Global, International
Stork restaurant elegantly infuses West African and Eastern European inspired cuisines to present something uniquely British, unprecedented in London.
Expect seasonal menus passionately created and expertly created using the proprietors pioneering architype that will harvest its allure to London's curious and experimental diners and gastronomes. Serving Set menu, Small Plates, A la Carte.
Spread over two floors, 120 covers are spoiled with mixologist-made cocktails, fine wines and late licence on weekends.
As contrasting as it sounds the two cuisines and cultures are connected through an ancient process, known as bird migration. Flying over 2000 miles from cold Eastern Europe to warm Western Africa, bringing along the best from each land. Storks stand as symbol of the migration and have positive cultural meanings.
In European culture they represent a new beginning, in African loyalty, devotion, in Asian good luck and all of them represent the foundation of our concept.

Very unethical and disrespectful team. They canceled my reservation 2 hours before dinner saying they had a gas leak in the kitchen. A few hours larer I saw they were running a private event for celebrities...

My friend and I went here for his birthday. I expected the restaurant to be packed, and serving a fusion of West African and modern European dishes. The month of August is often quiet, and so we had the devoted attention of the staff. It was probably we only chose from the set menu that the food was more modern European, but in spite of rather small portions, as of good quality and well presented. The highlight for me was an exotic dessert, complete with chocolate soil, tree trunk and topped with candy floss!
A good venue, friendly staff and I hope to arrange a return visit soon...

I made a booking for stork on Sunday for the same day and was confirmed however on arrival - it was closed. I called and no answer - I checked their website and opentable and it clearly says open 12-9pm on Sunday. Unimpressed that I drove in all the way from Kent to try out this restaurant that I had been looking forward to showing off to a friend of mine

Excellent decor, excellent food, we sat on the sofas upstairs and despite running very late they catered to us and they were extremely courteous and attentive...(could also do with the fact that we were super late and they wanted to go home before 1am lol)
The sirloin even well done was juicy and succulent and flavoursome!
We will definitely be going back. If you do choose to go assign £200 upwards for your meal minus alcohol.
Thank you Stork! x

This restaurant has been open just 3 weeks. The design and interior are very plush and expensive looking. We went for the set menu deal and advised them more than 3 weeks before the booking that a guest is gluten, lactose and lectin intolerant. We were told that she couldn't have a pudding as they didn't have any sorbet! Eventually chef came up with a fruit salad with coulis. They ran out of house rose after one bottle and even though we were the only table bar one, it was impossible to get any good service, they were just busy chatting to each other as if we were an inconvenience. The food was good, well cooked and delicious, however everything else was pants. There wasn't any loo paper in the loo either and we had to ask twice to get some. Whoever owns this place needs to get a good manager in there pronto or this will fail before it's even begun.

The food is very good...although quite disappointed by the experience.

2 slices of plantain bananas in the plate when ordering the sirloin...it's quite surprising. I think that when you charge £28 a main it should include more than just the steak and a bowl of salad. Although both were very tasty.

I took my son to Stork for his 13th birthday. I was reeally keen to introduce him to fine dinning but it was a disastrous experience. We ordered the same first and second courses and a couple of sides. we were served the first and second course (for one person) + the sides all at the same time. the waiter placed first course infront of me and the main infront of my son. Initially i thought there had been a mistake with his first course , i pointed this out to the waiter and she agreed. i didn't want to create a fuss so we proceeded to have our meal, the waiter returned to inform me that what my son was having was actually a main. we were confused to say the least!! The waiter who took the order had only placed an oder for 1 person instead on two!!My son had already started eating so he continued. after another long wait he was served his starter!!! I got my main course but it was such a small portion (it felt like i had been given left overs! I complained that our evening had been ruined. without notice we were offerred free deserts however we do not like creme brulee.
what was meant to be a memorable occasion now leaves me with a sour taste in my mouth everytime i think of it!!! still fuming!!

Food was average yet expensive. That was likely due to location rather than quality. I was disappointed. Staff very attentive and professional. Nice atmosphere but food and menu generally definitely need improvement.

The food was good, there are many gluten free options and many options which can be adapted to make gluten free. The service was good, and the set menu offers great value. Presentation is amazing, and the service is fantastic.

Pleasant enough lunchtime set menu, reasonably priced. I couldn’t detect any of the “west African” influence in what I ate.

Excellent customer service! The food was delivered on time and cooked to perfection. A very relaxed ambience with music in the background made the experience even more worthwhile. I would definitely recommend this restaurant to anyone willing to be adventurous with their taste buds

Wonderful service but portions were small and they’re new so still working out the kinks. In time, it’ll be a neighborhood gem.

Three of us dine for lunch. Great menu choice and dishes, we tried the lobster, crab and a few of the smaller dishes, puff puff which we'd not had before. It was all delicious. For mains we had duck, wild bass and chicken suya, again cooked to perfection. The sides were great, the cauliflower just the best. For dessert we shared a cheese board and tried the Papnasi, again a first. Really lovely flavours in all the dishes and I'd highly recommend. Well done to the Chef!

Stork's interior design is really beautiful. You could say that it is instagrammable. I tried the Halibut which was amazingly cooked. You should try it! The waiters were very friendly and accommodates to every need. They were all smiling and were very good all round. Recommend!
