   I ordered a medium steak but it arrived overdone and it was rather fatty. The waitress did offer to exchange it but it would’ve meant my husband & I eating separately which I didn’t want. The chips, onion rings & sauce were good though. They did take our drinks off the bill as a good will gesture.

   As we booked for an early lunch the restaurant was almost empty and it was ideal for us: no noise and very relaxing atmosphere. The view of the sea from the table was stunning. We chose from the lunch menu and ordered the smoked haddock which was delicious, the crumb coating was crispy and not at all greasy. And the price was very reasonable. We will certainly come back.

   A lovely place to eat and always good food. Although it took a bit of a long time to arrive. But that made it all the better when it came!

   One very good starter the other an overcooked tart served with cold diced potato, one very good main meal and one disappointingly tasteless Seabass with overcooked hot diced potatoes. Disappointing as they were not busy so no need to push out food not up to standard.

   It was our third visit. Food was absolutely outstanding and the service was excellent and very friendly. Everything cooked to perfection and the Sea Trout was a particular treat as it is rare to find it on menus. We will be back when we visit Nairn again in November.

   Beautiful leisurely lunch. Service a little slow but otherwise outstanding. Food was delicious and beautifully presented.
