Great food and impeccable service. The lamb shank was delicious and not too big, and the monk fish was crispy on the outside and perfect on the inside.
Possibly the worst dining experience of my entire life of living in London for 40 years. Booked a table for 7:30pm dinner for two to try out this restaurant local to us for the first time. Ordered two starters and two drinks. These items arrived soon after the order and were eaten and drunk by 8pm. Mains were ordered shortly after 8:00pm. At 9:30pm we left the restaurant having not received the mains, no further drinks were offered from 8pm. That’s 2 hours in a restaurant and we were only served two small starters and two drinks, nobody came to check or care about us. Service was shocking. When we decided to walk out at the 2 hour mark, the manager didn’t charge for the starters or the two drinks and frankly I didn’t expect anything less. Needless to say I won’t ever be dining in this pathetic establishment again.
Friendly service , interesting dishes , relaxed atmosphere
Pleasant and cosy Asiatic ambience. Service friendly and attentive. Food tasty and imaginative, but on the expensive size for the portions and the ingredients.
Flavors were excellent, good decor. Service could have been better but not so bad as to be a deal breaker. Would go back for sure!
Busy for a Tuesday night, very friendly service. Had curry puffs and spicy prawns as starters both of which were great. Main course of lamb shank (under cooked) and blackened cod (tiny portion for £24!) were slightly disappointing.
Really enjoyed the food but felt rice portions were a bit on the small side especially the coconut rice. Black pepper prawns were sensational and really lovely service from the waitress
Delicious food, attentive service. I had the lamb shank, mmm!
A bit of a hidden gem. Had the tasting menu and very interesting mix
Gorgeous restaurant, pescatarian tasting menu was amazing 😋
Had a great first experience a few weeks ago, this time didn't seem to live it up to the first. Food wasn't quite as impressive (although still good) and service although nice and friendly, was on the slow side.
This was one of my son’s birthday celebrations. We all had the taster menu. We go to restaurants a lot so we feel we know what good looks like.
It was simply brilliant. Food, wine, ambiance, service as good as it comes.
Everything about this restaurant is great , food was amazing , the mix of textures and combination of tastes was just perfect ..... best meal I’ve had for a while , well done sticky mango. Waitress was great looking after us perfectly too
Delicious , flavoursome food , cocktails great too
Service is fantastic. Our waitress was in incredible, very empathetic towards my child.
Always a treat to eat here. I return regularly as always great flavour and consistency, both difficult to fund in central London. This is my overall favourite place in all of south east London. Very close to southbank.
Innovative and tasty Thai cuisine, serves in ambient environment by knowledgeable and attentive staff. Definitely going back and will recommend to friends.
Dishes variable quality.
Once we got over the rather brusque East European (?) waitress at the start (we warmed to each other by the end -I think she was just a bit nervous) we had a top class meal. All the food was excellent, and one each of the starter, main and desert between us were outstanding. Somebody knows what they're doing in the kitchen for sure! Would go back to try some of the other dishes on the menu. Recommended.
Good find. Had a great meal
Our waiter was incredibly rude and condescending and did not listen to our order. He acted agitated throughout our whole meal. This over shadowed our experience. I didn't particularly enjoy my orders but my peers found theirs tasty.
Unfortunately the food was not as good as last time and we much preferred the restaurant when it was RSJ. Sadly we shall not be returning.
Absolutely super meal, could fault the restaurant staff are lovely and so was the food we ate. Will certainly return wish I had found it sooner.
I can definitely scoff down several of the curry puffs !!
The food was immaculately presented but unfortunately far too salty to eat
My wife and I had a great meal here two weeks ago and came back again on a Friday evening. We really like this little restaurant. The food is unpretentious and delicious. We had green mango salad, curry puffs, satay, noodles and green curry. - all excellent. The service is friendly and efficient and the customers were a nice mix of people - there was an enjoyable buzzing atmosphere. I am fussy and I give it 5 stars!
We chose the pre-theatre menu, which was excellent value accompanied by a fantastic Sancerre. Deliciously fresh food with layers of flavour. Only criticism was our table was rather a squash for 5 of us.
Delicious food with excellent service.
Would absolutely recommend and will definitely return.
Really great Thai food, certainly one of the best places I've been too.. the Mrs loved it as well. Staff super friendly and ambience very warm and relaxing.. the lobster was great..
This was a strange experience - very inauthentic.
Overpriced with extremely average food.
Whilst the old RSJ is sadly missed it's great to see new life emerging on the old site. The tasting menu was wonderful, especially the Thai tiger prawn curry and the theatrical presentation of one of the desserts.
Staff very helpful explaining the menu options as sushi menu also available. Will definitely go back for more.
We have been twice this year. The Kama Sushi pop up is superb. Their special combination sushi is outstanding.
The Sticky Mango menu is delicious, with lots of exciting dishes to share. Each with their own unique flavour! We will definitely return and recommend to people who love sushi and Asian food.
A really great evening with wonderful and expert service. Had the tasting menu, which has been really thoughtfully put together. Great value and you couldn’t possibly have room to finish it all. Would highly recommend
We had a wonderful time. The food was excellent and our server was very friendly and helpful. Will definitely go back again.
Great food, very friendly service. Especially for the touristy area. A little gem.
Exceptional food and service would highly recommend. Just off the beaten path but excellent find for pre theatre avoiding all the bad overpriced food on the Southbank itself.
The ambiance for lunch was hard to tell as it wasn’t very busy and had bad yoga class music playing...
will definitely go again.
Food was amazing! Waiter was helpful and had a great sense of humor.
It Was Blessed
Good pre theatre dinner handy for the National Theatre. Interesting food probably best not to have specific pre theatre menu but quick and attentive service . Would definitely use again when going to the National
