Went to StreetXO last Saturday. Blown away and I'm seriously picky about quality in restaurants. Myself and my wife have been to dozens of Michelin restaurants (1,2 and 3) and are big foodies but hate the pomp and seriousness of the Michelin scene. This food is better than any Michelin 2 star I have ever been in. Creativity and flair like I have rarely seen. Extremely cool place. Staff incredible. If you're after incredibly flavoured, innovative food in an informal, unpretentious but seriously cool setting you will not beat StreetXO. I can't imagine coming back to London for a weekend and not going there.
The only thing that bothered me is that we had to pay for tap water, I think that for the service you are offering and the price of the experience, the water should be free. Everything else was perfect. I'll recommend it.

Fantastic experience. Food and service were outstanding. The only that marred the experience slightly was that for a table of 3 when the bill came we were so happy that we just handed the credit card over and asked the manager to add 12% service charge.
It would have been much more classy for him to tell us that this had already been added and charged to the bill. We would probably have said to add another 5% at that point.
We will certainly be back but I will be sure to check the bill next time.
Overall, quite different from his restaurant in Madrid but no less so a ‘must’ visit for anyone who seeks the maximum restaurant experience in creativity and flavor.

La respuesta exacta es sí y no. Sí porque es una experiencia asistir a un restaurante de un 3 estrellas Michellin sin ser 3 estrellas Michellin. Para los que no podemos permitirnos asistir a Diverxo, acudir a StreetXo es una oportunidad para conocer la cocina de Dabiz Muñoz. Y porque la comida está rica y el local no es el "típico local".
Pero fuera de esto, no lo recomendaría si lo que quieres es tomar tu propio menú y estás dispuesto a pagar el doble si vas a comer el doble.
Y con esto quiero decir que no entiendo como a mi pareja y a mí nos han limado una pata de pulpo y una pata de cordero, además de una tarta, y nadie me puede explicar el motivo.
Nosotros éramos 2 y pedimos 2 menús degustación con la idea de no quedarnos con hambre y de que, ya que estamos allí, aprovechar.
Pues bien, según el menú, en los primeros platos, dentro de que nos lo servían para compartir, las cantidades correspondían a las de 2 menús, pero cuando llegó el pulpo y veo que solo nos ponen una pata de pulpo para los 2, pregunté a una camarera que me dijo muy amablemente que la idea del chef es la de compartir y tal. Bien, yo me quedé muerta porque entiendo la idea del chef e, incluso, puedo llegar a entender que nos lo pongan en el mismo plato, pero que solo haya una pata de pulpo... bueno, pensé: igual es más grande que las patas de pulpo de los menús individuales. Pero con el cordero nos hicieron lo mismo!! Solo había una pata de cordero en el plato y allí todas las patas de cordero que pasaban por delante de nosotros eran del mismo tamaño... Y para rematar, la tarta... solo una tarta!!! El postre que es lo mejor y me hacen compartirlo!! Bueno, yo pensaba que nos habrían entendido mal y que nos estarían sirviendo un solo menú y como tal, nos cobrarían un solo menú. Pues nada más lejos de la realidad!!! Nos clavaron 75 libras por cada menú y nos limaron una pata de pulpo y otra de cordero que, por cierto, en la explicación nos dijeron que era lechal, pero lo dudo... soy segoviana...

Overall it was a good dining experience with a good group of friends. The food was tasty, the staff was friendly and the ambiance was cool. We are fans of the owner chef and had high expectations for the restaurant. While the experience and food was good. it was not great and a tad bit underwhelming.

