    Wonderful elevated location overlooking the sea at Nairn. Pleasant surroundings and tastefully furnished. Service was good although did have to ask someone to take our order after sitting for some time and saw others being served before us. A little disappointed with the cauliflower and harissa with roasted garlic chickpea starter which was very small and a bit dried out for £9.00 but I liked the idea and the flavours in this dish. Roast vegetable Tian was very tasty, tantalising flavours as was the pork belly porchetta. Did not sample the desserts on this occasion. Despite these issues would still return again.

    The food was excellent in particular my main course of sea trout which was one of the best I have had in recent years.The table service was good with staff being attentive and polite. The surroundings were very pleasant with nice outlook. The only thing that was disappointing was that I had ordered flowers for our 26th Wedding anniversary and they were delivered to the wrong table for others to enjoy. I also had to repeatedly ask where the flowers were with staff who insisted mine had not been delivered . Eventually the manager realised the flowers had been delivered to the wrong table. This was after we had paid for our meal and as we were leaving. Disappointing end to what was a lovely meal.

    Excellent service and particularly good food in an outstanding location. We had to wait a little while for our main course,, but the restaurant was very busy which, in itself, tells a positive story! Thank you!

    Excellent lunch. Views spectacular. Food first class. Super friendly service. Only caveat: vat was added at the end, and it wasn’t clear hat it was not included in the advertised price of the lunch. Also being charged an extra £1.50 for a slice of bread was a bit steep.

    Really enjoyed the food and bright restaurant with amazing views. Service a little slow but they were very busy. Pleasant waiter. The noise level was high which was unavoidable but why music was being played I don’t understand. It made the noise a din. We are local and have been here several times before and will certainly go again. Can’t recommend enough.

    A fantastic evening. Utterly stunning food that looked as good as it tasted, and the staff couldn't be more professional and attentive. I highly recommend that you try this dining experience. And the views are to die for!

    Celebrated our wedding anniversary, had a lovely view from our table. The service was friendly and the food was amazing. Would highly recommend a visit.

    We were looking for better than we received on Saturday night. It was busy with people celebrating Birthdays (which is great, it should be that kind of place) but our service, experience and food was lacking. We started our evening with a drink at the bar and a catch up with friends. We then tried to catch the eye of a few staff to ask if we should take to our table as time appeared to be getting on. Nobody was approaching us to say it was time. We sat down and menus were given. It all seemed a bit haphazard, we gave our food order before our wine order. 1 bottle of wine was wrong. 5 out of 6 starters came and we all waited for the 6th, same with the main course and it all just seemed a bit chaotic and lacking good service. The cauliflower starter was bought by myself and my husband on the basis of a photo we saw on Facebook. I think our portions plus 4 more would maybe have been the amount shown in the picture. It so wasn't worth £9 each. It just covered the bottom of the dish. The lettuce/parmesan bowl used to bulk up dishes was sitting in water. When the bill came we 6 collectively thought it wasn't worth it and a measly tip (so not like any of us) was left. We're not entirely sure any staff were on the floor when we left either So all in all, no it wasn't great and it wasn't like previous Sundancer experiences sorry to say and the Good reviews we've always given in the past for The Sundancer and other establishments owned/run by the new owners/group.
