Amazing place, we had a lovely dinner for a family member Bday. Host was nice, showed us to our table, waitress made some great recommendations. Food was A+++. Will go back again.
I love this restaurant. It's one of my favorite restaurants of all time. The Sunday Brunch is just outstanding. The grounds are beautiful. The staff is friendly and kind. I walk through the restaurant at times and look at each table where I have celebrated a special event or ate a delicious meal with beloved family and know that this place has never disappointed me. It's outstanding in every way.
Always a fantastic brunch at Sundy House ! Highly recomend.
Great for celebrations! Wide assortment of food and drink. If you can afford it—it's not to be missed.
Concise and flavorful menu. Personable professional service. Although outside dining is available do not dismiss the relaxed elegance of old Florida charm inside. Overall an outstanding dining experience. Food with flavor coupled with caring service. A rare event in South Florida.
Amazing time . Atmosphere is so relaxing and enjoyable...
Friends told us this is a “must do” when we visited. They were right. Gardens and ponds were delightful and the food did not disappoint.
Scallop undercooked. Grouper very overcooked. Risotto was not risotto—it was just rice. Spinach salad was outstanding. Wine prices were good. Entree prices too high for the quality.
Sunday Brunch is always wonderful. Love the curry pasta. The service is great!
L’endroit est féerique, la nourriture goûteuse et à point. Notre serveuse agréable. Que des notes positives
We went for the Saturday brunch, which is a great deal - not too costly but delicious food and a lovely, peaceful setting. We prefer to sit outside in the beautiful garden area. You would never believe you were sitting in the middle of Delray - it's so quiet and peaceful.
The most beautiful and historic dining venue in Delray Beach with excellent food and service complementing the wonderful setting.
Lovely setting, great service, good food - wonderful place
Excellent meal. In beautiful surroundings. Anka was a very capable and friendly server. Will go back again and again.
Crab cake starter was completely tasteless. I didn’t even order an entree because it was so bad. I had a Caesar Salad that also was fairly tasteless. This place must be just living on an old reputation or really just for weddings. They were out of the octopus starter in an almost empty restaurant.
The only bright spot was the staff- Richard was wonderful.
We were inside- restaurant smelled damp and stale.
Wonderful setting and food.
Great place for any special occasion. I've been for anniversary, birthday, and bridal. Every time perfect ambiance, delicious food, and friendly staff.
Excellent service and the food was phenomenal. Love the buffet and the endless mimosas. This is our 3 time in the past 6 months and we are always pleased with everything.
Sunday Brunch is amazing!! The establishment itself is very cozy and comfortable with its beautiful garden areas.
Our experience each time has been amazing. Garden seating was perfect. The food was delicious. We have zero complaints and look forward to going back.
This is a billed as a landmark "special occasion" restaurant. The garden is beautiful but if you eat inside as we did -- can you believe they don't have heat lamps??? -- it's nothing special. Food is ok, but nowhere near as good or innovative as the prices would indicate.
Also, they are VERY difficult to reach on the phone. I would have rescheduled for a warmer night but couldn't get them to answer. FInally, I had told them it was my friend's birthday and expected at least a cookie with our coffee but nothing. The service was good but you should also know they do a major wedding business. This Saturday night, we could hear them loud and clear and it wasn't pleasant ....
The service was terrible. Waitress had an attitude and when we asked after 30 minutes where was our food she said 5 minutes. After an hour I went to the manager. She said the had large tables. Then they should get more help or not take reservations. The poached eggs were too well done and not once did the waitress come and ask how the lunch was They did credit our coffee. Would not recommend. The are only interested I in wedding parties
First visit in two years. Saturday brunch was great for all four in our party, especially the huevos rancheros. Beautiful day to enjoy the magnificent garden setting.
Fabulous brunch a must!!!
Great, as usual!
Overpriced for the quality and variety of food at the brunch, service was not impressive. Would not return.
Delightful Sunday Brunch. You can find from omelettes, Benedictines, to prime rib, salmon and in between fresh oysters, shrimps and crab. Delicious salads, charcuterie, premium cheeses and much much more. Soft live jazz singer, unbeatable ambiance surrounded by a lush botanical garden.
We love the brunch at Sundy House. The food is excellent and the buffets are consistently replenished. The service has always been outstanding with the waiters and waitresses keeping the table cleared and silverware replaced. All of this in the beautiful setting of the Sundy House gardens. We will be back again!
Good food and service. Too noisy
Definitely a go to restaurant with a beautiful botanical garden setting. The menu will delight any diner, kudos to the chef! Put this on your go to list.
accommodating, good service and good food, great setting, fully enjoyed our time and would recommend the restaurant
This is a beautiful oasis located in heart of downtown
Delray. There are tables scattered throughout the grounds , situated amongst the trees and gardens.
Very romantic and food is delicious
One of our favorite restaurants
My husband and I had the grouper with bok-choy and jasmine rice. Excellent!
This was the second time I ate here. The first time was great. Came back with my whole family. The service from the waiter was almost non-existent. I can only guess that since we were a party of seven, the tip was guaranteed. Regardless, bad service. Had to look for him at least five times for different things like our drinks, our food, salt and pepper, and maybe to ask where the flavor to our food went. Food was bland. I don’t like to put salt and pepper on my food but it was the only saving grace to the pile of nothing that was put on my plate. The drinks were undesirable and their wine by the glass list was mediocre for fish options. Didn’t bother with dessert. By the time we got there, we were dying to leave. My parents, who don’t have the best taste in food, both said it was a poor performance by the establishment. Can’t get any lower than that.
Took drink away before finished, which isn't a big deal unless it's an expensive alcoholic beverage. When asked to box up my $35 meal, all they boxed was the steak, not the almost full side dishes that were left. So I later went to eat it at home and felt VERY slighted. This used to be my favorite restaurant for anniversaries and date nights, but the last few times everything has just been meh, so it's time to find a new place.
Have dined at the Sunday Brunch on many occasions. First time they ran out of crab legs which was a huge disappointment.
Amazing! Everything about the brunch is Incredible!
Great location, great service and the food was delicious. Many great choices including a carving station, seafood bar, omelet area and of course all of the traditional breakfast offerings. I would highly recommend this brunch.
We sat outside. It rained but we did not get wet. It was beautiful.
Requested a private table, which they seemed to have plenty of. And was sat in a gazebo with 3 other couples. Was very disappointed with that. The food was great and the server was awesome, but had a hard time having a conversation with my date talking over the other couples sat with us.