PRECIO: la gestión del precio ha roto la magia de la experiencia. Creo que aplicar el 12% de propina sobre el precio del servicio es una broma de mal gusto. Se supone que es un cargo discrecional, que no está sometido a norma, y desde luego que ha sido así. Es lamentable que después del coste de cada plato, que ya es muy elevado asumiendo la calidad del servicio, decidan aplicarte, sin preguntar, un cargo adicional del 12% en concepto de propina. Las propinas se dan voluntariamente y NADIE PREGUNTÓ. Seguramente, si hubieran preguntado, como nos hicieron en otros establecimientos de Londres, habríamos aceptado con gusto. Pero después de esto, nos hemos sentido engañadas.
TIEMPO: nada más entrar la persona que nos recibe nos avisa de que tenemos 2h para pasar en el restaurante, y cuando se cumplan, si no nos hemos ido, se nos invitará a que nos vayamos. Lo que ya parece un poco desagradable inicialmente termina siendo una situación de incomodidad cuando va pasando el tiempo, y transcurren los minutos sin que nos atiendan, con demasiado tiempo entre plato y plato, y esperando 25 minutos de reloj por el postre. Finalmente salimos 15 minutos más tarde de las dos horas, y terminas la experiencia pensando en si va a llegar una persona de seguridad a pedirte que te vayas.
FINALMENTE la experiencia ha terminado con muy mal sabor de boca a pesar de la delicia de los platos. Creo que a veces se olvidan de que los clientes son personas.
Recomendaría el restaurante de Madrid, pero NO el de Londres.

It was AMAZING!! I highly recommend this restaurant to everyone. We went for my boyfriend's birthday and they were really nice and helpful. The cocktails were amazing too!! We had the 7 course tasting menu, of which 4 dishes were delicious: the gyoza with pig's ear, the ramen, the socarrat, and the octopus. The first 2 dishes, the lamb and the desert were nothing to write home about.

Creative and exciting menu, delicious food, very friendly and attentive (but not too attentive) staff. Fusion done right without trying too hard. We loved it. Worth a try for something a little different.
Hicimos el menú de 45libras, la comida estaba muy rica, algunos platos más que otros. El lenguado tendría que haber habido dos platos, y no uno solo para compartir... No soy de comer mucho, pero salí de allí zero saciada por lo que pienso que le falta algún plato para ser perfecto.
Llegamos unos 15 minutos después de la hora de reserva y sin problema.
El servicio muy amable pero nos pillo el cambio de turno y nuestras camareras se fueron quedando un poco desamparados porque nadie sabía que nos faltaba un postre pero en cuanto lo dijimos al momento.
Lo mejor los postres! Brutales! Totalmente recomendado!
My partner and I went last night for dinner, a quiet Wednesday in mid-January, to celebrate his birthday. I am so glad we came, because the food is truly special and it was a mind-blowing experience. Yes, it is expensive but if you are after a special restaurant that is also innovative and unique, this is it! If you have booked here, then I guess you know what sort of prices you can expected from a restaurant with this pedigree. It was phenomenal eating experience: all of the 7 dishes we had shared between us were cooked and presented to perfection. Our waitress (a lovely Italian girl from Sardenia) was very efficient and helpful. Note that my partner is a celiac too so we stuck to the gluten free options but we definitely did not feel we were missing out on anything (there are plenty of choices). This was a night to remember and I really hope to be coming back here one day! Hats off to chefs!

Disappointing. It was a gift for my partner and it turned out to be a stressful experience. It turned out that the same day the system fell, and they were saturated. We had a reservation at 9:30 PM and they sat us at the table at 10:30 PM, it took us 3 hours to have dinner. We chose the 75 tasting menu that contains 7 dishes and the dessert. After taking 5 dishes to the table and after 30 minutes, we were missing 2 dishes that we didn't know we were missing. The food was very good, but overpriced. After all this, they also added 12.5% service to the account. I understand that the system failure was not the fault of the staff. But such a restaurant should have assumed all the responsibilities.
I went with my boyfriend for his birthday. The food and also the waiter was also excellent but the organisation was very awful.
We weren't seated until 9.30pm for an 8pm reservation. They then took away our wine when it was half full and tried to charge us the full price. This place doesn't take customer service seriously, which is a shame as the food wasn't bad.
Food generally very good, but service is really patchy and chaotic. The staff are well intentioned but all seem very stressed out and disorganised and it really detracts from the experience. I wouldn’t go back.
Food was excellent, I would recommend it.
The host was not to pleasant and tried to move us on before dessert was even served and asked us if we could eat it at the bar as they had another booking. This caused unnecessary anxiety amongst our group and could not enjoy the rest of our time and meal together.
They were unwilling to offer an alternative to one of the courses from the Dégustation menu which was disappointing.
