Incredible meal. Went with the 8 course meal with the elevated wine pairing. Each course was unique and had such a perfect combination of textures and flavors. Would definitely recommend this to anyone visiting Miami. And also, arrive hungry

The menus is quite small so there are not too many choices. I have to say that the food was not bad but overall nothing too exciting and extremely expensive.

One of the best experiences we’ve had while traveling! My wife was 30 weeks pregnant and has been having a hard time eating outside of our home...we devoured everything! Ambience, service, food were all excellent. Thank you for the wonderful dinner.

Overall food was good only reason didn't say great is one course of the 5 course Chef selection was cold the"snapper" great ambiance and local went there because it was a Chef Jeremy Ford restaurant and ordered the 5 course Chef selection only to find out he wasn't even there. I'm sorry but if I go to your restaurant and drop $700 on dinner for two Jeremy better be there!

Food was exceptional but timing of kitchen and resulting service was poor. We ordered the tasting menu and were left for over 30 minutes between two courses and over 20 for dessert.

By far, Stubborn Seed is consistently the most creative, tasty, attractively displayed food in town. Miami Beach is lucky that Chef Jeremy Ford was ‘Stubborn’ in getting his restaurant to this point. His attention to the kitchen throughout the week, and the new dishes which appear on the tasting menu make returning recurringly a pleasure. The waitstaff is always attentive, friendly, and effective.

The exquisite food at Stubborn Seed exceeded my expectations.
The server was very friendly and attentive.
The dessert was delicious, both presentation, textures and flavours, cudo’s to the pastry chef.

Excellent food overall. Our server was also great but the ability of the kitchen to get food out in a timely manner was a problem. We ended up canceling one dish. Really not acceptable from a restaurant of this caliber. No attempt by management to rectify.

Second time eating here and the food is excellent - on a par with many Michelin 1* restaurants I have eaten at. Service is a little behind and doesn't match the quality of the food, but overall a great restaurant for Miami Beach and different to the usual offerings.

was in miami for a four day weekend and went there the first night in town, and because it was so good, the last night as well. Imaginative menu and great execution. Highly recommend it. one minor quibble- could use a few more choices in wines by the glass and more attention to the wine list generally

In the web site it”s clearly explained that the 8 courses menu was available
till 10,30 they told us that it was to late. We left the restaurant .

Tried stubborn seed for our anniversary dinner. Opted for 8 course tasting menu (wanted to try Chef Jeremys surprise dishes) with wine pairings. Everything was delicious. Carrot soup with accompaniments and celery heart stand out as extra special. Too much food for me but my portions easily finished by my husband. Wine pairing was excellent. Dessert delectable! Will be back.

Ordered 5 Course Chef Surprise menu. Very delicious dishes with creative flavor profiles. Each course was beautifully plated and carefully described by the wait staff. Chef Ford came out from the kitchen to meet and spend time talking to us. He was very warm and gracious, even offering recommendations on restaurants for the remainder of our trip. Truly a neighborhood gem!

We were at Stubborn Seed a year ago and looked forward to returning on our visit to Miami this year, as it had been an outstanding experience. Our disappointment started when we we were seated next to the kitchen door and a service station. When we asked if we could move, we were told by a waiter with major attitude that we could sit at a high top near the front door or stay where we were. We stayed, only to have a couple seated next to us at a better table for four. We were then told that our two main dishes--fish and beef--would not arrive at the same time. While eating dessert, this same waiter brought us our check before we asked for it. The prices are very high for this type of careless, inconsiderate, rude service. And while the food is very good, the overall experience was just awful. There are much better choices in Miami.

We had the 8 course tasting menu. Food overall tasted excellent with some stand out dishes, particularly the raw protein and vegetable forward preparations. Some of the portions were really too large for a tasting menu so it seemed like they were just pulled from the a la carte menu rather than being especially designed for a tasting. There were some service issues with too long a wait between courses in some cases (almost 40 minutes in one case). Attention to detail of the pacing is imperative for a successful tasting menu, not too short and not too long. Can be just a few minutes for a few bite course but shouldn’t go much beyond 20-25 minutes even for larger courses. Ambiance is quite casual and it got very loud at times though it was always possible to hold a conversation.

The food was inventive, beautifully presented, exceptionally tasty, and overall outstanding! We also had top-notch service, mostly provided by Steve. The table was nicely dressed (small spring of baby’s breath on the napkins was a sweet touch). It definitely was a memorable meal and our group of six tried most everything on the menu that evening (rivaled our experiences at Girl and the Goat in Chicago and Nonesuch in Oklahoma City). Our particular favorites included the chicken liver butter and the tuna dish. I would absolutely recommend this restaurant to foodies and want to return.
