New experience of plant based food & drinks for me but found the vegan food tasteless. The service was great.

Food was average. Service was appalling. Worst restaurant etiquette I have ever experienced.
Will not be returning.

A friend recommended this place as I have recently gone vegan & I loved it. The food was brilliant, really creative, colourful & most importantly tasty. And my meat eating friends who had their reservations were pleasantly surprised.

I look forward to coming back & exploring more of the menu & wine list of course!

the food looked and tasted outstanding ! Stem and a Glory should be in the Michelin Guide.
Although we are four omnivores we all said we would become vegans if only we could eat like that all the time. I am so happy to live in an area with such amazing food closeby!

We travelled from London, Derbyshire and Norwich to meet at a central restaurant which catered for vegans. This restaurant, which had more of a cafe ambiance with a restaurant menu, fitted the bill very well.. modern, appeared clean, staff friendly and attentive.

The portions were really very small for the price, I felt and after virtually 3 courses I left feeling I could have eaten more.. and I am someone who dislikes large portions which fill you up. However, the food was imaginative, attractively presented and most importantly...very tasty!

I did contact the restaurant directly 2 days ago with an abundance of compliments but also made this point and they have not responded as yet ...

I enjoyed the three course vegan set menu for valentines with my wife. I'm not vegan but she is and we found we both enjoyed it. We had a great male waiter but was let down by a grumpy female waitress who was quite rude.
Food wise though, can't fault it. Great range of flavours, textures and beautiful presentation. No easy task when serving vegan food. Thumbs up from us!

Thoroughly enjoyable ambience with a wide choice of vegan dishes which were attractively presented and tasty for all 4 of us, vegan or omnivorous alike, backed by an interesting cange of craft beers.

Fabulous food (although slightly salty). The negative aspect is that the food took way too long to arrive.

Great to find a place to go out where you feel like you've had a fairly healthy meal - and not stuffed full of fast food!

Nice cafe style restaurant - cosy enough to chill for a couple of hours!

Found the food at Stem and Glory fantastic and certainly some of the best vegan food I've come across in A restaurant. I usually find that any good vegan dining experience involves a day time cafe and usually self service with bowls of salad, etc. The staff couldn't have been more friendly in what was a very busy evening and guess most nights here are the same. Only complaint was that I found the lasagne portion a bit on the small size. Luckily that was made up for with the large piece of delicious sticky toffee pudding that I had for desert. Regretfully I was only visiting Cambridge otherwise would definitely eat here more often.

Went with two vegetarian, and two non-vegetarian, friends who were staying just down the road. It's a small, functional space, but nicely lit in the evening. The staff were friendly and funny, but the real star here was the food. Like the venue, it's not super-fancy, but this is far from the usual run of vegetarian or vegan fare. Extremely tasty, well-balanced and imaginative. Easily filling and warming enough, even on a very cold February evening. Loved it and would definitely go again.

Stem + Glory goes from strength to strength as the leading vegan restaurant in the city and the region. It is, however, a small venue, and when full (as it so justly deserves to be) can get quite noisy. Arrive early if you want a quieter time. Every item on the menu is delicious, and you must not pass on dessert.

It's a limited menu but all the better for it I'd say. Everyone was really impressed with the taste, the quality and the price of the food and drink on offer. It was slightly odd to share the reception with a lot of scantily clad individuals about to go into a yoga class, but actually that just made it more interesting! It was also a little disappointing that despite having mentioned that we had a 20% voucher for a discount on main meals, this was forgotten when the bill arrived, but it was rectified quickly enough. 9 out of 10 for me!

The food here is amazing and it’s so exciting to be able to order anything off a menu, when you’re usually searching for the one vegan option! It took ages to decide! The main courses were delicious, but I was a bit disappointed with my pud - I don’t have a huge sweet tooth, and wish there’d been something smaller, or fruitier to have instead; I couldn’t finish it.

Lots of cool people eating modern food. Interesting soft drink brands. We thought that the main courses were more delicious than expected and genuinely great dining (protein plate and vegetable bourg.) although we were quite disappointed by the taste of the desserts (sticky toffee and brownie) - except the ice cream on top of the pudding, which was excellent. This was probably because of coming in with preconceptions that vegan oil-based muffins/cupcakes etc are amazing but then choosing desserts made in a different way!

This was not just great vegan food but exceptional food by any standard. Every mouthful was savoured with delight. I would recommend it to anyone and everyone. Perfect for meat eating friends and relatives to learn of the richness and flavour possible in vegan food. Plus all the food is incredibly nutritious and of course cruelty free. The service was great from very warm and friendly staff.

Lovely Burns Night supper with my dad and husband. Food was delicious and my dad, who is not in the least bit vegan, really enjoyed it too. Friendly staff, good choice of drinks and the menu looks like it's expanding all the time. Would recommend!

The food is SO good. My non-vegan friends also loved it. Only niggle: the satay sauce that goes with the rice paper rolls could've been a bit less salty. Other than that, perfect!

We had a good experience of Stem + Glory. Their staff were courteous and friendly. We were seated promptly. The tables are rather tight next to each other so there is a feeling of your space being compromised a little.

The waitress was knowledgeable, patient and helpful.

Our food was made promptly and tasted very good. Nice delicate and punchy flavours. Light textures. We enjoyed the meal and the atmosphere was decent. A sense of chatter and ambient sounds. Nothing to overwhelming. A very family and pet friendly place.

The value was fair, if only slightly on the higher side.

Overall a great restaurant for vegan and vegetarian food. Try it.
