Sushi by the Heights is a contemporary Japanese restaurant that values American culture, we offer a variety of food from fresh sashimi, sushi, tempura, roll, 3 styles of hand roll, steak and Robata options. We source the ingredients widely from the world's best sustainable products including Japan, New Zealand (well known for their best King Salmon), Indonesia (spices), and even local ingredients straight to our kitchen.

The perfect place for the quiet birthday dinner we wanted - plus the food was outstanding and the service was fantastic. A bit pricey, but you absolutely get what you pay for.

Bad experience tonight. :-/ sushi is pretty good! Server not so great. Literally 2 other tables when we were there and I had to get up 2x to order more food then ask for check. Wanted a glass of wine and was HH, was about to order one on the menu and sever told me there were 4 options all comparable to the two on the menu. Check comes and was $20 a glass vs the $10 on menu one. They did not revise the check! Not very cool! 👎🏻

The ambiance is really nice. The sushi was good and the waitstaff friendly. Not the best sushi in the heights, but for the price it was an overall good experience.

The chef was really nice and came out to greet us. Our waiter Phil is PERFECT!! He is what makes our dinner awesome.

Impossible to give an honest view since once we were seated, not one employee approached our party except to deliver water. We sat patiently for over 15 minutes while waitstaff served tables to our right and left and never spoke to us even saying “hello” or “ someone will be with you soon”. It felt like we were sitting between two servers stations and we were being “ unclaimed”. We were really looking forward to trying a new place on our list. That did not happen. Doubtful we will try again!

First- the sushi was excellent. Fresh and prices were reasonable. However, the service was far below what is acceptable. Sat at our table for 10-15 min and had to flag down a waiter. Drinks took 10 min and we ordered wine. The owner was even rounding tables and helping out. Other patrons were commenting on the service issue.
