There was an issue with the bill spoke to the manger and he said he would fix it because we were giving the wrong menu by our waitress but at the end nothing was fixed still paid the incorrect price due to her mistake not ours the manger said he would fix it but he absolutely didn’t knowing we were telling the truth about being giving the wrong menu. It should have be honored because it was the waitress mistake not ours
Is was good 🍸
Great customer service from the door. The weather quickly changed, however they accommodated us w/out delay. I highly recommend this venue and would I’ve to return.
Great food and ambiance!
Our experience was very underwhelming. My group waited too long for a server to attend, we were placed inconveniently between a “birthday party” where covid rules were NOT followed given there had to be between 15-20+ people, not to mention many standing out of chairs between the space, the food was very unappetizing and for the value it was despicable. Definitely would never attend again or recommend STK rooftop to a friend. There are so many other rooftop choices in nyc that are reasonably priced with great service and quality, let alone who follow covid restrictions.
Amazing vibe, food, service. We came here and stayed on rooftop for a birthday dinner celebration. Much needed outing for my two girlfriends and I. Thank you for an amazing evening, STK!
Excellent service and Great food 👌🏼
The food is amazing. The views from roof top are nice. Dispite the cloudy weather it was a great evening.
Mother’s Day with my wife
Great Cocktail, we took just a dessert that was not outstanding
Came here on a Friday night with my wife. Got seated in the center of the rooftop with the weather getting colder. Asked four times to get a heater or change our seats - denied each time with the excuse of not enough heaters. Other tables had heaters and a couple who came and sat down as we were eating was given a heater that miraculously showed up. Wife and I were both freezing throughout dinner and felt sick when we got home. We were the only Asian couple in the restaurant so not sure if that had something to do with it. Definitely won’t be getting out business again.
The waitress forgot our main course, we never got it but I do appreciate the appetizers, the drinks and the view. She was nice but she probably needed a break, she looked tired. Overall it was a great experience.
We had high hopes, but STK fell short, especially for the price. The music was incredibly loud— we yelled at each other all night. In a group of 6, even with yelling, we couldn’t hear from opposite ends of the table. We were seated in the uncovered area, with no choice or explanation about how one part would be more heated than the other part. It wasn’t quite warm enough to be on the windy rooftop without a heater, so we shivered through our meal. Our waiter was great— tried to turn down the music for us, moved us to a table that had an outlet nearby for a portable heater— but it wasn’t working. The food and drinks were good, but not so mindblowingly good that it was worth the price. So, while it was still a fun night, we just didn’t think STK was all it wanted to be.
I thought it was too loud for the time (early evening). Better to amp things up as the night settles in. Also, I asked for a twist in my gin martini, but it came with olives. Second martini was right.
It was perfect the food was great the table was awesome the waiter was very attentive and kind
Love STK ROOFTOP!
Amazing energy, cool vibe and great food . Awesome staff too
The setting and service was amazing
Great place for a date. Too bad they have to close at midnight. The service was awesome
We were seated without a heater, when we asked to switch to an empty table with a heater, they gave it to someone else who came after us! We were freezing the entire time. The service was very poor, took 20 mins to get our drink orders in. We had to flag several people down and no one would take our order kept asking us to wait for our server. We ordered a bottle of champagne, the wrong bottle was brought to us and it took an additional 15 mins for the right one to come. We ordered burrata, wagyu and mac and cheese all of which were not cooked well and tasted bland. $200+ bill for an 2-3 star experience
A very special place for special occasions.
Great experience and food was excellent
Great food. Awesome service. Fun rooftop
AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING love the food drinks and service will definitely be going back.
It was great environment and great staff, but terrible food
First time at STK. Lunch on the rooftop was a great experience. Windy, cool day but the there were plenty of space heaters to keep guests comfortable. Check in was especially helpful. A member of my party was late and our reservation was held as we sat in comfortable ‘cabana’ style heated tables on the sidewalk. Mask protocol was followed. Very good brunch style menu selection but somewhat pricey, although expected for that style of venue. Very happy to see so many people enjoying STK, gives you hope that the pandemic is ending and NYC is coming back!
Terrible experience. The hostess outside was extremely rude and condescending to everyone that wished to speak with her, made everyone wait 30 mins past their reservation. Truly hope they make the smart decision to hire someone who treats their patrons with respect, given we are spending on average over $120 per person.
Had to wait 30 mins after reservation to sit down, then was told we had to sit without heaters. Place was short staffed and undercooked food. Ambiance was incredible but tough situation to deal with.
We asked to be seated away from the speaker which was right above the birthday persons head and player at a very high volume. No one came to say that wasn’t possible and basically had us wait it out until we gave up and just stayed put. But then a different waitress came over and said we used up some of our 90 minutes which to me is obnoxious. She stated that on a night like this we need to be worried about getting other parties in so we needed to order all our food at once after we gave her appetizers. So we quickly ordered. I’ve been coming to this particular STK for years. I have a picture of a big party I had there in the inside in 2014. We ordered drinks apps, entrees, sides and dessert. The umbrella above us did not light up so when it got dark others enjoyed the lighted umbrellas but we did not. Then it began to rain and the waitress ignored us. We got up and went inside. She was inside fumbling with a bunch of checks. Maybe trying to close people out that we’re getting rained on but we ordered dessert so we stood around waiting for it then took the doughnuts to go. My bill was over $500 with a $70 tip it was almost $600 for sub par service and atmosphere. Food was good as always. Compliments to the chefs but I’m not spending limited opportunities to dine out during a pandemic where I spend hundreds of dollars and not be happy at the end of the night.
Came for happy hour. Luke was great to us!
Overall disappointed. Service was lacking - caesar salad was dry and the mushroom truffle tagliatelle was drowned in sauce. One could not have a conversation the music was so loud. We order a red wine that came out chilled and by chance the manager happen to walk by and had to correct the issue.
Food is incredibly overpriced ... even when your willing to pay more for the covid impact on restaurants. And they’re trying to crest a hip vibe on the roof by simply blasting music. That’s not how this works. Should have Easter downstairs.
the chilean sea bass entree cost $51 and for that, I got a TINY piece of fish with a huge vegetable trying to make up for the small piece of fish. So obnoxious. That dish must have a 300 percent profit margin on it. so not worth it.
the appetizer was good. the service was lack lusture.
the rooftop is nice but not nice enough to make up for the bad, overpriced entree.
Wonderful experience, ambiance was perfect. A bit chilly but the heaters were perfect.
Thanks for making my wife's birthday spectacular.
My gf and I were looking for a place with good music and great food and this was the place to go! Thank you again!
Visiting Ny and tried this for the first time. The vibe and view were awesome
Extremely disrespectful staff. Arrived 2 minutes past the 15 minute grace period (the street was closed so we had to walk there), and the hostess proceeded to tell me that they couldn’t accommodate me, and had to immediately leave because they were “busy”. The bouncer was extremely rude. I wonder why these people think they are entitled to something.
Very disappointed with the ambiance and cleanliness of this establishment. Was expecting better.
I have been a New Yorker for 20+ years and this was by far one of the worse dining experiences. Without taking account the 20 minute we waited for a table (although I had reservations) the waitress got my order wrong. When I received my actual meal, the steak was cooked rare as opposed to medium, and the lobster was overcooked and very dry. She checked in on us once. Then we waited 15 minutes just to receive the check. We were not asked if we wanted dessert, or needed any drinks. By the time the check came, our dishes were still on the table. Horrendous experience. Not worth the time, or the money. Go down the block and you'll find much better establishments.
