The chicken was sublime; one of the best chickens I’ve ever had. Didn’t know Greek tapas exist as a concept but there are definitely exquisite

Restaurant and experience was good overall. Food was very tasty though the portion sizes are very small. Desserts were the highlight!

Food was delicious and service was very attentive. Particularly enjoyed the mini souvlaki and the courgette fritters

Our dinner at Suvlaki was superb! The ambience is really lovely for a date night, the food is delish and the waiter made our night even more special by how warm and welcoming he was. Will be telling all of our friends and family that visit London to try Suvlaki!

Toilets could be cleaner - no toilet seat on one toilet and lights not working

Tiny portions of bland food, some dishes very greasy. The chicken had a grey pallor rather than a corn fed white. Expensive for what was served up.

Absolutely superb food, and really authentic. An excellent location for a double date, or even just for one!

Never judge a book by it’s cover! A very unassuming shop front but the food...WOW! Greek tapas all freshly cooked to order! There were 8 in our party and we all loved every dish. Totally authentic and totally delicious.

Great Greek-tapas style menu, very tasty food, super friendly staff and a sophisticated (if a little dark) atmosphere. The roasted aubergine with feta, pomegranate and nuts was beautiful. Would definitely like to go back and try more dishes!

Quite an informal restaurant, with a limited menu so make sure you check before you book if you’re a fussy eater. Everything we ate was amazing, definitely recommend the Greek salad and lamb moussaka! Amazing value!! Only thing missing was a cocktail menu!

Food was excellent. Staff were friendly but the service was fairly poor, we waited nearly 15 minutes for menus which really isn’t good enough. Once ordered the food actually came within a reasonable period of time. It’s a small building but it did seem a little understaffed, one extra waiter/tress would have been better for a Saturday night

The service was quick and hassle free with the waiters being fairly friendly but rushed at some points. The food was outstanding and I was blown away by the quality of the food. The atmosphere was great with everyone happy and the price for the food is perfect and was a cheap but worth the money meal.

Cold food, inedible calamari and poor customer service. Such a disappointment after really looking forward to it!

Very Good food

What an unbelievable experience. Intimate and the food was beyond description. Travelling from Washington DC we could have chosen anywhere to eat on our last night in London. We chose perfectly!!!

The food is so tasty I can’t recommend enough! Staff were helpful and polite, it is quite small but lovely. I was a bit worried when arrived at the front (night time, looked a bit run down) but actually is amazing and makes the experience feel like we discovered a “secret place” :).

The food at Suvlaki is fabulous and great value too!

The restaurant is very small but cosy with low light and the stuff have been excellent extremely polite and nevertheless it was very busy (on a Saturday night) they have left us at the table eating without rushing us out for three and a half hours. The food is great, it is tapas like and I would certainly recommend it.

First time trying greek tapas and really worth it! The food is tasty, the atmosphere is nice and we had a great time. Will go there again!

I love this cosy restaurant. I’ve been twice now and love their tapas menu. They have lots of options for veggies, and pescatarians, plus the usual meat eaters. The octopus was tender & delicious.

Price to value ratio is not great. Dishes are tiny but delicious.

Had a great birthday meal here with my mum and sister. The food was delicious and well prepared. Can’t fault the service either.

Everything was fine except they forgot our fries and brought it at the end of the meal, while we were about to ask for the check. And the said fries were cold and hard. They could have told us that they forgot and ask if we wanted them anyway or at least deduct them from the bill - as they were practically inedible. It’s not about the money, but I don’t appreciate being denied such little courtesies.

Very tasty tapas style Greek dishes. All the usual skewers are great - chicke, pork, lamb as well as wild boar sausage. Fairly cosey layout and good service. My Greek food choice in Shoreditch.

This is a really cool little restaurant and the staff are so lovely & friendly. The food is really delicious but the portions are quite small.

We had a wonderful date night at Suvlaki. The tapas dishes were delicious and a good size, and our waiter Costa provided excellent customer service all night long. Thanks so much, we will be back!

This was my second time at Suvlaki, I brought some friends after being introduced to the restaurant by another friend. The food is of a great standard and the atmosphere is lovely. I had a really nice evening here. Spent around £30 for a small plates meal with a bottle of wine between three.

Delicious food. Good gluten free options. Wine rather expensive hence the lower value rating. Would definitely recommend for a good meal with friends.

Tasty but expensive

Excellent customer service and very kind. Even thought the portions were very small the quality was very good. I would definitely recommend to choose Suvlaki for mezze instead of a main course.
