The team at Still on The Mountain make every visit a memorable experience. As usual, the service was great, the food was impeccable and drinks are the best you'll find on the mountain.
We love you Ryan and the Metz Family!
Excellent food, drink and service. Highly recommend the wings, brussel sprouts, duck, scallops, steak, burger... I'll save some time typing and just say everything on the menu is top notch. On the bevy side, the maple bourbon is fantastic, however, you must give all of their cocktails a try! I like to start with a Goombay Smash (Killington's signature drink) to limber up before dinner ;) Enjoy!
The view was lovely and we liked the music choice. The signature drink and the beer we ordered were good. The food was disappointing.
The broccoli appetizer was doused in way too much lemon (way too tart and overpowering...lemon wasn’t even listed as an ingredient for the seasoning for that app )
Sunday is a burger (or chicken sandwich) special day. So we tried them. The burger was ok, nothing special but the fried chicken sandwich was wayyyyy overdone and the fries with both orders were so overdone they were more like crunchy veggie straws than a French fry. We’d choose another venue in the Killington village next time.
Great food and service, family atmosphere we keep coming back !! The food is always wonderful and the service prompt and friendly . I would recommend highly!
Drinks were not great for a distillery
Kudos to anyone who can open a very good restaurant in a pandemic. Still on the Mountain has a tasty, varied menu that is not too big. Management still needs to work through normal growing pains of getting the timing right to serve the food as soon as it comes out of the kitchen, but this is a minor issue. Restaurant does a great job with COVID procedures, distancing and cleanliness. As someone who has been to the former site (Santa Fe Steakhouse) the transformation is remarkable. The space is fresh, clean and modern, and shows off the great mountain views. Food and cocktails are top notch. I know that as a Distillery, the focus is not on wine selections, but that would be an enhancement to consider since the entrees are flavorful and interesting. What a welcome addition to the Killington community. This will be part of my regular restaurant circuit for sure.
Hi KateD! Thank you for the nice words. And guess what? We just launched a wine list with some very nice bottles available. Hope to have you pleasantly surprised next visit. Howie and the Still on the Mountain Team
We had dinner in one of the gondolas, hence a lower noise level. But so much fun! Worth every penny
Food was great, just a little loud in there. We were on the first floor. Awesome view of the mountain.
Good food, good vibes great drinks. I highly recommend
Talented Chef and great distillery inspired drinks.
The team there was very attentive and my wife and I had a wonderful experience. Can’t wait to come back!
waitress literally ignored us the whole time we were there..took forever just to get her attention & order. I never write reviews but the service here is horrible. food was good & they had games but it was definitely not worth the wait.
Food and service where good. Ask to be seated in the main dining room. Front room really noisy from music and nothing to absorb sound. Good dinner for skiing spot,
Great spot. Delicious homemade drinks and farm fresh food. Highly recommend. Wonderful view of Killington Ski mountain.
I was so looking forward to trying the Distillery. Not good from the get go. Glass was cracked in my vodka tonic. No big deal. Switched glass. Brought back drink. It was a vodka soda. Took at least 15 minutes for a new one. My husband ordered a beer which they did not have. Waiter just brought a different one and said try this one and see if you like it. We sat down at 645 and never got food until after 8. Food was good, but so annoyed by the time it came,it was not that enjoyable . Disappointed.
Food was good and service was fantastic! My favorite waiter a young guy was the best! Love the outdoors area for drinks and cocktails so worth a visit great Mountain View’s.
Food was good but portions were on the small side. Service was slow but our waiter was friendly. Had to listen to a noisy, crying baby throughout dinner.
Howie is the best bartender and Briarlie and the best server! Made my husband's birthday a special one!
Food and drinks are excellent!
OMG Sybil thank you for coming. We love you both! Howie!
Very good food and drinks! Definitely worth a stop for dinner or apres ski
Service took forever, everything came out cold. Waiter was friendly though.
This place has a lot going for it...location and ambiance being at the top of the list. They need to work on getting the food to the table while it is still warm. Also, given that the bottle of whiskey is for sale up the stairs for $30, the drink prices seem high, especially when the consistency in the quality of the drinks vary as much as they do.
Great spot. Great food, beers and spirits. if its nice out sit in the front yard. great mountain views.
Nice atmosphere, friendly service. I got a mule that didn’t have much of a ginger beer kick. Food was good (especially Brussel sprouts), but came out slowly.
Delicious cocktails and appetizers in a creative setting. Cozy bar with fireplace and an upstairs room with a view of the mountain and games to play. Also a nice area outside with fires going to keep you warm.
The food was excellent, we came back for the second time within a couple of days!
Food is really good! They have some work to do on the lower level dining area - it feels more like a cafeteria vibe. Great beer and cider selection! Some really unique and tasty options.
Great meal and experience at the bar! Delicious cocktails!
everything was amazing!! this was my boyfriend’s favorite restaurant we went to while in vermont for the weekend!
Absolutely love this place! Every time I come to Killington - I make a point to come here. The food is absolutely delicious and their drink menu is extensive and unique. Our server, Christian, was friendly, enthusiastic, and helpful with any questions we had about the menu. It’s close in proximity to the mountain & I couldn’t recommend it enough!
Our server (I think Jack?) was great, so friendly and accommodating! The chicken wings and gnocchi were great, even though the Brussels sprouts were too soggy. Our drinks were also top-notch. overall, we had a great time and would definitely come back!
Gin is the best server! He is very accommodating and personable. Also, everything we ordered on the food menu was perfectly cooked and portioned and the drinks are creative and delicious. My new favorite spot in Killington.
Amazing! Gorgeous place!
Great food and drinks. Staff was very friendly!!
Interesting drinks from their own distillery
Bourbon was outstanding
Got bone in pork chop with polenta very good not dry at all
Worth a visit
Food and drinks were great. Service was exceptional. They were very accommodating when we ask to be move.
Food was good. Portion size was on the small size. Unfortunately we were seated in the front dining room right next to the door to the outside area. We had to wear our jackets and hats since the door opened every 2 minutes the entire time and it was frigid. Made the entire evening unfortunate....
Portions were small for the price and it was freezing inside.
Gin our waiter rocked super friendly and great recommendations.
Awesome drinks food was good and amazing views of mountain. Will definitely be back
Excellent food. Beautiful presentation. Great cocktails. Very attentive staff.
Great experience (with Covid19 overtones)the staff was great, food was good and we would definitely visit again!
