Don't forget Calcotada 2018! It’s that time of year once again! Time to roll-up your sleeves, strap on a silly paper bib, strip & dip charred calçots in romesco sauce, pour wine into your mouth from great heights & delve into a vast amount of grilled meats and seasonal vegetables and beans. It’s calçotada time so prepare to get messy.

Tapas Brindisa, Shoreditch Ratings and Reviews
Took my family here for my Mum's 50th and it was a hit with everyone! All of the food was demolished! Which was huge a relief for me as my parent's are creatures of habit and don't like to stray from what they know - so taking them to a tapas place was a risk for them. Nonetheless, it worked out brilliantly! The servers were all very lovely and helpful. They were joking and laughing with us, which can be rare to see in the city.
All in all, a great experience! And I would definitely recommend to everyone!
I love Brindisa in Borough Market but the one in Shoreditch is now my favourite as they have the loveliest outdoor area, a great atmosphere, really friendly staff and most importantly THE BEST food! We had such a great time and so much incredible food - we loved every bit about our evening and will be back soon!
Second-timers to Brindisa Shoreditch. This time, we celebrated our first anniversary here and the staff were so friendly and attentive, it made the occasion all the more special. Would definitely recommend to others, the food was delicious and authentic. Not quite as good as being in Spain but a great local eaterie with buzzy, not overly busy, atmosphere.
This was my first visit to a brindisa restaurant and it was excellent. I need gluten free options and when i rang the restaurant, someone took me through all the options and the waiter was well versed too. A lovely restaurant with great service and a lively atmosphere.
As a vegetarian, I made the mistake of ordering a dish with meat in it ! However, a lovely lady (supervisor I think) noted this and brought me a vegetarian version of the dish at no extra cost. Attention to detail was superb and I wish I had taken her name. The food was delicious. There was a rather loud party of people nearby who made it rather difficult to have a sensible conversation, but that is just something one has to deal with occasionally - at least they were enjoying themselves! Overall, a lovely meal made all the more special by the lady above who noted the error that I had made.
I smashed it with the choice of venue; it was the perfect balance of, "I want this to be a legit date no.2, but nothing overtly formal." The ambiance and sultry crockery really set the mood, and ultimately paved the way for some let's-get-into-it-conversation. The food was lovely, and just cheap enough to have no problem sharing it with my date. All
in all I would recommend Tapas Brindista to anyone looking for a jim-dandy evening, and some of the most ambrosial artichokes in town.
The restaurant wasn't too busy if you go early. Staff are attentive and friendly. The food was great, there was only 2 of us so we ordered 4 tapas dishes and it was enough for us but you may want more. I would recommend the patatas bravas. The squid was not breaded but I actually prefer it that way. The tables are a bit too close together so you end up shouting if the table next to you are too noisy.
