Great good and service. Authentic Spanish restaurant.
Great food and excellent service. Love the variety in the menu
As always we spent an amazing time in this fabulous restaurant. Can’t wait to come back again soon
Went for 20th Anniversary and they made it feel special. Food and wine were phenomenal as well.
Got together with a friend for wine and snacks. The service was attentive but not overbearing. Definitely recommend the mushroom croquettes and crispy eggplant.
The bathroom is dirty and small is gross
The place is nice
I paid $ 5 for 4 unsolicited biscuits passed as a gift
The food is still good even if the rice from the paiella was overcooked
Went twice in one week...need I say more?
Excellent service & top-quality food as always! Definitely recommend them for weekend brunch.
Great ambiance and flavorful, authentic Spanish cuisine.
Staff went above & beyond to make our anniversary dinner special and memorable! The food was delicious and in sizeable portions. The lighting and music level were just right. Highly recommend!
We ordered Lobster Paella and 3 other small dishes, plus a few cocktails. Rice in Paella is way too wet, tasted like Risotto or soup rice. I picked up a few rice with my fingers then rubbed them with my fingers to show to the Manager its too wet. The Manager asked the kitchen to make a new one, it came out slightly dryer, but still too wet. We packed it to go. I am going to use my cast iron to fix it 😂
mushroom dish & garlic shrimp are delicious.
Service is good in this restaurant.
The restaurant lives up to its fame -- truly Spanish food, prepared with excellent ingredients, and professionally, even elegantly, served. This was a memorable meal for the two of us, we particularly enjoyed the skill and the grace of the server deboning a salt-encrusted fish -- such professional service is rare in Washington.
We had an incredible evening and meal! We were celebrating our wedding anniversary and the restaurant placed rose petals on our table and gave us free champagne and desert. It was above and beyond what we expected - very grateful and happy customers!
Loved the meal. Staff was great and very welcoming. Highly recommend dining there.
Great food and service. Quality was great. We did not know about closing time being just half hour after our reservation. Learning that made us feel a bit rushed but it didn’t have an impact on our experience. Would most definitely come back.
This restaurant was top notch. One of the best dining experiences we have had in the D.C. area. The wait staff was great and the food was phenomenal! Great Spanish experience.
Muy bueno todo, sobre todo los arroces, muy bien hechos!!!
The food and sangria were very good but a little pricey.
What a pleasant surprise, very much exceeded expectations. Classic Spanish ambiance, everything on the menu was so flavorful. Wine paired with the meal perfectly. Best Paella in D.C. we will definitely be back. Adding it to the rotation of our favs
The ambient was vibrant. Live music and the food came out fast and on point. The eggplant with honey is a must. The wine was also very good but the service was very very good. Everything was perfect. We also had a birthday and the flan with cookies and chocolate truffles was delicious. There was no pressure from the waitress for us to hurry up and eat. We spent about 2 hours and all of them were giving us a lot of attention. I recommend this restaurant to anyone coming to DC
Excellent and delicious. Gluten free friendly as well.
Great happy hour. They say the parking is complimentary but with the change I'm paperless parking garage system it no longer is complimentary. Food is delicious and they have live music which makes for a wonderful lively atmosphere but difficult to talk.
Great selection of tapas. Suckling pig was great. Wine list is extensive with some good values. Service was perfect. Highly recommend.
Overall authentic Spanish food and excellent service. Good wine list.
Could not have asked for a better experience. Food was fabulous!
Alabardero is a fantastic place. Love the tapas, so happy to find Mahou Cinco Estrellas on the menu, and great selection of Tempranillo wines.
At first it appeared that the evening was to go well but 15 minutes into our reservation things changed. We had a 7PM reservation and were seated upon our arrival which was 7PM sharp. 15-20 minutes went by and we had to flag down a waiter to take our drink order. After another 15-20 minutes we received our drinks and the bread waitress came by. The bread was great. Another 15-20 minutes went by and we again had to flag down our waiter to take our food order. we ordered several tapas and entries all at the same time. The menu said if you order paella (for two) it will take 25 minutes to prepare. We ordered the paella de langosta for me and wife, son and daughter ordered Chilean sea bass and Halibut con crema coliflor. The tapas came out, in a timely fashion. The pulpo a la gallega, patatas allioli, and pazo de senorans were all good. After about 45 minutes our entrées still had not arrived. The waiter apologized for the second time. When the entrees arrived the paella was most disappointing. The lobster was over cooked and the rice tasted like to was overheated from yesterday. At this point we were 21/2 hours into our reservation and all we wanted to do was get out bill and leave. Again we had to flag down our waiter. After another 15 minutes the waited apologized again and said the internet was down they couldn't make a bill until the internet came back. We won't be going back.
Disappointed. Most of our disappointment was in the service received or lack thereof. We had 2 tapas which were ok, fried manchego cheese with raspberry sauce was fried too long making it tough. The goat cheese, shrimp, avocado and mango salad was wonderful. Finished with lamb chops that were good. More attentive service would have changed our experience.
My wife and I celebrated our anniversary here. We were thoroughly impressed from the moment we were seated. They had a table prepared with flower petals and champagne with a note wishing us a happy anniversary. The service was fantastic throughout and the food was delicious! We will certainly be returning for future date nights.
Excellent food and service. The fried manchego with raspberry sauce and the paella were standouts. Highly recommend
An amazing evening with the beautiful live, music, enchanting flamenco dancing, delicious food, attentive service. We loved our celebration here as a family - and the graciousness of the service.
Amazing restaurant and all the servers are very professional. Anthony is awesome and very professional. The live music and Dance also amazing. The food was super delicious. My favorite place so far. :)
Highly recommend. Excellent service and delicious food.
Great celebration, good food, service and ambiance.
