gravy did not compliment the roast at all.
I’m a great fan of stem n glory and the food. But the service was slow and the food was very disappointing
My husband came there the first time and I’d really struggle to get him back there. Being a vegetarian it’s sad that we now won’t come as a family to the only veggie place I thought we would make a family favourite!
We have tried a few vegan places to eat out, this was the best by far. The chef was clearly passionate about good food tasting great. The presentation of the food was impeccable, the raw cheesecake amazing. service unfortunately was not as good on this occasion, with wrong orders being placed, but it was quickly resolved and our deserts were not charged for, thank you. We will definitely be returning.
Setting and seating fairly basic and not very spacious but atmosphere friendly and candles and flowers softened the ambience. Absolutely recommended though for the food - incredibly tasty, full of interesting flavours and textures just how vegan food should be!
First time of going, nice place to spend time with friends, great food at a very reasonable price, definitely recommended
Plenty of interesting options. Will definitely return.
Absolutely loved this restaurant, the food was delicious and the staff were very friendly. It is very hard to find and there’s no parking, but worth the extra time for the quality of food. Will definitely be returning 👍🏻
First time eating here. The sevice was efficient and the waiter new the menu and could explain the dishes to us, which was very helpful. The food was very good and well presented. The only downside was the fact that the restaurant is quite small, and when full it was very noisy, making it difficult to converse easily
Our daughters 21st was a huge success as the food and service was fabulous at this outstanding vegan restaurant
We booked the table because we were staying close by and having turned vegan wanted to support a vegan restaurant. The food was priced fairly and it was all tasty but could have been a bit more refined. I love rice and would have liked it with my curry or a carb as there was little protein so not filling enough. The lasagne was nicely done with side salad and seed crackers. We tried a selection of starters which were all enjoyable and presented nicely. It was an enjoyable meal but it was casual dining with a less than casual price tag. It was clearly popular as they were turning away people at the door but it was too close to my home cooking to warrant a return especially as my portions are larger.
We went on a Sunday lunchtime. None of us is vegan but we’d heard good things about Stem and Glory. The location is a bit unlikely but it’s really worth the walk. The food was incredibly tasty and the desserts were sublime, especially the raw blueberry cheesecake with caramelised bananas! We had a slight wait for our main course but were offered a free dessert to compensate. Staff were great, attentive but not fussy. It was busy and noisy at first but got quieter by 2pm. Very good value for such delicious food.
I had the special: avocado tartar, black rice and asparagus. Amazing! So tasty and fresh. Can also highly recommend the aubergine chermoula and nori small places. The staff were super attentive and informed. Love this place!
The food, staff and evening was just amazing
Following a 10 day detox I chose stem and glory to ease back into food and this vegetarian eatery was perfect
All the staff were superb, friendly and passionate about the menu and made the experience even more enjoyable than the food.
Would highly recommend this venue and will be back and trying the cafe version on King Street for the lunch buffet
Wonderful service. Delicious food. So much flavour. Would recommend to anyone .
Wow! Just wow! The simple clean decor, friendly, knowledgeable staff and utterly delicious food were perfect for our gathering. This standard of high end vegan food I have only previously encountered in Gerona! I will be back.
I visited Stem & Glory on a date with my girlfriend. Staff were extremely helpful and offered friendly service. The waiter was very knowledgeable about the different dishes available. Healthy and tasty vegan food. The only negative I had was that there were a few too many menus, but other than that I would definitely visit again!
Went for lunch with my friend’s daughter who has recently turned vegan. So lovely to have a wide variety of well prepared and presented dishes.
Service was friendly and informative but rather slow - even the desserts which must have been preprepared. Luckily the bus to Oxford was caught but it was touch and go!
Being a vegan I had to try this out and was very pleasantly surprised. Tucked away and cosy location, didn't feel cramped. Food was delicious, especially the cheesecake, try it!
I had an evening meal here recently. The evening menu has about 7 starters/appetisers and 5 main course options, plus a couple of specials and 3 deserts, which for vegans is significantly more than you'd ever get at a non-veggie restaurant. Artisan breads and balsamic dip and hummus for starter were excellent. The quinoa and beetroot burger was delicious, though more sweet potatoe chips wouldn't got amiss! My mother had the lasagna with a vegan bechamel sauce which tasted great. If you like chocolate The Dark Chocolate Marquis is heavenly. To drink I had an iced late with almond milk, which wasn't anything special. When I go next time I'd go for a mocha instead. Highly recommended for any vegan, vegetarian or if you want to try something different.
