Tandoor Chop House
Amazing food and staff. A must visit!
The food was delicious, the location perfect and the overall ambiance very good. Great for a lunch time meeting. Maybe try for a table or booth as we have a middle table which was a little noisy for a table of 5.
Birthday dinner with family, after the theatre. Perfectly ending to a lovely day: ambience, service, delicious food.
Excellent food and great service.
A long delay to receive some mint sauce and had to ask three times.
Loved everything about it!
Really good food, service initially was really slow, ignored by a guy who was eating and cleaning tables between not coming over to offer drinks. Ordered food with a young lady who was very helpful and knowledgeable
Delicious food, good sized portions & a pretty reasonable price. Definitely worth repeat trips.
The lamb chops, dhal, naan and cauliflower are a wonderful combination for a fabulous dinner out. Great service, yummy food, wonderful manager. Our experience is always top notch and not to be missed when in Central London! Make reservations.
Great Indian food. The lunch menu is lovely. I get to try a bit of everything.
The chai that goes with lunch is good for 2 person.
Great food. The paneer main and daal side were my favorites. Can get quite loud.
Great food, lovely service, really enjoyed it overall.
When I had a visitor that likes Indian food from out of town, I immediately thought of Tandoor Chop House as a place with great food and great ambiance, and it completely stood up to expectations. Service was a bit "unfocused" in that they brought us a wrong dish and had to be reminded to brings us the water we ordered, but they fully compensated us by offering us that dish on the house while they prepare the dish we ordered, and by their overall friendliness. There's no doubt I'll go there again.
It’s all about the lamb chops if you ask me! The black Dahl was excellent also. Would def recommend!!!
Food was delicious. Nice flavours and interesting fushions. We enjoyed very much
Delicious food and lovely interiors
Great food and a service was friendly. Will be back!
Ate at the Tandoor Chop House for the second time and was even more impressed than the first time. Took along someone who had not been before who was equally impressed.
Amazing food, amazing staff and overall an amazing experience. Will definitely be returning soon.
Great food full of flavour. Very fast service, staff attentive and friendly.
Flavour bursting food, attentive service and great value for money. Found me a new favourite!
Absolutely brilliant! The food was excellent with interesting and exciting flavours in every dish. I couldn’t recommend it highly enough. My favourite restaurant in London!
No open beer -:(. The food was amazing, very delicious!
I will definitely return for the food, the service was good, not outstanding, but the noice was really loud. It sounded like there was a really loud air conditioning unit or something, really loud background noise.
We have come here a few times before and had a lovely meal however on Saturday we turned up for our reservation booked at 9.45 had to wait 10 mins for our table and were told there was nothing they could do but we should have a table ready. Waiting ages for the main courses of which was very dry and quite burnt. Just slightly disappointing.
The food was very tasty - we had only vegetarian dishes. Will go back to try the other veggie dishes on the menu we didn't have this time!
Lovely restaurant, food is delicious and exact portions. The service was great, explaining every dish as we were trying it for the first time. The restaurant is cosy and looking lovely. We will definitely return for more!
Fabulous food and venue
We had a slightly dippy waiter who didn’t know what the special were and had to keep defaulting to a colleague who did....
Welcoming Manager who gave us a lovely table even though we were 20 mins late!
Good quality food, with the right amount of options on the menu.
Work event, and everyone was very pleased! would go back for more Dhal, butter naan and lamb chops!!
The manager on shift was very rude. He had an attitude and let this place down! The lamb chops, however, were divine. The waiters were friendly and polite. Restaurant layout needs a rethink; would be better if seated less people. Overall I wouldn’t recommend due to the poor behaviour of the manager and the cramped dining environment.
Amazing dishes, highly recommend this for vegetarians. Very inventive delicious dishes. Reasonably priced for London too. Cocktails also very tasty 😋. Have been twice already and planning another visit very soon.
We went to the Tandoor Chop House for an early birthday lunch on a Sunday to try the almighty thali as our guest is a big fan of thali.
Staff were friendly and service was quick. Food was nice with a bit of variety and different to your typical thali. You could also see them making naan through the kitchen window.
Top food, so flavoursome. Lamb and cauliflower were the highlights. Good value wine.
Excellent service from friendly attentive staff.
Can’t fault it.
Great location for a pre-performance dinner. Friendly and quick service. Food was very good.
Absolutely amazing the food was fantastic, service wonderful and the ice cream on a stick was outstanding
Underwhelmed by the taste of the dishes we ordered. In the end, the price seemed quite high given the quality of the food and lack of taste generally.
Really enjoyed the food and waitress was very helpful.
Apart from the tandoori rib-eye which was delicious and perfectly cooked, the rest of the food was pretty average. The lamb chops were slightly over cooked & burnt on the outside. The chicken tandoori was tasteless & dry! The thali of sauces was pretty redundant as the dishes each came with a sauce, if we had known that beforehand there would have been no need to order it. The masala fries were tasty but were cold. And even though the waitress was extremely pleasant she wasn’t very knowledgable about the menu, she couldn’t even tell me the difference between the breads except for the size of them. I’m a little disappointed as this was our anniversary lunch and I’ve read great reviews. I think that the menu should be more explanatory, I couldn’t order a cocktail because there were no descriptions!
All looked interesting and the food was good but the chicken was served raw and the steak blue (ordered medium rare). It was replaced well enough but I had already eaten some before I noticed. Not a great experience.
Had at least 3 different waiters, no check back for the food. Ignored on several occasions, long waits. Food bang average. Very poor service and wouldn't come back on that merit.
