Very good atmosphere - got gradually busier as the night went on which was good to see! Lots of food options ideal for sharing - will need to go back to try some more!

Great quiet restaurant, has a nice vibe. Service was great and the food tasty. It's a relatively small place so it was nice and quiet. Great place for a catch up with friends. Nice selecetion of Greek wines too!

Lovely place, prices far too high for their tiny platters: 5 pounds for 5 mini-shrimps covered in tomato sauce, 5 pounds for 4 pieces of bread 2cmx2cm with a bit of cheese, 5 pounds for 5 tiny pieces of bread with a 2cm cup of sauce.. :))) must be a good business !

We were a group of 4, and it was all our first time. Staff were extremely welcoming upon arrival. We were initially put on a small table for 4 but we requested that if a bigger table become available that we be moved. 5 minutes later we were moved to a bigger and comfier table. We chose a selection of dishes to share and each one was sublime.
My particular favourite was the cheese nibbles and the prawns. We finished it all off with delicious deserts, the tiramisu and the chocolate dome. Price wise, the food is cheap considering the number of dishes we ordered and how amazing it all tasted. Staff were extremely friendly and attentive!

Overall food is very tasty and it’s a nice restaurant. Small plates to share that are kind of overpriced.

The food was good and the place is nice for a cosy dinner. Only downside, they have a strict cancellation policy - £20 per head if you don’t show up.

Wonderfully looked after by Beatrice, we were treated to another excellent meal at Suvlaki. Everything is delicious. The chef was experimenting with a jacket potato and some amazing butter and herb based dressing - simple but stunning. This place is the best addition to Brick Lane for years.

What a lovely restaurant! My partner and I arrived at 7 and were worried we might have to give up our tavke because our two friends were running an hour late, but the waitress couldn't have been more accommodating. We stayed for over 3 hours in total and had the most delicious food! The spicy lamb chops, cheese nibbles and veggie moussaka were particularly delicious. Because it's tapas the bill does tend to add up pretty quickly, but the food was really tasty and the service was fab. Thank you Suvlaki!

Really tasty food. Corgette cheese balls & prawn skewers & seasonal veg all amazing. Pity the drinks are so limited. Bottled beer starting @£6 , no Metaxa. Few soft drinks.

Suvlaki continues to impress - excellent lamb moussaka and the chicken with olives and tomatoes is lovely. Simple food but packed with flavour and a great buzz. Plus the staff are wonderful and friendly. A real treat.

The ambience of Souvlaki is really intimate cosy and relaxed, Thai is helped by the faint (not too strong) smell of the food and incense, the decor is dark and the lighting dim. It's the type of place where someone would walk in and say "oh this is a nice place". The food was tasty, and relatively reasonable for shoreditch. The small plates are fab and varied, the souvlaki is only 1 small skewer for 7 pounds, so get a wrap.

Very good Greek food. Starters and souvlakis come in small portions and small prices, so you can mix them up tapas style. Very tasty and quite filling, with a reasonable bill at the end. Worth a try.

Sadly despite the positive reviews , we did not have an enjoyable evening . The food was mediocre at best and hugely over priced . My husband was knocked into every time the waitresses went past and quite frankly it was a big let down . Not sure how they’ve managed to get such positive reviews before. Maybe we were there on a bad night ?

Took some client friends out to dinner. Range of food was great, service was good and staff were all friendly and accommodating. Food was delicious, we ordered a range of tapas and mini wraps. Great selection of beer to top it off too. A gem and well worth a visit or two!

Great food. Lovely people. Decent price. If you have ever had Greek food in Greece and loved it... Well this as close as you get in the UK but with a really interesting tapas concept

I booked this table to go with four Greek friends of mine cause they wanted souvlaki. We all enjoyed but the overprice issue was risen by everyone. I had two tiny starters,a 125ml wine and half dessert and paid 20pounds! A souvlaki and a beer go to a whopping 15pounds! Overall ambience and service very delightful but unfortunately is not a place to visit very often

Lovely friendly staff, quick service and pleasant food. Small plates with small portions which is a trend that I find a bit tiresome - I want a proper dinner! There was nothing outstanding but nothing bad either. Seasoning was a bit light - it was lacking the bold Med flavours that I expect with Greek food, but was ok.

Absolutely loved Suvlaki in Shoreditch which takes a tapas approach, with authentic Greek cuisine. Outstanding service - friendly and attentive with Irene and her team definitely going above and beyond to make us feel welcome. The food was excellent. Quite filling so I recommend ordering in small batches. The only slightly negative comment was around the meatballs which seemed to be lacking the wow factor. Particularly enjoyed the pulled pork and the courgette fritters and the bread and dips but really it was all delicious. Nice interior and good atmosphere. Would highly recommend with a caveat: the music was borderline too noisy for bigger groups (or elderly relatives). It is flat for access for a wheelchair but the loo is downstairs. Looking forward to going back soon to sample more of the menu.

The ambiance was really lovely and cosy, although the seating would have been quite tight if the restaurant was booked out.

The waitress was very lovely and hospitable. The food was delicious and there were good

The restaurant is quite small and cosy but it has a great atmosphere, with good music and quite low lighting. Food was delicious and the service was great. Our waitress had some good recommendations. Portions were a little on the small side but we weren’t left hungry. I would definitely recommend this place.
