I haven’t dined in Sullivan’s in years but have ordered takeout. I’ve been wanting to go there for lunch since before the pandemic and I made reservations for Saturday at 1:30pm. There were already 4 tables seated when we arrived and only one waiter for the entire dining room even as more people arrived and were seated. The service was sub par to say the least and this was definitely because of the waiter. The manager and some other staff were trying to help him by also bringing food and drinks to the tables but everything was so slow. 2 tables that were seated after us received their entrees before we did. We had some appetizers and they came out pretty quickly but we waited over a hour to receive our entrees. The waiter was very poor at asking us did we want any more drinks or if everything came out all right. It took him more than 20 minutes just to take our order so I shouldn’t have been surprised. The food and drinks were good but overall the experience wasn’t so much. I would think twice about going there again for dine in unless I have 1.5 hours to waste.

Disappointing experience. Ordered the prix fixe plus appetizer and sides. Waiter didn't tell us the dish came with mashed potatoes, so we ordered a baked potato and sauteed spinach. When the food came and we saw the mashed potatoes, the waiter apologized for not telling us and said he would take the potato off our tab. Spinach was so salty you couldn't eat it and we returned it. Beef Wellington appetizer was good. Mashed potatoes were lukewarm. When we got our check, nothing had been taken off, so we had to ask. Just poor service overall. I would have expected better for the price and supposed class of restaurant.

The food was very good. Our server was not good at all. We had my two Grandkids with us and the server took forever to take our drink orders than it took a long time for him to return with our drinks and I had to ask him to please order some appetizers. It than took a while for him to take the dinner order. Next many in our party had empty drink glasses and I had to ask him to please refill our drink. When the food came out one was not cooked to well done and another was missing the requested grilled onions. Than once this was remedied. Than it took another long time to take our dessert orders. It seemed as if this server was trying to avoid our table. Usually most servers know if you have small children you need to try to get things ordered fairly quickly due to the kids get bored. I also had to remind him about refilling are drinks multiple times. I have eaten at Sullivan multiple times and never have had such poor service

Normally Sullivan’s KOP is a great dinner experience. However on Father’s Day, just as I had received my appetizer, the Kitchen caught on fire and the entire restaurant was closed for the rest of the afternoon/evening! Fortunately there were no apparent injuries or damage. Of course there was no recourse and we could not make a substitute reservation at that late hour. I only look forward to my family taking me out to somewhere special on Fathers Day and my Birthday so I was very disappointed to say the least.

Enjoyable experience. Our party of 4 was pleased with our food selection and the service was excellent. Prix fix menu is a good value. For a chain steakhouse, the overall experience exceeded our expectations. Every single staff member we encountered was courteous and helpful. Live music on a Friday night was a treat.

Another fabulous dinner at this wonderful Steakhouse. It was a first time visit for two of our friends and they were really impressed with the menu, quality & presentation of the various meals. Zach our server was extremely detailed oriented & had a great sense of humor which made our evening even more fun !

Overall the experience was underwhelming. It was not a busy night with only a few other tables there. Given that service was OK, not great. Had to ask a busboy to refill kids sodas. Appetizers were good, seafood was very good (scallops and seabass), Two NY strips were good, cooked perfectly, but a bit tough. 2 others ordered the "prefix" with NY strips and both were ordered medium rare, but came out well done. Not sure how a "steakhouse" overcooks steaks. The sides were very good - mac and cheese was excellent, brussels sprouts were good. Overall don't think the value was there for the cost.

The best way to summarize our dining experience at Sullivan’s was disappointing. It has been a couple of years since we dined here, and chose our wedding anniversary as a good occasion. The highlight of the night was the bubbly friendly hostess, unfortunately I don’t know her name. She greeted us and chose a great table for us to include privacy. I’m not sure if the restaurant was understaffed, or this is the usual table service, we did not experience much attention to our meal. My steak arrived over cooked, which I understand can happen, it took awhile for our server to check with us after our steaks arrived. There was no problem with remaking it. And it was good the second time. However my spouse and I ate separately. The creme brûlée was just ok and took quite a long time to make it to the table. I had already finished my coffee at that point. This review may sound a bit picky, but in the past we have always received top notch service and food at Sullivan’s. Therefore we will have to consider returning for another meal. The knock out martinis are just as delicious as we remembered.

We had the misfortune of coming into Sullivans on the night that there was a huge party in the back room. Although our server was very friendly the service itself was Mediocre. Steaks were not cooked as requested. They needed to be sent back. Scallop dinner was cold when served. When steaks were sent back out to the table they were so over cooked there wasn’t an ounce of flavor left to them. The wait time between our salads and our entrées was over 30 minutes. Overall it was a very disappointing experience.

The steaks are not as good as other places (capital Grill and Flemings). It was obvious that this is a young inexperienced group of servers. I think it was the first time our server ever opened a bottle of wine. But all were friendly. So certainly not the best but not the worst either.

Stopped in for early dinner with short notice reservations for 6:15 pm on Saturday evening. Easy reservations via Open Table but still 10 min wait from time of reservation. Clearly the hostess doesn’t realize she must greet the people standing at the desk as we had to ask if they were open between her phone gazing. With an eye roll she asked three times and what the name was. After the third curt request, she said “oh” and said “follow me”. From there we walked through a half empty dining room to our U Table where we were clearly “dropped” to no employee awareness for 15 minutes. We ordered a bottle of wine ($90) apps (2 X $18) two soft drinks. Another 15 min goes by (note:7:15now, one hour after reservation) without water or drinks. After drinks arrive, we await the server to take meal, another 8 min. Orders four different steaks (min &48 per steak) two sides ($11 & $16). Our food arrived all over cooked (rare was medium rare and medium rare was medium well) on cold plates. If you are calculating, this is now upwards of $400 meal for a terrible experience. Do yourself a favor, go to local diner and order anything. The cost benefit ratio will surely pay off. Stay away from this place as they can’t cook the food well.

Overall, service and food were good. Have never really had a bad meal at Sullivans. Cheesesteak egg rolls are really something special along with the wedge salad. My wife and I each had the filet which was cooked perfectly. Side of Brussels sprouts was delicious.

Had a drink. Blonde female bartender walked by us 6 times and never even acknowleged our party. Same bartender was complaing in front of customers about not wanting to work. 20 minutes to get a drink at an empty bar. After we were seated the food came out cold. Sent the soup back 3 times as it was cold. The mashed potato side was cold and the crab and hollandaise was cold on top of a very well cooked stake. Rack of lamb were actually single cut over cooked lamp chops. It was all just aweful. I spoke with the manager Andrew and he comped the meal and told me he was aware of the issues. I asked him if he was aware of the issues why wasnt he fixing them. Andrew told me he was new and that was why.

Benn going to Sullivan’s KOP for 30+ years, used to be my favorite go to restaurant in the Area, however over the past 5-6 years the food quality and service had gone downhill. Something has changed recently and my visit last night was excellent! Food and service was excellent!
