Loved the atmosphere! The food, drinks, and old r&b music was perfect for a friends’ get together!
Good atmosphere. Shame about the food. Pretty standard
Amazing food and experience
We went for a friends birthday and will definitely be coming back again! Waiters are so helpful and friendly...5 star service! The vibes were immaculate and the food and drinks were great! Good for young adults who want to have a great night because you’ll certainly find that at Sumosan
Food was awful, tasteless and very expensive. I got the lobster there very little meat, it was a weird consistency (definitely not fresh) couldn’t get hardly any meat it out it was stuck to the inside of it. The pasta it came with was tasteless.
A bottle of cheap Prosecco (
from Tesco which is £8) is sold for £64. The music and vibe is quite good but you can get the same thing at somewhere like mnky house where the food is 100x better. Trying to think of a positive, the service was good.
We went on the Friday and came back the day after (only because mutual friends were there) and the door staff were extremely aggressive with me. While I understand they said they were over capacity when I tried to walk back to my car a bouncer blocked my exit (I was walking on the street no where near the club entrance) a bouncer followed me and he grabbed my arm and said I couldn’t walk on the street! Extremely bizarre and safe to say I will never go back here. Overpriced and aggressive door staff.
Such a lovely experience even whilst everyone was social distanced.
We booked for 9:30pm as we wanted it to be a bit more lively with music and it was just that!
Food was incredible, especially the sushi and the tuna and avocado starter!
Birthday meal for my mother. Service was excellent and the food was delicious. Dessert was super yummy and can’t wait to go back with friends again
Having a diner with thé lové of my life
Pretty nice for ppl on diet very small portion
Everything was good but they forgot to write congratulations like I asked them to. Kind of embarrassing me to ask them to do it so the special occasion didn’t get recognized.
The waiter didnt gave us the change and the food was the worst food i have ever eaten
Service was bad also the food
Dear Anonymous, Thank you for sharing your positive feedback with us. We are pleased to hear that you had a great experience at Sumosan Twiga!
Drinks take for ever to come
All appetizers were so good but them main course are 2/10
Actually food was un tasty! Maki rolls were tasteless!
Service was not good, they asked us to leave after 1.5 hr !
The food was not tasty at all
Great ambience cocktails and fun atmosphere
Great time again in a sumosan, staff were great. A small mistake was made with a drink and they rectified it before we even notices. Food was delicious, especially the black cod. Great athmosphere and overall great night.
Waiters were friendly but take the plates too quick. The food was good but I find it very expensive comparing to other restaurants. The fries were almost cold.
1 member of the Reception Team behaved in an unacceptable manner to both myself and another member of my dinner party (we both arrived at separate times). We would both expect an establishment such as this would treat all guests in the same manner, and unfortunately this did NOT happen.
Was a lit time
Poor service, cold miso soup, incredible cold in the restaurant! When we arrived the staff was vacum cleaning...
Nice dinner ! Very good service. Will be back for the brunch !
Overpriced for the size of the portions
I honestly don’t understand why anyone would come here. The food is mediocre at best! If it wasn’t for the £80p/p minimum spend I would have left after the first dish.
The cocktails were good if a bit overpriced. The staff were friendly but kept pushing us and ultimately asked us to leave as the table was now needed. Given only 3 tables were occupied, this was slightly off-putting.
Food is very average (from italian menu) and the portions are tiny. The gnocci tasted like it was made from dolmio sauce! Its another restaurant where there is all hype around the name and location but no substance. It looks like an old ladys living room inside! The lounge isnt open apart from Sundays so there is no where to go after eating as the bar is tiny. The crowd is 70% girls, mainly on their social so mind you small food portions would go unnoticed. This restaurant is trying too hard to be the next Bagatelle getting their waiters to shimmy round and build up hype so people dont notice they are eating food that potentially could have been a microwave meal from Tesco. On the plus side its open till 3am if your looking for somewhere to eat late as London places usually close so early. Also our waiters were really nice so cant take that away.
Yum yum and more yum! Can’t say any more about this trendy place. It was a bit empty for a Saturday night and we spent a lot more than we anticipated but the foooddd. My god! So good!
The food was ok nothing special and expensive. They put me in an empty space when downstairs it had live music . They ruined my first night in London.
Lovely place , nice music , but the food not worth it
Waiters kept giving us wrong orders, no one was helpful, food was not as good as I expected.
I had been waiting for my main dishes for more thank hour and half ..
I had been waiting for food after I finish my starter 1 hour and half without food !! I get really annoyed
Seems like more service people than guests. Music playing just any styles available, annoying. Food is OK. Zero atmosphere.
Love it ..especially on weekends after 10 PM
Great food, relaxed atmosphere and thank you to both the waitress’s for recommending the dessert from Naples. Amazing
They kept me waiting 30 minutes to prepare my table..
We enjoyed our meal although somewhat disappointed at the lack of gluten free options on the Japanese menu. Have never been to a Japanese place, let alone one at this price point, that wasn’t able to accommodate gluten free. The food I had from the Italian menu was good, but still disappointed that I couldn’t have anything at all from the other side. Plenty of other places where the chef prepares the food separately without gluten, or gluten free options are ready to go and available. Was very surprised by this. Drinks and service were all good. Ambience was pretty good. Enjoyed the live band. Would probably come back and give it another try.
Pushy waitstaff, crazy prices, good food.
