Phenomenal food. Great vibe. The chef is the man.
Our waiter was outstanding! The food was good but not as great as in the past.
Supper Restaurant never fails to delight. The kitchen is outstanding and whatever you choose to order is delicious. Always save room for desserts which are unbelievable. My wife and I have been coming here since the place opened and that must be at least 15 or more years ago. Such staying power is there for very good reason. Try it, you'll love it.
The pasta was amazing. It is a charming neighborhood place with a lovely patio. The cash only policy is a bit outdated although clearly stated.
Interesting place remember to bring cash because that’s all they except if you’re a small group you might get a communal table and that he’s not a bad thing. It’s these village and it represents well. That lemon pasta is everything they say it is.
Wonderful experience!! Amazing food, top-notch service and great vibes.
Overall a nice place. Thankfully the weather allowed us to eat outside. I’d use caution to return based on where you are staying. Our Lyft was $78 each way. That was on us.
The food is excellent. The service is friendly and middling. Had to flag our waiter 3-4 times. And we were sat next to the kitchen and it was shockingly loud. We will come back, but will never sit near the kitchen again. I can still hear the banging.
Will definitely be back to Supper! Affordable, delicious food can be a challenge in NYC but this place nails it. Only compliant is it was quite hot in the restaurant (90 degrees outside) and the AC wasn't cutting it. Won't stop me from returning though.
This special eclectic restaurant has a wonderful menu. They serve great salads, fresh homemade pasta and delicious entrees. The wine list is extensive. I love dining here.
Lemon pasta is the BOMB
Great outdoor seating, pricey menu means bring a lot of cash!
I was here in March for my birthday and when my friend was in this past weekend from London, I knew she'd love it as much as I did. The waiter brought out bread and their delicious spread of whole white beans in a garlicky sauce. We shared the prosciutto and fig appetizer which was yummy and then we both ordered the Spaghetti al Limone which is a very simple dish of spaghetti with butter, lemon and Parmesan cheese. One of the best pasta dishes I've ever had! Added a little fresh pepper and we were both in heaven. Then we shared the hazelnut panna cotta with warm chocolate sauce and fresh berries. Needless to say, we left there stuffed, but happy!
This place never disappoints. We always make it a point to visit whenever we are in New York. It doesn’t matter what you order, everything is absolutely delicious!!! And the service is incredible. This last visit we were celebrating my 7 year old daughters birthday and they treated her day wonderfully. Absolutely a must whenever you’re in the city!!! Thanks for everything
Delightful dining with tasty food. Delicious veal meatballs appetizer and superb mushroom salad. Excellent service. Music was too loud at start but lowered to pleasant level. Will return.
Très bon restaurant !
La milanaise c’est une folie et
Ils sont adorables !
AMAZEBALLSSSSS ! Had a great meal and staff was awesome !
Burratta was sour. The chicken was eh. The only good item was the lemon pasta. The service was lousy they were too busy taking pictures of food probably for instagram. I had heard good things but my family was very disappointed. We have been to little Frankie’s and love it but supper is poor.
I ordered the tagliatelle bolognese and it was awful and I’ve eaten some awful things. I would expect more from an establishment like this. I realize it could have been an off night or a different chef was cooking but how hard is it to have a little taste before they send out the food? The sauce tasted really bland and almost sweet with no garlic. I’ve never had a bolognese sauce like that. My friends did not enjoy their meals either. I was really disappointed with the whole experience. I specifically picked this place for my birthday dinner because of all the good reviews. I am embarrassed that I took my friends here and wasted their money. The only good thing was the tiramisu.
Make a reservation as this is a popular restaurant. Great food and great service is what keeps this place hopping. Looking forward to going back.
The food was delicious; however, the service was severely lacking. Our server hardly came by during the course of the meal and we waited 15 minutes for our tiramisu because he forgot to run the dessert. Luckily, he took the tiramisu off the bill, but the lack of timely service was frustrating considering the food was delicious.
The food, service and ambiance were all incredible!!
Supper always a vacation favorite when visiting the big city! Easy way to impress friends when you’re taking them out!
Awesome food and service!
Amazing food, wonderful service, and overall incredible experience. Can't wait to go back! Thank you, Supper!
Food was very good, but pricey. Took only cash so with a larger party that was inconvenient
We were a party of 4 who sat outside on a Sunday for a birthday brunch. We opted for the 3 for 1 drinks for brunch. The mimosa was almost pure orange juice. The bellini had a little more sparkling white wine. The coffee was very good, but pricey. The brunch menu was fine. The service was a delight.
Celebrated our daughter’s birthday, a family favorite. Did not disappoint. Everyone enjoyed the wine, octopus, bolognese, spaghetti limone and more. Service was excellent. Cozy and energetic space, we thoroughly enjoyed it. Can’t wait to go back.
I travel all over and their prices were ridiculously expensive.
The food was absolutely phenomenal. Would go again.
Amazing food, tiny quarters. Hard working staff!
Good food, very cozy place for a solid meal, little expensive though for what it is
Fantastic traditional Italian food. Pastas were delicious.
Great food and hospitable staff.
However, we were concerned that the restaurant had a “Grade Pending” health score.
Amazing, authentic italian food. We got reservations thankfully because the place was packed. Our server was very friendly and even offered us a free dessert because we couldnt choose between the tiramisu and the panacotta (which were both so good!)
I recommend this restaurant, they have nice choices and the food is delicious!
Kale gnocchi is the best I've ever had. Such a great spot.
My husband and I had a wonderful dinner here. Our server was absolutely lovely and thoughtful and added to our enjoyment of the evening. I read a number of reviews (of this and other restaurants) before choosing to make a reservation here and I cannot agree with any of the negative comments that people have made, not that there are many. The food was outstanding and not unreasonably priced. The setting is charming and nothing and no one was pretentious. The staff were gracious and went above and beyond to ensure we had a nice time. For instance, I couldn’t decide between two appetizers so our waitress just brought us both and only charged us for one. We live in a very foodie city and it is rare, even when we travel out of the country, that we have meals that rival what we can get at home. Supper did! We will most definitely return the next time we are in the city.
And for what is worth, I couldn’t tell you the last time I wrote a review. I so rarely do but our experience here compelled me to take the time to write. I would give it more than 5 stars if I could!
The table was small, the restaurant was nothing to write home about, and the service was just attentive but nothing more, and it’s cash only. I felt like I was in Europe, but I wasn’t so I wasn’t impressed by the allure of Supper, a restaurant in too Far East in the EV for my liking, but I would go back again and again for the food. I enjoyed everything down to the sauce my lasagna left over. While it was the best lasagna bolognese in the city, i do believe my dinner overall was overpriced, but alas, it’s New York