Fantastic vegan food - for vegans and carnivores alike. Exceptionally friendly Argentinian waitress - who explained the menu and answered all of our questions enthusiastic.
Friendly, lively cafe with an excellent vegan menu. Its on the first floor and there is no lift, but wide staircase with rails both sides. Not somewhere you'd go for peace and quiet.
Brilliant food and staff! Great to be in an environment that takes vegan food to a new level.
I’ve always loved the food and friendly staff at Stem and Glory. The food is so healthy and made creatively
It looks appetising
Locally sourced food at its best
Ive always recommended this place to friends, come here and left with a great happy bunch
The staff are awesome
We went as a family of 5 to celebrate our daughter's birthday .She is vegan and has to have gluten free - the rest of us are not ! We were so impressed the food was delicious ,imaginative and beautifully presented and we didn't miss meat at all .
The staff were so friendly and helpful and the chef is a little gem.
Whata lovely lazy sunday lunch with a difference -thank you .
Booked for the evening on the way back from the airport and not disappointed. The food is excellent and it is a vibrant busy place.
After eating at stem and glory I was excited to share it with my non vegan friends and who were willing to give it a try.
After booking a table we all turned up excited to try something different. Once seated we were told the ovens were broken and a number of dishes were off the menu.
We were only given the choice of the 4 fruit juices as drinks .
We chose the burgers and sweet potato fries. The fries were great !
We all had banana cake which was delicious .
I previously raved about the food atmosphere and staff .
I think we experience an off night.
Amazing flavours and hearty vegan food! Would highly recommend.
What a find. Fabulous food, great atmosphere and friendly helpful staff.
Lovely meal and experience.
The meals were well recieved and the ambiance was relaxing.
Our Furst visit it was lovely to have so much delicious choice in the menu. Service and staff were great too.
The location is a little unexpected, upstairs in a large 80s shop unit. But the experience was fantastic from beginning to end...lovely, friendly staff and excellent food. Thanks, we will be back!
Food was delicious and I am glad Stem and Glory is vegan and showing the possibilities for delicious healthy vegan food. Friendly efficient service too.
Delicious food bursting with flavour and beautifully presented. Both the vegans and non-vegans in our group loved it!
For me as new Vegan the food was perfect! Very tasty and nice presentation.
Sadly the room is very loud, you can hardly understand your own word. Not good for nice relax conversation at your lunch. It’s a bit small the room and croudy. Lucky I booked the table for our lunch.
As someone whose just come through bowel cancer I am exploring vegetarianism/ vegan food to eat more healthily. The menu was good and the choices original and tasty. Only criticism was my husband ordered asparagus and potato cakes which was offered as a starter or a main course. He asked for it as a main course (£12)..but it was tiny...there were four pieces of asparagus and 3 potato cakes. We felt this to be mean. We checked with the waitress that he had indeed been given the main course version and she said yes. We were at no point asked whether our meal was OK (as is standard practice in other restaurants) But we thought asking if it was a starter or a main ..telling the waitress he was still hungry and then asking for the menu to order more food because he was still hungry may have made the point that it was completely inadequate as a main course . Short of actually complaining there was nothing more we could do really and we didn't want to complain as other aspects were good. We didn't leave a tip and felt the waitresses were all quite disconnected from their customers..no banter/small talk or waiting pleasantries. Toilets very clean which was another positive.
I love the restaurant and the food was amazing. My only criticism is that my boyfriend and I may be seemingly aliens and not into this whole IPA trend - we both really displike them but your beer menu seems to be all ipas :( we went once before and you had an Indian wheat beer with spices, it was amazing and was a little sad we couldn’t get it again. We would also prefer just normal lager instead of IPA but other than that amazing :)
Fabulous food with great service, brilliant to go into a restaurant and be able to choose anything on the menu.
Only downside is it's upstairs and there is not much daylight.
Would highly recommend this place to everyone regardless of whether you are vegan or not.... Enjoy!
I will definitely be back
Really nice food, worth the 22 mile drive from St Neots. Highly recommend this vegan restaurant. Only downside was the chairs were a little uncomfortable but we were there a while.
Very enjoyable meal all in all.
