Ston Easton Park Hotel
As well as the exquisite Georgian oak-panelled Sorrel Restaurant, there are a number of private dining rooms available for special occasions, intimate celebrations as well as larger dinner parties.
Our Head Chef creates daily dishes in accordance to the ingredients grown in the Wells hotels Victorian kitchen garden by our dedicated Gardeners, Steve and Dale. The dishes are dictated largely on the ingredients available seasonally, producing the best possible flavours. We pride ourselves on using only the finest, freshest and seasonal produce to provide a sumptuous dining experience.
My partner and I had the most fabulous experience here. We were treated like royalty by the manor team and the manor itself was spectacular inside and out. We had the most amazingly delicious food... really interesting menu, beautifully cooked and a visual delight. Will definitely be going back!
My wife & I came for Sunday lunch.
Excellent menu, staff very attentive as always, but not intrusive.
Food was superb. Was very pleased to be offered how we wanted our meat cooked( as no other restaurant we have been to has offered this).
Good selection of wine as usual.
Also managed to say hello to Oscar again.
Very enjoyable experience.Best Sunday lunch we have had for a long time.
Always love coming here, beautiful setting and great food.
This was a gift and we absolutely love everything about it. Beautiful setting and amazing food, will definitely be going back
We have been here before as it's just a few miles from home, the atmosphere at Ston Easton Park is delightful, the service a little slow but not as to be a real problem, the menu fairly contained which I like because you can pretty well guarantee it will be produced to order not taken from the freezer and into the microwave. Each course and the wines were delightful and all the staff were very nice.
Beautiful country house hotel that still feels like a country house. Stunning interiors, lovely ambience, very relaxed and friendly staff. Lovely dog friendly hotel, beautiful sitting rooms you just want to relax in, huge rooms, stunning views. Small complaint, coffee is too weak and only some of the bar staff know how to make a good cocktail - that wouldn’t stop me coming again, loved it.
We had the 7 course taster menu with the accompanying wine flight. The food was presented nicely but looked far better than it tasted. Our primary complaint is that we paid Michelin star prices for way below Michelin standard food.
The taster menu was £75 per head and the wine flight a further £38 each. Compared to Casamia in Bristol, this was an extortionate amount for what we got.
Ston Easton combines old school charm with modern day service expectations. It was a milestone (60) birthday for my wife, she was thrilled by the excellent food, service and hospitality demonstrated by a very professional team at Ston Easton
Many Thanks to all

We very much enjoyed our lunch for my husband's birthday - limited choice of menu but the choices were interesting and varied, beautifully prepared cooked and presented. The dining room and hotel have lots of character and the staff were very attentive - we were invited to look around the hotel whilst we were there. The only criticism was that it was so quiet - a Monday lunchtime isn't the busiest time of the week I guess. We could hear everything that the one other couple in the dining room were saying and that made us reticent about having a conversation ourselves.
A beautiful setting with attentive staff and a wonderful meal. A very enjoyable time.
Really enjoyed our meal at Ston Easton for our Wedding Anniversary. Highlight was the excellent quality and presentation for the food. . Overall a little quite in the restaurant for our liking but, that aside, we really had the most wonderful time. Would recommend highly.
Wonderful food and great service from Emma but did take a while to get seated. No children’s menu but they did prepare something for our 3 year old on request which was helpful.
Regular visitor, absolutely love it. Always excellent food and very reasonable prices.
Fabulous food - meal on Thursday night was so good that we decided to do the tasting menu on the Saturday night. Very reasonable at 75 pounds for 7 courses. Really excellent food, beautifully presented, with a good use of colour and texture. They have a relatively new food and beverage manager, who needs to do a bit of work with the front of house team, but for us it just meant taking our time over a really lovely meal!
Great location and stunning setting. Could not be a better experience.
Went to Sorrel Restaurant to celebrate a special anniversary. It was our first visit and we were not disappointed. The food was was cooked to perfection. My wife and I had venison and my daughter the cod. The unusual desserts were superb.
A truly remarkable experience.
It was our first visit to Ston Easton. We were surprised by how quiet it was, 7pm on a Thursday night.
The decor was a little tired and the grounds looked like they needed a bit of TLC. There was a lack of ambience as it was so quiet, felt like we had to whisper while eating our meal.
However the food was excellent and didn’t disappoint. Staff were very attentive. Generally lovely experience.
