Second visit to this cool Greek restaurant in Soho. This time went for lunch and it was a bit quieter. few new additions to the menu and all the other great items as before. Food comes as it is ready which its in with the informal atmosphere here. Food was great as before. We shared courgette fritters, spicy prawn croquettes, baked aubergine with walnuts and feta and I had a great chicken suvlaki wrap.
Friendly service matched with great food. A nice place to eat in Soho and a refreshing change from the more traditional Greek restaurants. Suvlaki is a modern twist on Greek food and it works really well.
Great food and a friendly, relaxed and lively atmosphere. Great for pre theatre.
Amazing food, friendly people, decent prices. The place is very small and we were a bit squeezed but we didn’t mind that at all. And the fudge that you get with the bill... heavenly!
Food was great, but the place is very cramped and the staff were polite enough.
Great spot with fabulous food where every mouthful can be appreciated.
Best greek food I've ever had. Staff were extremely friendly. Will ive going back.
Small restaurant with a big heart... a really great find
The food tasted nice, however, I wasn't keen on the modern tapas style which was expensive for what we got
Slightly over priced, but you're paying for the location of central London. Great food and lovely selection of Greek tapas style dishes.
We got our table just in time, they explained us the menu, and received recommendations of it, they even ask us if we were having a good time in the city. Great service.
Great food in the heart of Soho.
Great food where no compromise is made on the quality.
Service is quick and efficient with a very friendly staff.
A must try and come-back!
Amazing food and amazing service, a little gem in Soho. Such a good recommendation from a friend!
Great find. Everything perfect... food is excellent
Amazing food at such a good price! Very small but that adds to its charm. Possibly not the best place to take people which would not be able to sit on a low stall - although most tables had chairs.
As always Suvlaki will never let you down!! Always impressed and always in love with this food!! See you soon Suvlaki!!
Small & cosy , Amazing food very authentic, souvlaki cooked perfectly,Courgette fritters are a must ,great service ,we were looked after .
Greek authentic cuisine. The atmosphere is very friendly and cosy and the staff are very helpful.
Great food choices, would recommend 3 per person as some are quite rich. But good Athenian grill. Would recommend
Great food, went with Greek pal too so not just a comparison to the local kebab shop. Service fine just a bit odd at times. Tables far too small. I’m six foot and found stools far too small to use.
Far too many tables packed in to the space they have, guess that’s the soho rent/rates impact.
Great dinner at Sulavaki. Must have the prawn saganaki and the chilli lamb chops
Food was sublime. It’s a very small restaurant however so try and go when it’s quiet!
Excellent food and excellent service highly recommend if you love authentic greek food
One of the best meals we’ve had in London. Great food, friendly service, in a nice little setting right in the heart of Soho.
great little quick stop off - tiny and busy - not the most comfortable so good for a quick supper
Really great cosy authentic Greek eatery. Food and wine is really tasty and great value. However 3 of us were squeezed on a table for 2 so it was a little uncomfortable.
Such delicious food, love the Greek beer and the cold cups they come in!! Lovely service.
We absolutely loved Suvlaki Soho. It's a hidden gem in the heart of soho. Food is greek tapas, all seemed home made and lots of delicious flavours. We went for the chicken kebab, with chips and some pitta and tzatziki. Really delicious! Gorgeous interior too with stylish decor and the staff were friendly and informative. Would definitely recommend.
Fabulous tapas style Greek food. Delicious!
Anazing food. Great service. Only draw back is tiny takes and chairs very cramped. But tbe food makes up for it
The food was fantastic. Really enjoyed everything. Only note is it would be fantastic to have a full bar. Because of the lack of it we ate and left very quickly rather than enjoying more time with drinks.
Lovely place, food was amazing, the staff are genuinely Greek (which as a Greek person helped). Loved the fresh food and creative cuisine. Yum yum.
Great people great food great service as usual! Love it here!
Great food, great wine. Perfect for couples or small groups.
Great meal. Try the prawn saganaki it excellent
Nice spot for dinner. Kind of Greek style tapas, generally really nice food and good service. Felt a little expensive for the portion sizes but it’s soho I guess! The baked feta was a winner!
Lovely place, I came here before a comedy show with two friends, after having visited twice before. The wraps are delicious, I highly recommend the prawn! Delicious desserts as well. Friendly service, with helpful explanations of the menu. Right in the heart of Soho.
We had a great time here. The restaurant isn't big but well laid out and nicely modern rather than a typical folky Greek place. Our server explained the dishes and how many small plates to order. Food comes as it's ready and it was all very good. Particularly liked the spinach & feta samosas and courgette fritters. As the name suggest the suvlaki are the stars here. Succulent grilled chicken in mine with a really fresh wrap. Small wine list featuring Greek wines naturally - and ours was really good.
Service was really good and also friendly. Coupled with great food it's a wining combination. Nice to see a modern take on Greek cuisine. Will definitely be back.
Lovely dinner with friends. All the food we tried was great. Relaxed, friendly atmosphere. Lamb chops were the best!
Souvlaki is a great place with Greek authentic food! highly recommended and service is great!
My fourth visit and my fourth fabulous experience of this wonderful little restaurant!!
Small plates of food heaven!! My favourites, courgettes fritters (crisp on the outside and oozy inside) and a pork kirikathi (slow cooked pork and orzo - pure comfort food!). Even made it to dessert this time and wowed was I glad to! The chocolate dome was YUM!!
Wrap friendly, fantastic service around all of that and you’ve got a top experience!
It’s small so make sure to book - wouldn’t want you to mIss out! Oh and I’m not local! We travel in by train for 90 mins!
