It was nice my husband and I really enjoyed it

Food was ok. Wasn’t blown away. All of our steaks were over cooked. We did the restaurant week menu and they were out of the dessert, so the waiter brought us slices of cheesecake. It tasted like frozen cheesecake from the grocery store.

Service was definitely sub-par, but it wasn’t worrisome. Just seemed short staffed.

Prices are too high for no reason. I had fillet mignon steak - it was lonely piece of meat on a plate - not even single green next to it. For nearly $60 6 oz steak - meat was very dry and tasteless. Place was full though, I don’t know what attracts people to this place with such menu prices and very very kitchen. Won’t go back

My husband and I visited this establishment on March 27th and I’d like to begin by saying service was excellent. Our server was Marcus (from NY) and he was very attentive, energetic and a joy to talk too. The staff was attentive as well, as our plates were cleared soon after we were done with each course. That was the highlight of the night.

About the meal: I had the lobster linguini and my husband had steak. My pasta was over cooked with a few pieces of lobster, I expected better for $47. My husband said his steak was ok. We definitely expected the food to be comparable to the price. It wasn’t by far.

About the ambiance: if you’re over 40, this may not be the place for you. When I think steakhouse, I think jazz music and a laid back atmosphere. STK offers a DJ playing loud music and a party atmosphere. Imagine four-star meal prices with an Applebee’s vibe.

I think STK caters to the younger crowd and if you like music blasting and partying while you enjoy your average meal, check them out.

Hi first timer here. I came here to celebrate my birthday. Calamari was very good.
My entree was cowgirl ribeye and brussel sprouts.

1st Steak I asked for it to be cooked medium came to the table it was over cooked. Medium well. I cut all the way into the steak. So I told him I didn’t want it.

2nd steak came less than 10 minutes, It was completely charred on the outside to the point I loss my appetite. I tasted 4 pieces it tasted burnt and the charring was unacceptable. I cut in different areas of the steak...Daniel the waiter apologized. I had him take it back

1st Brussel sprouts were hard and crispy and tasted old.
Second batch tasted much better. But I ended up taking them Home.

I think after 2 steaks being sent back a manager should have said something. Guest table of 6 people. One other person said their steak was overbooked but didn’t want to be a bother so she ate half and didn’t take the other half home.

However no one in management to my surprise came to the table. One lady
(a manager) did walk pass but never said anything to me. Everyone else enjoyed their meal. Except me.
This was a disappointment especially when some people recommended I celebrate here.
But I did enjoy the ambience of the restaurant.

The waiter was great, you can tell he was overwhelmed with the volume though. The restaurant seemed understaffed. The cut of steaks were fabulous but everything else was just okay. Our sides/sauces came after dinner was served as well. There were 4 of us and our bill was just under $700 so I’d expect much better from a quality standpoint. Bummer, I’ve wanted to try STK for a bit and sad to say, we won’t be back. I wouldn’t even put them in the top 20 for Chicago steakhouses.

The apps were great but our steaks were tough and over peppered. The steak is supposed to be the star and it was less than impressive.

First time at this restaurant and we really enjoyed it. Restaurant Week is awesome!!

The atmosphere is more like a night club than a high end streak house. We arrived at four and the place was basically empty and the hostess gave us a hard time about where we could sit. We said we would sit outside and she said a table opened up inside. She proceeded to sit us next to a three table party that was very load. The happy hour drinks and appetizers are misleading and the portions are small. The prices are extremely high compared to other high end steak houses.

Celebrating my bday it was such a fun time! Definitely enjoyed our entire time there!

This is was my 2nd time here, 1st time was good. This time it was loud, our food was cold. I saw booty shorts, twerking, and attitudes from certain staff members. Our waiter was amazing though. He made the experience better. Overall, I would not recommend and probably won’t be back.

The server was very attentive and the DJ there had some of the best music selections and mixing that it rivals even some the clubs in Chicago.

It was alright compared to the other steakhouses in the area. Nothing was particularly bad but nothing was spectacular.

Food was great! I also enjoyed the ambiance and cocktails.

Drinks were superb , food good .. service not bad but I think my waitress was less attentive and so was the bartender so I gave her 15 percent only which I’m a big tipper usually

We had to wait 45 minutes before being seated for our 8:15 reservation. The hostess would not tell us any timeframe of when we should expect to be seated, just that they were “moving as fast as possible”. The food service was also very slow, we were not served our main course till 2 hours after our initial reservation time. The ambiance and decor of the restaurant were nice, but it seemed more like a club atmosphere

The food was great, however my reservations was at 8pm I wasn’t until seated 8:50pm because they over booked on reservations & was running behind. The manager said it was a 25 minute wait but it was almost an hour wait & they had everyone standing outside due to covid restrictions. The food was great but the hour wait destroyed the entire experience..

Made a reservation at 8, we checked in around 7:45, wasnt seated till 8:44, didnt eat till about 9:15 ish. Ambiance is nice, good music mix, pretty loud but we like it — didnt feel like we had to whisper or keep quiet, our server Jarred (think thats his name? Sorry if we spelled it wrong) was nothing but amazing! The food was also really good. Besides poor time management, worth the money.

Had reservations on Saturday night at 7:45pm. We didn't get sat at our table till 8:30pm. Many other patrons were in the same boat and a few ended up leaving. There was zero urgency by staff to provide updates or even get people seated quicker. There are much better Steak places in Chicago. I will not be going back.
