Studio Gauthier is the exciting new project from Alexis Gauthier, taking over the unique and beautiful setting of the BFI building in Fitzrovia. Beautiful velvet booths meet austere concrete and California colours with a large open kitchen to see everything the chefs are preparing. The 100% plant based menu features, for the first time, Gauthier Soho level dishes in a less formal and more wallet friendly environment, perfect for a fun evening with friends.
Also don’t miss the private, sheltered mews terrace at the back.

enokhi mushrooms were bland and fried to a crisp, in which oil..not very appetising. 4 tortellini with some inedible mushrooms- for £26 pounds....i mean come on, what is the work coming too..... sushi was the best.... pear jelly was too stodgy.... drinks were interesting, but way overpriced...for small glass...!!

As usual, a wonderful experience at Studio Gauthier. Beautiful food, room and ambience. Highly recommend whether you're vegan or not.

Divine food. Particularly loved the truffle arancini, the main course with oyster mushrooms and the amazing pear tart with artichoke sorbet. I have never had such tasty delicious food as at Gauthier in my whole life! Definitely my favourite restaurant. Can’t wait to go there again. Wish they’d offer afternoon tea as well….

I booked a table for a belated birthday dinner; I’m the only vegan, but my friends were happy to try. It actually exceeded my expectations and one of my friends said it had changed his view on vegan food.. We shared all the dishes and everything was lovely, except the portion of the soy meat flank was only starter size, so that was the only disappointment. (Had you run out or was it supposed to be 8cmx4cm for £32?) See you again..

Great food, staff and atmosphere. Very original vegan recipes , well presented and explained by the staff. Great cocktails too. Truly recommended

A very relaxing evening. My daughter and I thoroughly enjoyed the experience, this was my third visit and their high standards have not failed to impress. looking forward to visiting again

Went for a date night with my husband, who is vegan. We enjoyed a 'lockdown' Gauthier home cook box for his birthday a few years back so very much looked forward to visiting Studio Gauthier! We booked for the tasting menu as I wasn't sure on the idea of vegan sushi, however this ended up being the star course! The Vsalmon was amazing - I genuinely couldn't believe it wasn't fish. The arancini was also delicious but I personally found the other courses quite bland and lacking in flavour which was disappointing. My husband seemed to enjoy the food more than I did but agreed that the menu didn't flow very well between courses. We enjoyed a really lovely bottle of wine, but not sold on the cocktails sadly. Nice atmosphere in the restaurant and good music but I think the lights could do with being dimmed slightly as it was a bit bright. All in all we had a lovely evening, and would certainly return for the sushi menu next time.
